  1. Kawhi, Paul George and Patrick Beverly give the Clippers a stout group of defenders three players who made the all-nba defensive team multiple times. This is probably the biggest shocker of the off season not so much the Clips signing Kawhi, but adding Paul George out of the blue.
  2. Hard to believe the Thunder traded their best player they're not making the playoffs with Russ/Adams....no fucking way. $15 million a year for Danny Green? WOW! That is insanity during the regular season he was a marksman but he vanished in the post season.
  3. If this thread goes on another 400 pages will it break the interwebs?
  4. Matt and Corey can shred.
  5. The Spurs desperately require some proven talent on the front court. Golden State could use Marco's shooting to help fill the void left from Klay's injury. I don't recall reading anything mentioning Boogie being a bad team mate or problematic in New Orleans /Golden State, perhaps he's grown up a bit and in addition to that this off season has humbled him? Just several seasons ago he was a 25/13 player, yes I know he suffered a major injury, but what do the Spurs have to lose by rolling the dice on someone as talented as Boogie? Despite the injury he was still better than anyone outside of LMA/DDR last season. Boogie can shoot and actually make threes in addition to being a menace in the paint. If he doesn't pan out the Spurs wouldn't have really lost anything. The market is nonexistent, if the Spurs can obtain him for a price tag similar to what GS paid last season why not? Boogie at the 5, LMA at the 4, Rudy at the 3, DDR at the 2 and Derrick White or DJM at the one and that is an infinitely better lineup than what the Spurs rocked last season and there would be a solid bench too.
  6. I'm always down with some Howard Jones. He's allegedly going to appear in a song or two on the new Killswitch Engage album as well.
  7. Are the aggy going to turn on Jumbo after they finish 7-5 this season or will they chalk it up as a moral victory because of their schedule? The slate for 2020 is laughable for the aggy. They have Colorado as their marquee OOC game and they finished over .500 in the PAC once. Abilene Christian because SEC teams love FCS punching bags, North Texas and Fresno St along with the mighty SC and Vandy from the East. They might have a legit shot at winning 10 games with a bowl unless they go full aggy.
  8. I'd be okay with Marco for Boogie. To say there is a logjam at SG is an understatement. You have DeRozan, Marco, Forbes, Patty and Lonnie at SG. Marco's expiring contract is appealing trade bait as well, he'll be off the books completely next season. The Spurs have a strong locker room and a hard nosed coach, Boogie would be kept in check.
  9. Denver is going to be very good again, quite possibly the #1 seed in the west. Portland had a nice off season. The Jazz have a pretty solid roster assembled. Houston is a toss up, it could really go either way. I'm just basing it off how things presently stand. If the Lakers pull a shocker and land Kawhi they're the unquestionable #1 in the west with Denver/Portland fighting for #2.
  10. Prior to Free Agency the Knicks were 45 to 1 odds to win the title. Fans weren't the only ones laughing at the Knicks, today they plummeted to 150 to 1 as the odds makers laugh their asses off as well.
  11. James Dolan should go ahead and sell the Knicks. Take your billions and go home. The Knicks are an even bigger joke and laughing stock than the Lakers have been. Everyone is laughing at them and their excuses after they whiffed on their targets.
  12. What's left for the Knicks? Pay Boogie 30 million a year? Everyone knew they were going to strike out on the big guns.
  13. This is exactly the way I expected free agency to go down, the Spurs had practically zero flexibility. Rudy's contract isn't a back breaker, the Spurs have two true wings on the roster which they lacked last season and the young talent will continue to develop. I'd expect the Spurs to move Marco or Forbes for a big if they can't sign one with the MLE. I did see several projections of Green back to the Spurs on the MLE which I wouldn't complain about. No high expectations for 2019-2020, maybe a 5 seed at the highest?
  14. Octane pushes Fever 333 hard, just can't get into them. I liked one of their songs that I heard, but that was it.
  15. My favorite Lamb of God song strays wayyyy away from their typical style. It's a song called The Duke that was created as a tribute for their fan named Wayne who died from cancer. Randy actually sounded pretty good with clean vocals, the first time he's ever done that.
  16. Unfortunately you're probably right, they'll likely fetch more than the MLE. Morris would fit in perfectly and Green has developed into a decent player, either one would strengthen the roster. I'll just hope the Spurs can add a viable big with the MLE.
  17. Marcus Morris or JaMychal Green would be nice fits with the MLE. LMA at the 5 and Green at the 4 would be a nice combo they'd compliment each other's skill sets.
  18. In other news Killswitch released a new single. A new album is dropping in less than two months.
  19. Were you aware that the producer of Korn's self titled album also produced Roots (Which is a bad ass album as well along with producing Slipknot's first two albums) and Max has spoken about how Korn's self titled album influenced Roots which is widely regarded as one of their best albums? If you're jamming one of the biggest metal albums of the 90s just remember who helped play a role in shaping that sound. I like Sepultura (and soulfly) so not sure what I should be cleansing?
  20. Only aggy would create a tshirt to commemorate such an occasion.
  21. You either love Korn or you hate them there's no in-between, we all have our own unique tastes and Metal has countless sub genres. Korn was the only metal band to ever experience any consistent success on the boy band/pop artist/hip hop dominated TRL and enjoyed so much success to the extent that the MTV execs had to invent a rule that required a song be retired after so many weeks on the countdown to get them off the air so they could push their marketable music down your throat. Long live Nu Metal!
  22. Houston fans defended the signing fanatically last season on this board. It didn't work out very well for them, if Melo remained on their active roster for the entirety season I doubt they would've won the Southwest division because they improved dramatically once they rid themselves of that washed up cancer.
  23. Guess who's back with another new album? Doesn't have the wow factor of Rotting in vain, but it's a decent track. This album was sooner than I expected after Jon Davis released a solo album last year touring extensively to promote it along with the death of his wife.
