  1. Just busting balls. I'm not taking the other side of that strategy.
  2. Texas 41 WVU 31 RB Total Yards: 275 Yards I've talked about him elsewhere but gotta go with my ~25 year old cousin Jeff. Quit high school in April of his Senior year because he "didn't see the point". Married a girl (incorrectly) named after a winter month. Think they've separated and gotten back together probably 4 times. They spent their honeymoon at the water park in Oklahoma City... sharing a hotel room with her mom, her sister, and her sister's two kids. He's had about 15 shitty jobs in the last 5 months, each one ending because he got screwed somehow. I don't know where I'm going with this other than yeah, he's pretty interesting to hear about. Avoid actually seeing him at all costs though.

  4. Thinking a ra ra speech from a fan is going to flip a switch is hilarious. I'm also not saying that one from one of our A-listers is any better. Nobody from the outside is lighting a fire under their ass in any meaningful way.
  5. Yes. Please send ztejas to give the pregame speech. I’m sure you’ll be able to see the moment of clarity on their faces when it finally clicks.
  6. You mom sure doesn’t have a hard time getting around
  7. “I personally am struggling to stomach this loss today. This shit rips me apart. It tests me spiritually. I hate it to the core of my being.” - Ztejas in his tantrum thread 30 minutes ago. Lol. Okay, yeah I’m the one taking it too serious.
  8. you sure didn’t seem to believe it when you started your tantrum thread. Jfc, call it a night dude.
  9. JFC what a bunch of dramatic fucking pussies in here. Shit loss. Let’s fire our couch, nuke our class, have a bunch of players transfer out and hire… oh we don’t know. Shut the fuck up you fucking pussies.
  10. Those times are hand timed / he wasn’t carrying a ball so answer defaults to whichever guy posters can remember looking fast on tv.
  11. Pretty cool move by Surly / @immamac. Are lap dances considered within reason?

  15. How are appeal decisions typically announced? By league or school? If latter, I could see scenario where we already know and Sark isn't saying either way out of gamesmanship. It's ridiculous if we really don't have an answer yet.
  16. I think Demarion said it best in his IG post today:
  17. Donovan Smith appears to be ass when you can dial up some pressure.
  18. Feeling pretty great about the improvement in our pass rush so far. Last season PFF gave us the 115th ranked team pass rush grade. Up to 19th this year. I went and looked at it on game by game basis and the improvement is impressive. We doubled our pressure % from 37% last year to 74% this year. Even more impressive, we generated pressure on Alabama on 59.5% of passes which would have been the 2nd highest rate of any game played in 2021 (Rice was at 81%).
  19. I peaked at lines last night and had same take on TCU, KU, Texas, USC lines. No super strong conviction on the others. You feel strongly on Tennessee? I'm having hard time getting myself to them beating Gators by 11 just knowing how one sided series has been. I know that doesn't make a shit and Florida looked like ass last week, I just can't get there in my head. On betting Iowa O/U, feels like betting over is the equivalent of trying to throw deep when your QB sucks ass but they're stacking 9 (or 10) in the box on you. 35.5 is such an absurdly low line. Dating back to 2003, of 14,889 game sample, only 10 games have been at that O/U line or lower. Offenses have to be putrid for that line to be put out in the first place so I guess it shouldn't be shocking that 7/10 of those games hit the under. Neither Iowa or Rutgers has shown me anything to feel strongly on the Over, that's just such a low total I can't help but question it.
  20. Just to stir some shit up... https://www.teamrankings.com/ncf/odds-movement/ats/results/ Teamrankings.com has historical line movement dating back to 2008 season. 11,583 games. Largest movement from opening to close was 8 points which happened only 14 times. This would miss a scenario where a star was injured in the previous game as that injury is presumably baked into opening line of following week. So dating back to 2008, there hasn't been an instance of a player being unexpectedly unavailable after opening lines were published that resulted in more than an 8 point swing.
  21. Looks like #15... are we sure that's not Will Stone though?
  22. Texas- 48 Tech- 31 Receivers- 235 yards
