  1. Not gonna lie, this was a first for me. Felt pretty damn good.
  2. Wordle 241 2/6 🟩🟩🟩⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  3. Pos rep for owning it and also for the handle and photo from one of my favorite shows.
  4. Naoch. Steak. Beans. Jalapeño. Even some fancy guac for the super bowl.
  5. Trash/Recycle day was yesterday. There is literally nothing else in this recycle bin besides this giant box from one of her stupid meal/smoothie delivery services.
  6. Gordo took a shot at Joe Buck and Troy took offense big time.
  7. Both Bob and Corby did mic checks live on air during two different hang zone segments. Then, after being told they were on the air in the middle of a segment Bob continues by asking Blake how he sounds and what they need to do. Fucking morons.
  8. We’ll, I’ve never wiped my ass with butter but I guess I’ll try anything within reach at this point.
  9. Josh: Who’s that? Toby: That’s a walking lawsuit.
  10. SAM: Who wrote this intro? SCOTT TATE: I did. SAM: You're from NASA Public Affairs? TATE: Yep. SAM You mind if I give it a polish? TATE: Is there a problem? SAM: No, it's great. You mind if I change it? TATE: I'd prefer if you didn't. SAM: Just the same... TATE: The Public Affairs has cleared the text. If it's gonna be changed, I'd prefer that the President change it. SAM: See, that's kind of what he pays me to do, so... TATE: Look, I don't want to step on your toes. You don't want to step on mine. We're both writers. SAM: Yes, I suppose, if you broaden the definition to those who can't spell. TATE: Excuse me? BARTLET: [reads] "Good morning! I'm speaking to you live from the West Wing of the White House. Today we have a very unique opportunity to take part live in an extremely historic event which..." Whoa, boy... SAM: [waves and smiles] How you doing, Mr. President? BARTLET: Who wrote this intro? TATE: I did, sir. I'm Scott Tate from NASA Public Affairs. BARTLET: [gets up and shakes his hand] Scott. "Unique" means "one of a kind." Something can't be very unique, nor can it be extremely historic. C.J.: While we're at it, do we have to use the word "live" twice in the first two sentences like we just cracked the technology? TATE: Look... C.J.: We're also broadcasting in living color, right? BARTLET: Sam? SAM: Yeah. BARTLET: [to Tate] He's gonna make some changes. TATE: [following Sam] You're going to clear them with me? SAM: I doubt it.
  11. Just went to listen to some stuff I missed from the day on the top 10 podcasts. Who the fuck is putting that together these days? 5 HL segments, 1 Musers segment and nothing from The Hang Zone. This is some bullshit.
  12. This is absolutely my favorite show of all time. I am pretty much always in a loop of watching it going to bed at night. The comedy really works from Sorkin too. Like Josh talking about this building being a serious place for serious people, and then crashing to the floor as he tries to sit and his chair is missing. “I got the fuzzy end of that lollipop” is an underrated throw away line that I use all time.
  13. Somehow Bob worked with Dan. I don’t know if he was actually better back then and has gotten worse or I just ignored him more because Dan and Jake or previously Donny made it good. But this iteration of HL with Bob, Corby and extra Danny is unlistenable. I immediately shut it down after WTDS.
  14. I’m quite interested in the chili being served alongside a waffle.
  15. I miss Koko and more specifically fake Koko the caller. He was good.
  16. Yes. A poor man’s Matthew Broderick when he was younger. Another guy who I kinda thought would have a more successful career.
  17. The Hang Zone is the best show on the station and Dan is hilariously talented. Your opinion is wrong and you should feel bad about it.
  18. The queen ain’t no bitch, she got all the moves.
  19. Well, she was 21 in the Rocketeer and 39 to Scar Jo’s 25 in He’s Just Not That Into You. That’s just how time and younger pussy works. I think the moral of that movie is that is must be pretty fucking nice to be Bradley Cooper.
  20. It’s like we’re playing a game of chicken to see who can leave the least amount of toilet paper left on the roll, and if you change the roll you lose. Except, she’s the only one playing and I always lose.
  21. I’ve also found this to be extremely helpful when cooking to different temperatures. It’s pricey for temp probes, but I got it for Christmas and love it. Meater Block
  22. I recently heard her use the phrase “chester drawers” to refer to a dresser, or what a normal person might call a chest of drawers. Even after I lovingly explained how wrong and stupid that is, she persists in thinking that is an acceptable phrase to use in front of other adult human beings. Unbelievable.
