  1. Loving this so far. Question. How frequent were the bombing missions to the individual pilot? For example, in EP 1, most flew their first mission. What would be the normal time to Mission #2?
  2. They are 12-8 still play TN twice, at Bama, at Ole Miss, at GA, + a couple of other games they'll be favored, but could lose. They will also incur a loss in the SEC tourney. I don't think 12+ losses get them in. They're currently 10th in the SEC.
  3. True. But as one that doesn't think RT is it, you can't fault going 2-1 against #9, #11(on the road), and #21 on the road.
  4. I still stand by my previous post. Doesn't making the tourney essentially boil down to: 1-6 finish in the Big 12 = in 7-8 depends on the Big 12 tourney. Everyone else out unless they win the auto berth.
  5. Did I miss something about the camper? I thought it was a tryst-mobile to hide the relationship. In an area that probably has .001 people per square mile, he sets it up smack dab in the middle of a trailer park? No 24/7 gossipers there. I guess I'm going to have to watch The Thing this weekend. Oh. And thanks @mdleast for the YouTube vids. Very informative for those that miss the obvious. See Sentence 1.
  6. Heck yeah. I've listened to the really long podcast about WWI and the one about the survivors of the ship that sank during WWII/sharks. I've been thinking about listening to another one, so I'll take your rec.
  7. You took the words out of my mouth. I'm sure most of it - as it applies to me - has to do with age. Other than watching Luka when he's having a game in the zone, it's hard to watch.
  8. Lol. The success of the Rangers (finally) is putting more focus and stress in the other, shitshow, Dallas teams.
  9. Or, what was that 50's or 60's sitcom with the fort and the indians (Native Americans). I used to live that show on Nickelodeon
  10. The first half of 1883 was decent. The 2nd half was some of the worst shit I've ever seen on TV. And I rarely pick shows apart. I I just try to be entertained. I don't mind Yellowstone for what it is - an updated Dallas.
  11. I thought it was weird that Foster showed up at the end of the hockey game her daughter was playing in; however, as the camera panned, there was a giant Christmas tree in the middle of the rink. Also, when does everyone use the bathroom?
  12. What's up cuz. I, too, am related to Cynthia Ann. I can take it one step further. Davy Crockett himself (Fess Parker) is in the same lineage. His mother was apparently a pain in the ass at my parents' wedding in 1969.
  13. In being on the spectrum, I have a hard time seeing gray areas. Therefore, I compartmentalize. Here's the way I see it. And, I'm not trying to change anyone's mind so don't @ me. Make it to the Round of 16 - he's our guy. Barely miss the tourney or lose in the round of 32 - he deserves another year. Flame out, finish in the bottom 3 of the conference, no tourney sniffing - make a change.
  14. Don't worry guys. It's going to get better. Political ads are about to start up. 🤮
  15. I've been using AI to train teachers at PDs in my district. I'm astonished at how helpful this tool can be in the classroom. I feel like there's probably something out there that I don't know about that returns better search results. AI? I'll give a couple of quick, specific examples. I worked at a pretty popular Mexican restaurant in Knoxville called Cozymels, while putting my wife and myself through college post-Texas. It was open from about '97 to '05. In the mid 2000's, you could find tons of pictures related to the place. Today, it is damn near impossible to find anything related - even when using very specific terms. There has to be hundreds, if not thousands, of images taken in and around the place. Shouldn't anything within a public Facebook account and pictures tagged with, "Cozymels" in the description show up? Another example. When I was a kid, we used to go to Lake Brownwood frequently as we had family in Brownwood and Comanche. I distinctly recall easily finding pictures of the park at Lake Brownwood which had a huge fort with a multi-story net you could climb. I recall finding multiple pics of this park 10-15 years ago. Now... nothing. I guess I'm just wondering if I'm missing something re: search engines or, perhaps, the dead internet theory is real.
  16. How much time was left per this call? I watched the last minute or so and didn't see it.
  17. I never did get my phone. I think a lot of this has to do with instant gratification and audience. Sure, if Texas wins a MNC, it's great to get a magazine with the team on the cover 5 days later; however, by that time, I've probably read every, single article on the team. Additionally, I never really cared about 90% of the content. I'm not going to sit down and read about the Chargers' linebacker or UConn's women's basketball team - even if it's free. These days, I'd rather obsess over chicken fried steak and bewbs.
  18. Yep. Used to drive me crazy when we'd have these games and play 31 year-old, MLS retreads over the youngsters. Zardes, Nipple, Roldan, Lletget, etc...
  19. When I arrived in Austin in '91 for school, I had no idea there was a Dallas/Houston rivalry. I learned quickly. 30 years later, I never would have imagined rooting for anything in Houston. That being said, I hope y'all win the Super Bowl. There. I typed it. No takebacks. Good luck today.
  20. Out of all that, I'm laughing at the "lack of depth" statement more than anything. Other than interior DL, I'd say we have as much depth as anyone save, maybe, GA or OSU.
  21. Came on here to post this. I don't recall much about Alive other than the overall plot. This movie - geesh. I like to think I'm tough enough to survive some things, but I'll never be "1972 Uruguayan rugby team stranded in the Andes" tough.
  22. Too late. I'm still scarred from the, "Let's make out under a tornado" scene.
