  1. She was delivering Hot Pockets?
  2. . . . and yet there's a Maudie's a quarter mile away. Still not the best choice in the neighborhood, not by a long shot, but . . . Chuy's? We used to white collar the happy hour at that Chuy's because the work ladies and their friends all wanted to go there. Alrighty, we'll follow.
  3. Don't forget Chuy's!
  4. Oh, she's definitely thinking of a wrongful termination angle. That guy may be a skeez but she went over the line. Sorry you got fired, honey. You deserved it.
  5. Still, new lease on life. Congrats!
  6. Any of those banh mi joints sell their baguettes? I'm always on the lookout for better-than-grocery French baguettes. Easy Tiger is OK.
  7. We stayed on 37th between 8th and 9th a couple of years back -- not a lot to see but it never seemed "sketchy" walking around, even after midnight. Hope KB's friend is right and that he's good.
  8. That baby's parents may be anti-vaxxers, but the story clearly states the baby wasn't old enough to be vaccinated. In this case, the smoking gun is the declining adult vax rates in MS leading to more pertussis in circulation.
  9. Maybe someday. It's a Tribute ASAT, I'm sure Ronnie's is a step up (ASAT). Take his guitar and swap the green body for a semi-hollow in slightly translucent off white and that's mine.
  10. I'm Team G&L, that's my main guitar (semi-hollow Tele). I really love the look of Ronnie's, though.
  11. They probably swapped it out for a Trump 2028 flag.
  12. It appears that Emily could mix in a salad now and again, too. Beyond that -- I want Ronnie's Tele. That thing is perfect.
  13. I'm happy to see MTG's recent shift in perspective only because it's helping to fracture the Republican party. Anyone who thinks she is being more honest with herself now than she had ever been before is a fool. She's a political animal who goes with the wind, she has no moral compass, no decency, and no intent to do anything beyond staying in power.
  14. I had a Matchless 15 watt Lightning. It was a damn good amp, so of course I sold it, because (and this cannot be emphasized enough) I'm an idiot.
  15. Yeah, that was the right call. Love that the announcers have no idea of the rule -- in play is different than on the sideline, right Matt? Jesus. Nice job on the FG, 'bama. Yeesh.
  16. Ty Simpson caught him a case of Carson Beck.
  17. This is the answer. Also, fuck OU.

    Burgers

Love Workhorse. Great burgers, great bar. Food prices took quite a jump recently, but it's understandable.
  19. Surely the skeptics now agree that Kyle Field is the most intimidating venue in college football.
  20. That's in GEORGETOWN? Holy shit. I need to start a spreadsheet and prioritize all these places. That one's going at the top of the list.
  21. First thing that comes to mind:
  22. I respectfully disagree. Doing nothing ensures a good number of "innocent" people suffer, and it fails to clearly demonstrate the true differences between the left and the right. If I feed a few people, regardless of political stripe, there is a chance some who supported Trump and believed his false characterizations of me & mine will learn the truth. Some. Not all. And please, let's leave the hypercynical "sweet summer child" and "bless your heart" responses out of this. I get it.
  23. Well, a lot were pretty small towns. I have a huge collection of college coffee mugs . . . somewhere (storage?) . . . I made it a point for years to drop into college towns while on driving vacations and pick one up. As an example, I'd rather live in Northfield MN (St. Olaf) than B/CS by far. Then you add in all the "big city" college towns (Boston, SF, etc.) and the Aggies are so far out of their league it's laughable.
