  1. I'm not saying I like it, but what I am saying is that you are definitely wrong. There are ad campaigns that make me want to go out and murder gypsies.
  2. Glad to see you back. Sorry you are going through this. I do not have any opposable thumbs to donate to you but I do know a Semi retired kick ass prosthetics guy if you want to travel to Detroit.
  3. Congrats to you all that won a Championship. It's tough sledding these days now that all of these kids are using the same analytics that I am.😂😐
  4. If Jennings can score 5 TDs in the last 10 minutes here I'm going to win this MFer.
  5. Who even thought we need to bring caveman back because he was so effing hilarious the first time around? Insurance commercials are so terrible. Almost as bad as Discover.
  6. I wasn't going to win starting ETN and Blackshear. I would have at least liked to have a chance going into tomorrow with Jennings but the fucking Bengals didn't take a knee when they should have in regulation and then missed the FG when they did in OT. Every time Joey B came back with a score and put up a 50 piece. Bummer. I will take the free $1600. More and a trophy would have been nice.
  7. Down goes Chuba. Looks like I will be starting Mike Boone and Travis Etienne for the championship. 🙄
  8. Ok. Fair. But is this still something to consider if I would never use the cooling component? It just doesn't get that hot here and I have a basement for drinking beer alone when the need arises.
  9. I have a 23 4 door Bronco as my daily driver. It's fun but I'm not sure it's what you're looking for. Mine is the twin turbo and it eats gas like a mfer. I bought it with a hard top and have bought a factory soft top for the seasonal swap. The swap is not easy and is not a one man job. The hard top is 4 pieces. Two "t top" panels which are very easy to remove and put back on. A larger middle panel which is cumbersome and a little heavy but I've managed to get it off by myself. The rear piece that sits over the cargo area is a 2 person job though they do make overhead lift systems if you have access to a garage that can make it a one man job. With the soft top on, the main advantage is it's very easy to put it back and forth to position 1. To take it all the way down you have to remove both side windows and the rear window but it makes it a full on convertible. Doesn't take more than a couple of minutes and it is a one person job. The soft top is way noisier and I wouldn't want just a soft top on the winter here or in the summer if I lived somewhere very hot like Arizona or TX. If you have any specific questions let me know.
  10. Can you link me to the type of mini split you're referencing? I see some small ones on Amazon, not sure if that's the ticket. The one they installed in the addition is a major piece of equipment - it's almost the size of a regular furnace. I would be way, way out of my element trying to set something like that up.
  11. This has happened twice. The addition was completed last winter. It got very cold once afterwards, which is when we identified the problem, had the plumber/builder/insulation people come back out to "fix" the problem. I discovered last week that it was, in fact, not fixed. I definitely got the faucets dripping trying to thaw them and prevent refreeze. I was hoping for something a little more permanent going forward.
  12. Ha if I needed AC in the garage in summer I probably wouldn't be having this issue. I am in Michigan. Thanks for all of the suggestions. I am looking for least invasive and cheap yet safe. Running an electrical heater to a 240 is still the leader in the clubhouse. I remembered last night that when the plumber came out that ran the lines when they froze up last year, he thought that the area that was freezing was likely the area above the garage ceiling and below the floor of the addition. Something about drafts getting in there. I'm not sure how accurate he was but he definitely knows more about this than I do. There's no way for me to reach that area without completely tearing out the garage ceiling and that is not happening. I've been through hell with an 18 month remodel that ended in May so I'm done with anything that resembles construction for a long time. Hopefully heating the entire area below and above would be enough if it is indeed that area in between that's freezing.
  13. I normally cook mine on the rare side of medium rare. This one I took to 129 @ 200 before I pulled it, cranked the oven to 525 and blasted for 9 minutes. I think that I think now that this cut is a little bit better when it's more on the medium rare + side. It was very good.
  14. He also has a broken left hand and hurt his right elbow on Sunday. I'm less than convinced. Probably prudent to try to pick someone up considering he's the only QB I have rostered and my opponent can cock block me as I'm out of faab budget.
  15. I would think so. Both have been getting double digit targets. It occurred to me tonight that if KC wins tomorrow and clinches homefield, Buffalo does not really have any reason to play Josh on Sunday. That would be a massive kick in the nuts. I'm adding Bryce Young and Maye tonight.
  16. Is it a PPR league? I like Ladd, Brown and JSN.
  17. I'm not tearing that wall apart and putting it back together. The odds of my builder doing it without a lawsuit being involved are none to none.
  18. My fiancee has us watch this every year during December lol She likes the noodles with syrup scene, doesn't she?
  19. LeAnne posted a new update to Help Mark Heal: Overcome a Life-Altering Crash Hospital is planning to send Mark home even though he isn’t ready. Hoping we can afford home health as my insurance is up at end of the month.
  20. For reference when they had the wall open. They're pex and they did insulate them. The other side of this wall is a half bathroom. Just past the pipes is where the front of the house "ends".
  21. The wall mount option is definitely interesting. Maybe because I've been running this gas buddy but how hot does it get? No fire hazard? I have some garage/industrial shelving in front of that area now that would sit pretty close to that wall and I would worry that someone would put something too close to it. Foundation is poured wall for a basement and yes the wall that they ran these up is a foundational wall.
  22. I'm having an issue with some pipes that were run inside my garage wall that go up to the new addition master suite above the garage freezing. I've already had my useless builder send his sub out to put more insulation in the wall and that didn't solve the issue. The plan now is to figure out the best way to heat the garage for the few times a year when temps dip into the teens and single digits. There are a number of solutions out there, from natural gas to electric. I have been using a propane gas buddy and it's not great. I'm currently looking at some ~ $250ish electrical units that run off of a 240v. I would need to get an outlet installed, probably another 3-400. Anyone have any recs or experience? Trying to keep this cost effective. I don't need heat in the garage for any other purpose.
  23. I made the final. If you had told me Allen was going to score 15 points and we were going to make the final due to outstanding performances from Chuba, BT Jr and streaming the Falcons D I would have called BS. Just need to get lucky one more time to win the coveted Tomahawk.
  24. Found it. https://bsky.app/profile/coachspeakindex.bsky.social/post/3ldvtlvq4vc2n
  25. Whoever was asking about Miller, just saw something on social where the interim coach said in his presser on Thursday that it would be a committee approach with Jamaal Williams and the 3rd string guy. Take it fwiw. Google the quote because I can't find the post anymore.
