  1. If you get SAD, Denver is great for that. 300 days of sunshine a year. And I've never worn a fleece to dinner in June unless you're in the mountains.
  2. It's been a rough offseason. Not gonna lie. They have to get another ball handler off the bench and get rid of Nnaji's contract.
  3. Especially if they were drafted during a Taco Bell Quesarito commercial.
  4. Not every school in America gets oil royalties, chief.
  5. Make sure you visit Evergreen in winter. It may be close to Denver but it is in the mountains when it comes to weather. Some (including me) love that. But not everyone. It's still winter in April and early May.
  6. I've never had trouble getting in with specialists in Denver. Finding a PCP can be challenging, though.
  7. It was hot as fuck when I was in Santa Fe earlier this summer. But I'm coming from CO, not the seventh level of hell that is Houston.
  8. Yeah, Friday afternoons on I-70 in the summer are a shit show. Combine that with the Floyd Hill construction and good luck. What time you driving up tomorrow? I'd check Waze before you pick a route but 70 will likely be your best bet. Saturdays aren't as bad as Fridays but they can still be busy.
  9. Portugal has a Golden Visa program where you invest a minimum of 500k Euros in Portugal based funds and after 5 years you get residency. Used to apply to real estate but they shut that down as it caused a housing crisis in the popular areas. Spain used to have one as well, I believe.
  10. Little to no homeless in the areas you'd be looking at, but downtown has definitely had problems since the pandemic. City is working hard to remedy that though housing and services.
  11. Man, I just don't get New Mexico. It's just depressing every time I go there. And terribly hot (which may or may not bother you).
  12. I'll echo what a lot of others have said. I think Cherry Creek/Wash Park/Hilltop neighborhoods in Denver would fit what you want really well and you should be able to get something nice (but probably not that big) within your budget. Maybe LoHi as well, but make sure whatever you get has parking if you do that.
  13. It's not a humble brag unless he's paying for it.
  14. For sure. She's at the Peak.
  15. Embiid hasn't played Jokic outside of Philly since 2019. We have no idea how he'll play him in the Olympics. I wouldn't count on him, though. Look at that cheap shot elbow from last night. He's soft and he's dirty. He'll foul out early (again). I think Bam is probably their best defender against Jok.
  16. I'm not a fan of the BMWs, but I think the Porsche and Audi look really nice. I can't decide if I like the MB or not.
  17. Dude doesn't know how to play tough. He's Charmin soft even though he's a 7 foot monster. I laughed when he had 4 fouls halfway through the 3rd.
  18. It's more about getting little to no downtime, IMO. I hope they have very tired legs next year.
  19. Buddy of mine had one of the previous generation of those. Back seat headroom was terrible. It wasn't even a good hauler for 4 adults. It sounded good and was fast, though.
  20. Celtics fans can't be happy about having 3/5 of their starting lineup in the Olympics after a title run. Gonna be a long slog for their team next year. But I'm a huge D White fan, so I'll allow it.
  21. Some of my favorites are his collages. The pictures don't really translate how beautiful they are.
  22. Same artist did both. Pic is from the artist's gallery when we first saw and bought the porcupine. Porcupine is currently in storage waiting for our mountain house to be done. Artist is Dolan Geiman. His stuff is amazing. https://dolangeiman.com/
  23. I'm sure his teammates love it.
  24. Any of you fuckers been there? Wife and I are going in late August. Any can't miss places to eat? Any great places to stay?
