  1. Great episode. Conrad is a useless blowhard. Kevin is just useless. If Kevin is smart enough to know Maeve ordered the bombing you have to think Harry is, regardless of what Conrad is saying. I think this may come down to a Maeve/Eddie alliance vs a Harry/Serraphina alliance. How many times has Conrad said 'It's not Harry!'? Definitely makes you think Maeve is going to be pushing the Harry is the rat narrative. Characters that are too dumb to survive: Jan, Kevin, Conrad Characters that are too smart to kill off: Harry, Serraphina, Maeve Maeve and Eddie are so contemptible. That's good casting, writing and acting.
  2. Additional context. Every time my kid played, the seasons I coached and others, he wound up on a team of "randoms". Many/most of the other teams in the league stayed together and moved up together. The coaches all had complex systems that the kids had been running for years. So his teams sucked every year, including the most of the years I coached. Mercied many times. That was a decent part of the reason it was not super fun.
  3. Good luck. I coached basketball for both my son and daughter, baseball (son) and flag football (son). Flag was the worst. Yet somehow I coached 3 separate teams because other parents knew it sucked and no one would step up. My first year was 2nd/3rd coed. It was the only year we had a decent team, yet during one game - a loss, not coincidentally - I counted EIGHT kids on our team that cried. No exaggeration. Only 1 of them was a girl (she cried every week). My tip is coach them to use the sidelines on defense as a defender. Do not be that kid that chases the other team to the sidelines and then allows the ball carrier to cut back. My kid was particularly good at doing that. Everyone wants the ball, everyone wants to play QB, and then when they go 3 and out or throw a pick, they cry. Especially Mary Jo. I'd do it again, though, those are some good and funny memories. Coaching hoops and baseball on the other hand was a blast.
  4. Yeah. The only part that sort of jibes with the show is I'ma hit your business if for momentary blissness. Like you said the rest is just word salad that rhymes. But I also like it. Will Harry go all Lalo Salamanca and single handedly down an army of cartel assassins? I suspect yes. This show is a really fun watch even though you have to suspend a lot of reality. I like the call of Harry turning for the Stevensons. Interesting thought Prepuce.
  5. I thought it was fine. I am not shocked that I read this thread 4 days later and people are complaining about how unrealistic shit in the zombie show is. What I am curious about is if somehow Ellie is passing her immunity to the fetus via rigorous scissoring. (Non video game player)
  6. He's definitely nice. He had some shooting woes last year post ASG that were related to I think a wrist injury and a lot of folks held it against him. He is also one of the top shit talkers in the league, which can be pretty fun. He has guys on absolute skates these days, no one can stay in front of him. If he's hitting from outside he's... Really good.
  7. Scotts weed and feed commercial blonde mom in green shirt would get it.
  8. Shaq with the Richard Dumas shout out. Respect.
  9. My personal preference would be to watch Steph play ball as long as possible but I tend to agree. Wolves are a bad matchup for this team. Six games sounds about right.
  10. If you want me to put something in for you legally on FD feel free to PM me. You can venmo me.
  11. Lol. The Avengers, Senior Citizen Brigade.
  12. Is Paul the guy that Harry targeted who was sleeping with Vron? (would) Saw earlier someone said Eddie had Joffrey vibes - bang. Great analogy. What a little prick. This series is fun.
  13. I know the Thunder are really good and I don't watch them as much as I watch other teams, but -900 is wild. 4-1 more than twice as likely as 4-2. Sweep almost as likely as 4-2. Damn that's some respect.
  14. Wow, Vegas doesn't think much of the nuggets chances.
  15. "RV Harvey" Progressive spot Concept: 8/10 Relevancy to Product: 7/10 Execution: 6/10 This Guy: 14/10
  16. Kerr probably needs to think about sitting the old guys. They ain't coming back.
  17. This series is over.
  18. Detroit's best and only 3 options in that situation are Beasley, Cade and THJR. Getting Beasley and open shot was by far, like really far, the best option given the way the other two were shooting tonight. I'm just saying if I had known in advance they weren't going to make the shot, Cade is the guy I want thinking about it all off-season if I'm the Pistons.
  19. Beas is their 6th man. He comes in cold shooting like a lunatic every game. But yeah watch the play, double is converging on Cade and Beasley is wide open. Wide open. Hit him in the shooter's pocket and the ball just bounced off his hands out of bounds. Watching the presser now. Malik is a stand up dude. Also says in 9 years this is the most fun he's ever had. I live in Detroit. If you're having fun here in February and March, I admire you.
  20. But the one dudes wife was named Bruce.
  21. It was the right play but in retrospect it would have been better to have Cade miss it so that he can go full Rocky montage this offseason.
  22. To be clear both of these teams have levels that they need to ascend to become true championship contenders. Like fucking levels. When you lock in and watch Championship level teams playing at Championship levels in the finals, it looks nothing like this series. I'm paying more attention to the Detroit side of things but it's certainly true for NY, also or they would have won this series in 4 or 5 games with their talent level and experience compared to Detroit's. You cannot just lose people repeatedly on defense and be expected to be a championship contender. You cannot repeatedly not box out and give up uncontested put backs. To your point, you cannot make terrible challenges that have a low chance of success. Long way of saying if Boston is healthy I think they will roll NY and JBB is fine for now. I'm not sure he's a guy that takes you over the finish line but he's done a great job with the current bunch. I see no reason to change coaches.
  23. Lots of whimpering coming off of the anaesthesia. Very tired now. Please leave that incision alone and don't make me put that cone of shame on you.
  24. I'm looking forward to the inevitable theatrics between Rudy and Draymond. Assuming GS can close it out. Shaq... 🤣🤣
  25. Quentin Post's face is too small for his head.
