  1. One of my buddies (from here) is a UT & Texans fan, we were hoping for that Michigan/UT natty, but it would be awesome to see a Lions/Texans Super Bowl. I feel like I always hear about how shitty the Texans' ownership is, but I am glad to see they have it on track. Imagine trading up to Pick Bryce Young over CJ.
  2. Nah, he has earned it. He took michigan from the abyss and built the program back and got a natty. If he stays great, if not thanks for the turnaround. I still think he will stay, just based on the fact I don't think NFL teams really want to deal with the weird side of harbaugh + the amount of money it would cost to get that weirdo.
  3. I am just enjoying the ride after how shitty the lions have been for so long. With the game at home next weekend, there is a legitimate shot that the lions are playing in the NFC championship game and that itself is absolutely wild. Would love a rematch of the season opener if they shock the world and make a super bowl. The chiefs look more beatable to the lions than the ravens do. Just based on their games this year.
  4. Dude, he was insane. It's been awhile since I was repeatedly yelling "cover that fucker" at the tv. They didn't listen to me though.
  5. If you need a team to root for this playoffs, the lions are it.

    2024 NFL DRAFT

I think Penix is going to be a journeyman backup in the NFL. He will have enough talent to hang around for a few years as a developmental guy and his arm is good enough to make throws if forced into an emergency situation. I do not see him being a starter though.

    2024 NFL DRAFT

The rumor around here is that it is either the chargers or Michigan. I guess we will see if the chargers put their money where their mouth is. Harbaugh will make 15 mil a year with Michigan if he does any of the following (beat O$U, Win the b1g or make the playoffs. So the Chargers are going to have to pay at least that to get him to make the move. Will chargers ownership pay 15 mil a year? Or will they take the cheap coordinator route and pay 5 mil a year.
  8. Cade is an alright player but I feel like this is another year that the pistons are going to win the lottery and then get a meh player. I guess having the pick of all the meh players is better than dropping to 5th or 7th like they have been doing
  9. It was against the pistons though. Doesn't count. First time I watched a game since the opener. Wemby is fucking insane. I would literally give up Cade, Ausar, Ivey and Duren for him, and the next 2 first round picks. Fuck it, I would give up the entire pistons team for him and every draft pick til 2030.
  10. Giving saban a loss in his final game is a real cherry
  11. yeah I guess that is the saving grace for the 12-1 conference runner up who crushed everyone but lost in their CCG. They will get any fluke champs in the second round, after their 5/12 matchup. The more I think about it, the more I don't love going to 12 teams. There is going to be some years where there are like 3 teams that have no business being in the playoffs and they are going to force matchups for the top teams to play well before the semi finals. I mean this year, Liberty obviously, but also Penn State would have been absolutely smoked in the playoffs. Ole Miss is a decent team, but come on. Same with Mizzou. 8 would have been plenty
  12. Dolphins fan kills a guy. WTF is going on these days. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39279807/bills-fan-killed-dolphins-stadium-sunday-game
  13. Fair enough, but also. The nicest hotel in AA or Detroit is also not the nicest hotel in LA or NY haha. $600-700 a night is a lot different than $2500 a night. If you want to have the coach swing out to White Lake and scoop me on the way I will take a the lumps and shit talking you guys can give.
  14. I am assuming its a noon game..... so that puts the hurt on a late night in Detroit. But yes, Detroit is awesome these days.
  15. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/35391913/2023-way-too-early-college-football-top-25 Michigan 3 FSU 4 Bama 5 UW 11 Texas 16
  16. I am probably still deep in the feels after Monday, but wanted to share this. It is really well done, and starts with a highlight that most of you around here will enjoy. (bet you can't guess what it is haha) A good way to spend 23 minutes. It gets a little busy at the end with all the different audio coming through, but damn if college football isn't great.
  17. Damn, that is deep. Glad that he got to see them win it all though.
  18. I imagine that the pac2 is not going to get a bye next year. I thought the top 4 was the top 4 conf champions? Meaning they couldn't put 3 SEC teams in the top 4 on years where they have a ton of depth.
  19. I don't think that is going to happen.... But even if it does, the NCAA can't take away the way I felt Monday night, or Tuesday morning, or now. Fucking Champs Baby!
  20. Looks like the Bell Tower is already sold out for Texas weekend. You may be able to call them and book one of their upgrades suites that aren't offered on the website. I have always wondered if they actually book rooms as literally every time i search for rooms they are booked.
  21. Coming in from Detroit traffic is going to be a bitch going to the game. 94 has a bottle neck right before the stadium exit where 23 also joins the party. So I would recommend staying in Ann Arbor if you have the option. This is probably the best option but would book it now as every time I have checked it has been sold out. Literally on Campus so you can walk to everything once you are there. https://belltowerhotel.com/ I have never stayed at either of these places, but I have eaten at Weber's a handful of times and it has been great every time. https://www.webersannarbor.com/
  22. They were talking about this on sports talk this morning. No chance that Michigan or Ohio State rest players for the CCG, so does that put them at a disadvantage compared to teams not playing a true or meaningful rivalry game. If Oregon is 11-1 and already locked up for the B1G championship game, you would think that they would rest players knowing they are in the playoffs and that a win in the CCG gives them a bye, rather than playing for seeding. I don't see The Game ever being moved off of Thanksgiving weekend, but there would be some benefits to playing it in early October instead.
  23. Michigan plays 2, 3, 5 and 11, that is before they may play in the CCG. Going to be a tough season.
