  1. Put $25 down on Texas/App State ML parlay to win $2,022. Yes. 2022.
  2. Aight, telling myself this is my final card: Boise State -16.5 @ New Mexico Wake Forest-13 @ Vanderbilt U56.5 Mizzou @ Kansas State WVU -13 vs Kansas U49 Wash St @ Wisconsin O67 Tennessee @ Pit U56.5 MTSU @ CS U56 Akron @ Michigan State Notre Dame -20 vs Marshall U64 FIU @ Texas State U46 BC @ VA Tech BYU -3.5 vs Baylor
  3. And why? Was recently asked the question. Honestly, and probably sadly, I've struggled to come up with a good answer. Feel like some posters have probably answered this in random threads but might be cool to have a consolidated list.
  4. I know it's not unprecedented but it does feel weird seeing this kind of optimism out of CTJ. I fucking love it. Mudhole Bama and let this post live on in Shaggy/Surly lore 🤘
  5. I'm liking Wake Forest -8 and O59.5 at Vanderbilt. Wake brings back 4 O-lineman, their QB, and a good chunk of skill guys from an offense that ranked Top 10 in the country in most overall stats. Vandy made a little noise beating the shit out of Hawaii but I think we now see how awful and depleted that team really is. Re- Hawaii, They got their asses handed to them this week by WKU and Vegas has Michigan as 51(!) point favorites over them this week. Back to Vandy- while returning a lot, they had one of the worst pass defenses in the country last season. I suspect they'll be a little improved but they still let FCS Elon put up 31 points, including 333 yards through the air on 19/32 passing. This Wake Forest offense should absolutely torch that defense if I had to guess. EDIT 2- wow, my nose was on the right scent. I was referencing the lines I'd pulled this morning from ESPN. Since then, It's gone from -8 to -12.5 and O59.5 to 66: I'm indifferent on this one now probably.
  6. Remember seeing something like that on Silicon Valley:
  7. Solid weeks for y'all, keep those picks coming. Went 8-9-1 this week. At 11-10-2 on the year (logging my picks below). Hot takes after quick look at Week 2 opening lines: Notre Dame -20 vs Marshall. I jumped on this one already... I have a feeling it moves up. Was in Columbus to see ND's defense look pretty damn good and I doubt Marshall shuts down their O. WVU -13 vs Kansas. That's all? I know Kansas has a lot of players coming back. But are they really sticking within 2 TD's in Morgantown against a WVU team that just hung tough on the road at Pitt? Doubtful. Were there a bunch of injuries I missed? Boise State -16.5 @ UNM. BSU did not play well last week on road at Oregon State. I think they are getting dinged a little hard for that here. UNM was a bottom 10 team last season and are gonna rank 100th+ in returning production depending on whose metric you use. SP+ had Boise at 35th coming into season (now down to 58th) and UNM has gone from 125th to 108th after beating up 6-5 FCS Maine.
  8. I got Clemson -21 but also under 51 total points. I’m sweating a little bit…
  9. 95% of 12 year olds playing NCAA/Madden would manage the clock/game better. I can’t decide if he’s a bigger pussy or dipshit
  10. Great kids from great families.
  11. In on the under, took Clemson at -21 live. I know the score of last years game and know DJ sucks. But surely they put it together, surely.
  12. Took U51 in Clemson GT. Just added Clemson -21 live thinking they get it together. But shit… DJ seems to have a case of Hudson… so indecisive, even w clean pocket and guys seemingly open down field.
  13. I don't even play fantasy football- that was a joke. Note to self- do not share stats on this board if they aren't 100% predictive. They do not offer valuable context or information whatsoever.
  14. How do you think I've won 4 consecutive fantasy football championships, dickhead?
  15. You’re no doubt correct on the sample size. And while there isn’t a off-target count listed on there, based on my understanding of their grading process, it’s something that would be baked into that overall grade. And yep on TTT. I hadn’t even looked at that. Consistent with eyeball evaluation that Card just held on to the ball for far too long.
  16. I’m not saying it’s some perfect end all, be all but this is a bad take. Did you say same thing about WAR and other sabermetric stats when people started referring to them over batting average, RBI’s and pitcher wins? It’s an attempt to grade every player on every play using an objective, consistent system. It no doubt has issues and we are talking about sample size issues with Quinn’s grade but I wouldn’t throw it out entirely.
  17. Yeah… no. Not hitting your open receivers in stride on short / intermediate routes often prevents any chance for an extended or explosive play. It’s the difference between okay and good/great qb’s. There were several short crossing routes that Quinn put behind receivers. And not because he was throwing to their wrong shoulder to keep away from a defender or protect his receiver. He just missed. I’m not complaining about his performance- just offering a possible reason why the PFF grading seemed low which I think is probably fair. I’m highly confident he becomes good to great on those types of throws very soon. He also made some NFL throws which is in support of that opinion but you can’t just ignore the bad throws.
  18. SIAP but PFF passing grade for Ewers. I wouldn't take too much away from them yet but not great. Small sample getting dragged down by two turnover worthy plays (TWP) and my guess is also getting dinged for quite a few completions that seemed to be a little off target. For comparison sake: Hudson 2021: Casey 2021: Casey 2022:
  19. Might just need to put myself in timeout and tail you this next week. That’s an awesome week boss!
