  1. Yeah, the last time we went we opted for in town and did the shuttle but that was long before kids. Don't think I knew there was even a lot of lodging on the mountain but maybe there is now (it's been ~ 20+ years).
  2. Do you guys stay on the mountain or in town? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

  5. This was the only Utah thread I could find. Booking a ski trip in Feb/Mar and was looking for some surly input between Park City or Deer Valley (yes I know there are much cheaper spots in Colorado). Used to go to PC/DV in my youth but it's been 35+ years. With small kids, we like to try for ski in/ski out if possible but more importantly would like to be somewhat near the ski school (6 and 8 yr old). I'll be skiing with my older kids but just wanted something that wasn't too much of a hassle at end of day, dragging the little ones out of ski school and hiking a mile or a lot of driving. Would also be nice to be near restaurants/pubs on Main but I think both resorts are somewhat close to that. Looks like there are some great homes/townhomes near some green runs in DV but not super close to the ski school. I'm not certain where the ski school is in PC but looks like mostly hotels/condos in that area. Appreciate any advice...
  6. This would make more sense if they were in steiner...which based on the halloween invite, that might be the case.

  9. we were discussing Bregs over beer lunch and how Dusty can't really move him down the order or swap with Yuli. I get it, especially in an NL park. Went back to look at some #s thinking it was just the last 2 years of playoffs struggles. Looks great in the ALDS from 2018-2021. Here's what career ALCS's and WS's look like: 47 games .178 batting avg .281 slugging Hell, I don't think he had an rbi in the ALCS last year. Hopefully my numbers above are way off or I'm drunk but I spit up some pumpkinator after seeing. yeesh

  17. UT change the water bottle policy? I think they used to let you bring in 1 sealed bottled of water to game, I think. Maybe that was just baseball.

  19. Has anyone used the at home rapid tests with any success? I guess you'd only know if you followed with a PCR. False negatives is a problem I hear

  23. Yep, this basically. It's doable, we did it for an 8 yr old over xmas break, really sucked for the kid but isolated and wore masks. 5-6 yr olds might be tough but it's doable as well, assuming your kids are well behaved and listen,ha. Which I get is rare for any kids these days, especially elementary age...
