  1. It's the stereotype of the typical elder Toyota/Lexus owner, especially if they've owned several generations of those vehicles. They may follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance intervals, but stretching a turbo-4 to 10K intervals isn't ideal. Only recently has Toyota modernized their powertrains, where most were NA, combination port/DI, and could go the distance on longer oil change intervals. I'm not convinced TM has fully "kaizened" all of these new lines, with the rough start they got on the Tundra/Sequoia/LX600 and Tacoma, for metal shavings discovered in engines to failing transmissions and broken aluminum front diffs. Lastly, I find Toyota owners are the types who don't actually care about cars. Searching for the Jay Leno quote on that one.
  2. Well, blacking EVERYTHING out doesn't exactly help to determine WTF model it is (or what the wheels look like) from a distance greater than 10'. I like some contrasting features of my car.
  3. The only new Lexus models that retain their 5-liter, VVTi V8 are the LC500 and IS500. Everything else is some combination of their 2.4L DI, turbo-4 and hybrid powertrain. Further, Lexus is endorsing 7,500-10,000 mi oil change intervals (synthetic) on these engines. I wouldn't feel comfortable about buying any used Lexus unless the owner was a fanatic about the car.

Something briefly noted in ep 6, when Angela is speaking with Victor's family law attorney before signing the decree:
  5. I also fondly look at OU's football performance preventing Alabama from scoring a touchdown for the first time since 2011, which bounced DeBoer from the playoffs, whom largely inhereted a far more loaded roster than what he had the prior year at UW.
  6. Which conference sends its officials for these on-campus rounds?
  7. Not sure which game you were watching, but UGA knew Quinn has nearly no mobility and sent their linebackers up every other down
  8. Longest drawn out OT of death I won't care to watch
  9. Gotta have far better, quicker footwork to beat them over the middle when they send their linebackers like that. Quinn is not it.
  10. Throw over their blitzing asses
  11. Engineer a clock moving drive
  12. Shouldn't that fuck be hobbled? At least slower?
  13. Some rig12 flags so far
  14. Limp wrists / Okie inspiration; either way, not novel.
  15. That's simple ball security coaching. Let him sit in a session with coach Choice or something. Aside from that, I'm glad he found the confidence to scramble for the sticks, something he attempted three times tonight and we otherwise hadn't seen in ages.
  16. Russia DOES intent to take all of Ukraine-- not just for land resources, but also naturalization of its people and technology The war of attrition which the Biden admin aided to has already permanently damaged Russia's economy to a wartime mode and it can't return to a peaceful productivity- sanctions and trading partner relationships are toast. China is absolutely in-tune with what Trump's admin will support and very well may make a move on Taiwan during his term. The time is almost now. Trump's attempts to broker peace will be ignored by Zelenskyy and perhaps even NATO allies. Putin will take the bait (wink wink) if it leads to reduced sanctions and his opportunity to stabilize his economy while allowing the military to recover- then they push westward again. Potential wildcards: Trump's admin is properly briefed on the greater details of our conflict and take a hard line at his peace brokering deal. If, in fact, he is ignored or denied, then perhaps Trump ramps up military supply in a 'go get your shinebox' type response. Trump is influenced to continue aid because the military-complex checks are too good to ignore. The Northrop Grummans, Boeings, Raytheons, and Indiana munitions factories won't be so happy about winding down production when they had greater support from the Biden admin NATO steps up to steer conversations in our absence; watch for Macron's advising Erdoğan inserts himself (as we all knew he would) among the peace talks for his interests at a convenient time when the Caucuses fracture more and look to him for their protection
  17. Ha! I was at Choppers for the Moo State game watching party. That's a nice alum setup, even if the drive to Cherry Creek is fucked. I'll be up in Larimer Co., hopefully by the summer.
  18. Had to have been a hold on 71
  19. e.g., fuck the Brocks
  20. This is painful; someone mute Pat's mic Badass shot of the tower and the sky finally cleared up
  21. A couple pops on Michigan early, then winning the 2nd half run game on OU against two defenses that might have started with a more disciplined DL and LB group than UGA's [to this point].
  22. Saw the Drugs/National show in Denver last night. No Texas dates, had to travel, was worth it. I need a deeper Drugs set list or solo tour. No Harmonia’s Dream or Living Clean, but I’ll take what I can get. The National performance made me a bigger fan than I thought I was.
  23. I can’t be convinced Milroe is anything more than Jalen Hurts. Maybe sprinkle in a little more panic on this version.
  24. Thing is, Venables had gametime analysis on Arnold in the Alamo Bowl, where JA posted a QBR of 58.6, with 2 TDs and 3 INTs to Arizona. That he never turned the corner through practices or spring ball is telling.
