  1. I'm surprised Desmond Howard didn't have any musings on this while taking out the garbage. I'm sure he will get right on that.
  2. I think he's on the Broncos. At least practice squad. I'm not sure how it works if another team wants you from someone else's practice squad. It does seem weird that the Colts feel like their best option is the 44 year old who hasn't played in many years.
  3. OP in May... then at the grad party... Seriously, congratulations!! That is a great accomplishment of which you should be very proud. The tenacity you have shown will serve you well in other endeavors. [csb]My sister graduated from HS 4 years ahead of me and graduated from college 1 week after me. She went to 5 different schools over the 8 years but finally got her degree and ultimately a Masters while she worked. She retired last year in her 50s while my ass will still be working for the next 10 or 15 years.[/csb]
  4. Thikker than Zoo glass. I'm definitely stealing that one.
  5. @NTVTXN in this thread. RIP to Tom Hicks. I used to work with a good friend of his son.
  6. It's performance art at this point. Just appreciate it for what it is.
  7. West Coast / Rocky Mtns / Plains / East Coast generally won't have nationally competitive champions. (Oregon being the possible exception) I think we may end up in world with eight conferences but I hope it would be split a bit more evenly. I would actually prefer five conferences with 16 teams. Let those conferences have divisons or pod that lead to a conference championship. The 5 Champions get auto bids and then there are either 7 or 9 at-large bids. The at-large bids are not promised for anything (conference runner-up, etc.) to prevent a mediocre conference runner-up (Duke) taking a spot. I would just force rank everyone and take the highest rated non-champs to complete the field. ND will either be in a conference or not be considered for the playoffs.
  8. I took @Im_smarter_then_you 's post as a joke, as in OSU wants us in the playoff because they feel confident they can beat us. Maybe I'm wrong, but other than that, it makes no sense for them to take that position.
  9. How FSU looked that year without the QB has been what OU looks like this year. Good D and brutal offense. I'm sure the committee will see the similarities.
  10. Notre Dame should be number 1 in those polls I guess. ha ha
  11. What do Wolfe, A&H and Colley value so much about BYU?
  12. It's like whoever tweeted that just woke up this year and realized that ND gets special treatment.
  13. At what point in the process did you order DoorDash and then pass out?
  14. ummm...
  15. @PTINS All you have to do is type "@" and then start typing someone's name and posters handles start to appear. Pick the one you want and you will have the effect you are looking for.
  16. Semantics, but nothing about that is sexual "assault". He seems like a drunk/high idiot (possibly perv) and she seems like an attention whore/drama queen. Both are likely getting what they deserve out of this situation.
  17. yes, when I wrote my reply to him above I didn't realize that he was simultaneously being a jackass on the game week thread and talking about how biased SEC officials have been IN FAVOR of the Horns.
  18. @RockLobster Don’t get your knickers twisted, Athens would be, at worst, ranked above College Station, Norman and Waco no matter how badly we may disparage it. I was through there a few years ago and really enjoyed my time. Toured the football stadium, and caught a basketball game. Other than your whiny, bitchass coach I like most everything about UGA to be honest. Thanks for the breakdown of local info. Stick around, it’s always good to have non-jackass fans of other teams on the site.
  19. @Chili dog That’s a pretty high bar for a first game environment. I took my 9 yr old to the TX @ BAMA game in 2023 as his first game and he thought it was magic.
  20. On the ratings topic, errbody (Ticket & KRLD) is down from Aug to Sept and then again a big step down in October. Is that typical or is there something else going on? I see these stats when they're posted but don't pay that much attention typically.
