  1. The guitarist was Spencer Davis and the song was “Gimme Some Lovin”. One of the reasons I enjoy this thread is watching the videos of Russian shit burning. Never gets old.
  2. Are we talking Steve Winwood as a member of a group (Spencer Davis, Blind Faith, Traffic) or as a solo artist?
  3. Have followed the topic (on and off) since Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov declared, "There are no plans or intentions to attack Ukraine” in January 2022.
  4. Occasionally, I stick my nose in here as the info in this thread re: the Ukraine-Russia conflict is infinitely better than the info anywhere else on the planet. Slava Ukraini
  5. It’s like WWII with the Russkies throwing men and materiel at the front.
  6. Everyone knows Jerry West was a prolific scorer, but he was just as adept as a passer. West could change the flow of a game at will. A team player who played hard on both sides of the court. He never flopped, was humble, and refused to even dunk a ball. A classy guy all the way around. Godspeed, Jerry.
  7. With GERN’s blood cancer drug, Imetelstat, being approved last Thursday night by the FDA for the indication of MDS requiring transfusion, GERN’s growth via a BP partnership and/or buyout are the paths from here.
  8. GERN +.41 to $5.
  9. Can we haz two wins in a row and, maybe, possibly build a little momentum?
  10. GERN’s blood cancer drug, Imetelstat, was approved by the FDA. GERN +.72 to $4.61. Holding 6,000 shares of GERN at $3.19.
  11. And make it a slow and painful death.
  12. We B kicking ASS.
  13. Damn it. You’re supposed to tell us before this shit happens.
  14. Whazzup with that? I thought aggy was all about turdition.
  15. Walton was the best all around center I’ve seen at the college level and he was on his way to making that same mark in the NBA before the foot injuries derailed his career. Scoring, rebounding, passing, and blocking shots. When he was healthy there was nobody better.
  16. I was reticent about sharing my addiction with alcohol, but confession is good for the soul and I’d read enough on this thread to know most or all of you have been where I am. I’ve quit alcohol several times only to relapse. However, the abuse was nothing near the descent of this most recent episode which began in mid-September of last year. I feel pretty good today and we’ll see if that trajectory continues. Thanks to each of you who has offered help. I know you’re there for me if I need you. One day at a time, sweet Jesus. One day at a time.
