  1. Wtf did I just watch
  2. May recheck your calculation
  3. Great kids from great families.
  4. In on the under, took Clemson at -21 live. I know the score of last years game and know DJ sucks. But surely they put it together, surely.
  5. Took U51 in Clemson GT. Just added Clemson -21 live thinking they get it together. But shit… DJ seems to have a case of Hudson… so indecisive, even w clean pocket and guys seemingly open down field.
  6. I don't even play fantasy football- that was a joke. Note to self- do not share stats on this board if they aren't 100% predictive. They do not offer valuable context or information whatsoever.
  7. How do you think I've won 4 consecutive fantasy football championships, dickhead?
  8. You’re no doubt correct on the sample size. And while there isn’t a off-target count listed on there, based on my understanding of their grading process, it’s something that would be baked into that overall grade. And yep on TTT. I hadn’t even looked at that. Consistent with eyeball evaluation that Card just held on to the ball for far too long.
  9. I’m not saying it’s some perfect end all, be all but this is a bad take. Did you say same thing about WAR and other sabermetric stats when people started referring to them over batting average, RBI’s and pitcher wins? It’s an attempt to grade every player on every play using an objective, consistent system. It no doubt has issues and we are talking about sample size issues with Quinn’s grade but I wouldn’t throw it out entirely.
  10. Yeah… no. Not hitting your open receivers in stride on short / intermediate routes often prevents any chance for an extended or explosive play. It’s the difference between okay and good/great qb’s. There were several short crossing routes that Quinn put behind receivers. And not because he was throwing to their wrong shoulder to keep away from a defender or protect his receiver. He just missed. I’m not complaining about his performance- just offering a possible reason why the PFF grading seemed low which I think is probably fair. I’m highly confident he becomes good to great on those types of throws very soon. He also made some NFL throws which is in support of that opinion but you can’t just ignore the bad throws.
  11. SIAP but PFF passing grade for Ewers. I wouldn't take too much away from them yet but not great. Small sample getting dragged down by two turnover worthy plays (TWP) and my guess is also getting dinged for quite a few completions that seemed to be a little off target. For comparison sake: Hudson 2021: Casey 2021: Casey 2022:
  12. Might just need to put myself in timeout and tail you this next week. That’s an awesome week boss!

  18. I've spent a lot of time thinking about this one. I'm probably trying to build a case around my fairly uninformed bet but this is what I've come up with. X-Factor here is Minnesota bringing back Kirk Ciarrocca as OC. He was in same position at MINN from 2017-2019 and was also Fleck's OC at WMU from 2013 to 2016. Look at Fleck's teams PPG with Ciarocca (2013-2019) and since (2020-2021): 2013 WMU- 17.2 2014 WMU- 33.8 2015 WMU- 36.0 2016 WMU- 41.6 2017 MINN- 22.1 2018 MINN- 28.9 2019 MINN- 34.1 2020 MINN- 27.3 2021 MINN- 25.5 He comes back to right the ship. Of note, QB Tanner Morgan is in his 6th year and will be leading the offense. Look at Morgan's year over year decline within the offense and notice what he did in 2019 (Ciarrocca's last season calling plays): They only return one O-lineman which is concerning but I have to think they will be able to hold their own against NMSU. Their #1 WR and best RB are both back so there is skill talent there. Here's to the over on this one and Fleck bitch slapping Jerry in public.
  19. “See babe…I told you it wouldn’t be like what you thought. Lot of normal, smart, funn-" "Muledick?" "Oh hey, Derka.. meet my gf”
  20. Travel logistics are obviously a challenge. No clue on if it would ever happen or not but if it did, I don't see recruiting being an issue. Woman's roster size is 17, assuming men's would be same. UT / Austin seems like a super attractive option to recruits considering half of the 54 programs are tiny ass colleges you've barely heard. Just based off RPI, it appears talent flocks to the prestigious / brand name schools in cool places... shocker:
  21. From AVCA: https://www.avca.org/maps/college-mens-programs.html
  22. That would be fucking awesome. Would it make sense though? Looks like there are only 54 men's indoor programs, solid amount of schools I've never heard of, and the closest on a map is... Grand Canyon?
  23. This is great. Will they play at IM sand courts or is there a better spot I'm not thinking of? No clue if they could be brought up to the quality needed to host an event but it would be pretty fucking cool if they could host a tournament at Zilker with skyline. I know they built up stands around courts at Krieg for AVP Open in Austin.
  24. In. Let me know if you didn't receive Paypal.
  25. We will know we are living in some sick, fucked up simulation when new Texas HC Garry Patterson hires his buddy Jerry Kill onto his staff.
