  1. It seems you've missed a lot more than Taylor Hamm info over the last couple of years.
  2. Yes, in the video you can see the umpire pointing at the batter as he's rounding the bases so whatever he said must have been beyond normal trash talk. The batter was actually suspended for taunting but obviously it's hard to say if that would have happened without the pitcher laying him out.
  3. So Elko doesn't understand the Fisher recruiting system. After working for him for 4 seasons. Hopefully that poster is smart enough to be obliquely referencing that Elko doesn't have the same cash backing to buy players.
  4. Holy shit. That is genuinely embarrassing. Not having any of those programs ranked would get an AD tarred and feathered in Austin. Meanwhile for Texas: Football: CFP as #3 (football "Final Four") Volleyball: Final Four (#5 last regular season poll) Women's soccer: Sweet 16 (#18 lost to #1) Men's cross country: #6 Women's cross country: Unranked (WTF get it together) Men's basketball: #19 Women's basketball: #5
  5. *who went If you're going to try to run t-shirt fan smack at least appear to have a high school diploma.
  6. Please realize that when you claim that one team is definitively more talented than another because of recruiting rankings, you are outsourcing your analysis to internet high school recruiting $9.95 "experts." Some of those guys are good at evaluating talent. Most of them are terrible. Yes in the long run you want the higher rated prospects, but if you have a staff recruiting players only because they're higher rated you will end up a shitty team (hi Jimbo!).
  7. Yes, the reason is that the song was written before the OU rivalry became the main rivalry. Pretty simple. Like you.
  8. This is a stupid post and you should feel bad for making it.
  9. For those who don't follow, the ladies joined the men as our volleyball team made the Final Four by beating Stanford in their house in a regional final tonight. Texas is in both fall Final Fours. 🤘
  10. Ladies obviously realized potential Directors' Cup implications of a Texas vs. Stanford regional final.
  11. 🤘 So awesome. Great job 'Horns! Just an incredible all-around display. 🤘
  12. I remember a game my junior year where our talented punter had a 5 yard punt and a 75 yard punt (in the air, not with the roll) in the same game based only on which direction we were facing. After that first punt into the wind neither team punted that direction the rest of the night.
  13. He has already passed up on a lot of money in his very brief career. There is zero chance that New Balance was the most lucrative (or more relevantly the only absurdly large) endorsement offer he has received.
  14. Does he really make that much off the field in the USA? I've seen one New Balance commercial and he has always seemed super private (which is absolutely his prerogative). This contract is such a huge amount of money if I were Ohtani one of my first thoughts would be that I never have to be in a commercial again.
  15. It's possible he has an account but pays for an add-on module that considers the intended audience.
  16. Update: he didn't understand the difference between Trey and Dante.
  17. Subject clarification is free but a content review will cost you.
  18. Well considering the post he quoted was exclusively about Dante Moore with Moore being the antecedent for all three uses of a third person singular pronoun I'm going to guess Dante Moore. Either that or GTJ1982 doesn't understand English.
  19. That's scally-sized. Maybe he runs a 4.1 40 and a 3.7 shuttle.
  20. It's times like this that I wish @Bruh Man were still around to explain how this is all part of the perennial championship contending program that's being built in College Station.
  21. Crocs were (maybe still are) cool for parents of 3 year old kids who don't want to deal with trying to tie shoes on the little asshole just for a quick run to the store. So in that sense they're cool. Not any other senses. Adult size crocs should be illegal.
  22. The durability is a very small part of it even if the teams talk about that to placate fans. The reality is it started with the Broncos churning out one 1,000 yard rusher after another by picking up backs off the scrap heap. In the NFL you're looking at 10-15 yards per game that an elite running back will add in value over a replacement. Not an average back, a replacement level back. I agree that it's higher in college because of worse defenders on average along of course with the higher player population necessarily lowering replacement level, but the value just isn't there. Moving from average to elite at running back isn't worth the squeeze if the effort is approaching the same as doing the same at QB.
