  1. Sanya Richards and Aaron Ross are already on that.
  2. Highly recommend Maurten Solid 160 or BPN's Go Bar for a carb-packed granola bar alternative. Also, LMNT prior to or during any longer ride for sodium replacement during the warmer months.
  3. I've been to 14 I think. Oracle is definitely top 3, but I'm biased. I agree that the Nationals stadium is pretty terrible. It just doesn't have anything uniquely appealing about it. Camden, on the other hand, just up the road in Baltimore is an absolute gem. That park really set off the trend of moving parks back into the urban core and making them an anchor for placemaking and revitalization.
  4. Well, fortunate for you HB 2812 has no chance of passing since it was never even given a hearing, and the deadline for getting one has long passed. I'd recommend you stay on top of this issue, though, and schedule a meeting with her during the interim (between June of this year to December of next year). And keep your eyes out to see if she files the bill again in the '27 session. If she does, get involved in the legislative process from the outset. You'd be surprised the impact even one motivated constituent can have on the legislative process if you're committed to being engaged in it.
  5. Didn't know about her, but wiki has informed me that was Clemens, and she was of age apparently.
  6. I'd keep Rose out for the statutory rape of a 14 year-old. I don't think that's getting nearly enough attention.

The Latin word for left is "sinistra." It's the origin of the word "sinister." In Ancient Rome, if you were born left-handed, you were presumed to be evil because you were in the minority. Some of that folklore made its way into more modern times hence the graph above - basically forcing southpaws to use their right hand to fit in with the majority. I'm fairly certain that's what you were getting at.

Because it's a dumb exercise to begin with if it's epidemiologists researching it. Do you need epidemiologists to document the number of "straight" cases we have every year and what can be done to treat them?

Not sure you know that everyone's physical, emotional, psychological, etc. traits and characteristics are on a spectrum yet somehow we're supposed to believe sexual orientation and gender are somehow exclusively binary.

Our DNA doesn't code in binary. There. Solved it for them.

Oh geez, I can't imagine why the numbers would trend up as it's become more socially acceptable to be out as trans. Really going to have to spend hours if not days trying to figure that one out. And we're talking an increase from what 20 to 80 per 100,000. The graph just makes it look way out of proportion.

Trans kids pre-date social media. I'd say stop being obtuse, but that's pointless with you.
  13. Listened to this on repeat when it dropped a few weeks ago. Matt's solo stuff has been underwhelming but holding out hope this next album is way better. This track is certainly a very promising start.
  14. Car Seat Headrest just released The Scholars last week, and it might be the next great rock opera album. Too many tracks to highlight, but I will say the 19 minute Planet Desperation could be a stand alone EP. As it's a concept album, it's best to listen start to finish. There's a lot to unpack with the lyrics and storyline, but man, does this album deliver on all fronts.
  15. Yep, that's Tyler Rogers. He has a twin brother, Taylor, who was also with the Giants the past two seasons. At one point late last season, they had several identical stats.
  16. The rise in autism really isn't a "rise." It's just a more accurate representation of how many people are classified as such given increased detection and a broader definition of the spectrum. It would be like blaming the 300% increase in breast cancer cases to some environmental factor when it's not due to that at all. It's due to better early screening methods and routine mammograms that just weren't a thing a generation ago.
  17. There are some olds in a deep red corner of Iowa who'd strongly disagree.
  18. You had to register in advance for the presale code, and then they texted it 30 minutes before tix went on sale. The codes were all unique - not sure if LiveNation will be the same. I haven't seen any info on that. You could still try getting an artist presale code now.
  19. Just got LCD Soundsystem tix for Emo's on 4/22. And have tix for Japanese Breakfast the next night. That'll be fun. LCD Soundsystem is doing three nights at Emo's. Presale today. General sale is Friday.
  20. February - Austin Marathon (pacer) February - Disney Princess Half Marathon (Orlando) April - Cap 10K (Austin) September - USATF Masters Half Marathon Championships (did this last year and loved it), TBD location December - The Marathon Project (Tuscon) I'll sprinkle in a couple 5Ks and maybe another 10K in there too. Back to the majors in '26 for Boston and Berlin.
  21. I'd rather have Priest Holmes from that '96 conference champ game.
  22. Haven't checked in here in awhile. Lots of inspiring triathlon content as of late. Way to get after it everyone! Did the Indianapolis marathon last weekend, and I highly recommend it. The course is comparable to Houston. Finally got a PR again with a 2:45. I had been sitting on my old PR for almost 3 years.
  23. But on the upside, eggs will be fifty cents cheaper.
  24. The largest political constituency in Arizona is Independents. They just surpassed registered republicans last year. My brother is one of them, and he loathes trump. There are a lot of sensible mavericks in Arizona which is why McCain was so beloved.
