It's so sketchy for your online menu to not have prices. El Meson needs to embrace 2019.

    Mexican

Went to Sazon for the first time in years recently. The cochinita pibil was very good, as was the rice that accompanied it. The beans were quite bland though. The duck enmoladas at El Alma is one of my favorite dishes in town, and the chilango margarita is fantastic if you like spicy booze. My favorite Mexican place right now is Lichas Cantina. Amazing food, good drinks, and great prices.
  3. I still can't use chrome to view tweets, have to use edge (yikes). Wish I could figure this out.

    Indian

Bombay Dhaba. It's a food truck on S 1st. The goat biryani is the best I've had, and I used to live in the UK.

    Chineez

Sichuan River and Din Ho are my favorite Chinese spots. Lots of good spicy food at Sichuan River, and good Chinese bbq and seafood at Din Ho. Get a whole smoked duck at Din Ho if you've never had one before. The cumin lamb and mapo tofu at Sichuan River are both really good.
  6. Someone just as unimportant as you.
  7. No, I don't like it. This is a recruiting forum. Most of the last 3 pages have been anything but recruiting. To top it off, most of the "discussion" regarding TEs and WRs has been absolutely, dumbfoundingly stupid.
  8. The Austin library is already a landmark and is busy every day of the week. Have you ever even been there, especially on a Saturday? You could not be more wrong.
  9. On my Windows computer while using Chrome and I cannot view embedded tweets. I enabled cookies from Twitter, but that didn't help. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks
  10. Whoops! They also rate LA and DC. My bad.
  11. Unfortunately, it won't have a chance to get a Micheling star. Michelin doesn't rate restaurants in most of the US, just NY, Chicago, and San Francisco (how are they here over LA?).
  12. Why? What do you mean?
  13. I like the spicy tenders from Golden Chick the most.
  14. I listened to the one that came out recently, and it was horrifically bad. Terrible jokes, everything is somehow sexualised, and it didn't seem like they had any insight that I didn't have. I turned it off half way through.
  15. This board has been fucked up for years. I don't think anything I've read the past couple of days is worse than some shit I've seen from people that have posted here everyday for the past 5 years.
  16. We lose recruits to Stanford regularly...

    Italian

I went to Intero last weekend for happy hour and it was amazing. Had HH specials of a spaghettini dish with grilled corn and sottocenare, a wagyu stuffed parker house roll, grilled carrots, and corn fritters, as well as a non-HH serving of tagliatelle and wagyu. The tagliatelle was actually the only thing I wouldn't order again, too salty. Everything was was sublime, including some really fancy hadmade chocolates. That was one of the best Italian meals I've had in Austin. I'd put it above Andiamo for me.
  18. 100%. KD was a free agent. Kawhi was an asshole.

    Fried Chicken

Yeah, it's a garlic sauce. A strong garlic sauce.

    Damn, that looks good!

    Fried Chicken

The pollo frito at Tropicana on North Lamar is some of the best I've ever had. Half a chicken for $9.50 too. They serve great Cuban food in general. Highly recommend.
  22. We got Whittington. Probably gonna be better than Cain.
  23. I went to Santa Fe for Christmas and had an amazing time. The two restaurants that I would absolutely recommend to anyone are Sazon and Pasquals. Both were delicious and neither was crazy expensive. Meowwolf was also very interesting. We spent four hours there and enjoyed every minute of it. I will say that I thought Maria's was only OK, a lot of the food was pretty bland to me. Jambo was hit or miss. Their black bean curry soup was phenomenal but the goat stew was inedible. The Drury Inn is nothing fancy, but clean and well run, and it's right off the square and the price is right. They have free breakfast and free happy hour too. Thank yous to everyone in this thread who pointed me in the right direction.
  24. I live right nearby Dan's. It is not dangerous at all. I've never seen needles. I've never heard of anyone getting assaulted, let alone seen it. Homeless people never attack children. 90%+ of violence towards children is from family members and family friends. I don't like the fact that there is a damn homeless camp under 290, but you and others like you are blowing things WAY out of proportion.
