  1. Fangio switched teams nearly every year (and once even mid-season) to be in the best car. He was obviously a great driver, but he somehow is immune to that same kind of criticism. I feel that with time more people will come around to Lewis. Also, basing things on one race in a vacuum on a really weird simple circuit is a bold strategy.
  2. Turning Point in DFW is incredible too, but they do not distribute.
  3. Got damn! Williams strategists putting Merc to shame. Those new tires at the very end worked a treat.
  4. Yeah, replacing them is a huge PITA and it isn’t really worth it these days. Parts cost a little more but the labor is less, and you get new bushings, too.
  5. Ahh, gotcha. I’m still on my stock lowers (at 130k), but I do want to replace them whenever I get around to having the Icon coilovers rebuilt. I am running JBA uppers now, and they’ve been solid. I like the special bushings they have that allow easy greasing without them trying to push out from the arm. They also have grease-able and replaceable ball joints.
  6. The stock upper and lower control arms have no serviceable fittings, though. Were yours replaced at some point?
  7. That helmet cam view was sweet.
  8. The Predator bars do suck. You can get some rock sliders that either bolt or weld on that have a step built onto them. Then you get good double usage out of it.
  9. What lift? Also we’re there a decent amount of miles on it before the lift? May be the upper control arm bushings.
  10. I went and looked and it looks like I had the Weatherbeater line, which seems like it might be the cheaper product of the two. The X-Act Contour looks to be the nicer product. That one is probably comparable the Weathertech.
  11. Weathertechs are great. I had Husky before and didn’t like the more slimy feel of the material, but that may be different now.
  12. I think it sold out in like 3 minutes.
  13. I agree. That is one of the things I like about my FJ. It was made in the Hino plant where commercial trucks are also built. I also think that the Japanese-built Toyota stuff really is one order of magnitude better built than the Toyota-USA stuff is.
  14. It was. You can see it mid-flap in the second to last photo. It was being loud, too. Little bastard.
  15. Yeah, I freaking love Rhett’s videos.
  16. One of y’all needs to get a Serus. https://www.novoguitars.com/serus
  17. It came and went since no-one bought it.
  18. I watched this Kite for a while. I realized that mom and dad were bringing it food (cicadas). This juvenile actually looks relatively similar to a juvenile Cooper’s or Red Shouldered.
  19. I like the TFL guys a lot, especially the off-road stuff. Similar to Papadakisracing, Ryan Tuerck’s channel has some cool stuff. The “Formula Supra” build is incredible (Judd V10 in MK5 time attack Supra). Richrebuilds Dennis Collins - the “Coffee Walk” videos are great, every Friday. And SOME of the Donut Media videos are cool, but that main dude James tries way too hard. Jeremiah is cool.
