  1. How much consternation will there be about DT and kicker in this one?
  2. "Welcome, Mr Cooper. We assume your travel accomodations were satisfactory? Good, good. Here is your bleach blonde white woman to enjoy during your stay."
  3. “Shedeur is not in play at 3; Shedeur is not in play with the New York Giants as far as I’m told,” McShay said. “Shedeur didn’t have a great interview with Brian Daboll in a private visit. An install package came in, preparation wasn’t there for it, he got called out on it, he didn’t like that. Brian didn’t appreciate him not liking it." Oh man, this is going to be the sweetest of downfalls to watch happen. I hope he goes ape shit and Deion is all over the media slamming the coaches and offensive linemen. I hope this makes Manziel's downfall look like a cake walk. Outside of politics, there's no worse humans in the country to root against than this shit family.
  4. "The face of A&M men's sports in the 21st century."
  5. You do realize there's 21 other starters, and dozens of backups, on the team other than QB, right? Plus there's different levels of coaching staff. Look at what Ehlinger had to work with, what coaches he had, and compare to what Ewers had. It's like saying someone is a great driver because he did better in a race with a Ferrari compared to another guy driving a minivan. Ehlinger had a team and coaches so full of "don't give a shit" they left his ass alone on the field for the playing of the "Eyes" in the cotton bowl.
  6. He's not better than Ehlinger. But other than that, the previous 10 years aren't the bar anymore. The day that NIL was instituted, the portal opened, and an army of Texas money came in to give Sark the ability to build the best defense since national championship game level teams the entire program changed. Quinn was solid in 2022 with what he had. He was solid in 2023 with what he had. He was below average in 2024 with the greatness he had around him. And twice he was in the semi finals with the ball, and potentially the game, in his hands inside the 15 yd line. And twice he failed to deliver. Once the NIL and portal hit that no longer became good enough at the QB position for this program. The bar is raised to the heights of the best programs in the country. Being a solid college QB won't get it done. This program has greatness all throughout the roster now. It needs it at QB. I do not know how Ewers will fare at the NFL level, but as has been pointed out for months now, he has a ton of holes in his game that doom QBs at that level. The NFL draft proved that out. Hopefully he does improve a ton and stick in the league for a while, but none of us should hold our breath for it. He's a 7th round flyer on a practice squad spot. Now it's time to look to a better and brighter future with sustained NIL fueled success and hope Arch can deliver where Ewers did not.
  7. This just gave me the idea that the only way to potentially get these maga fucks to turn again each other is to set up an army of fake maga social media accounts praising everything trump. Then go find these real maga people who have been harmed by Trump bullshit and just slam them as worthless, useless, pieces of shit. Make them feel like maga are attacking them.
  8. So apparently Butler and Niblett didn't go in the portal? Or no one is going to confirm or deny until the 48 hour window is up?
  9. So respond like you did. But no one is ever going to tell you that you were right and they were wrong. That doesn't happen. People will stick to the dumbest of ideas and stupidest of decisions (look at Washington DC) for life just to avoid admitting they were wrong. So rub it in and move on. It's fun
  10. He had a top rated defense and 22 draft picks in '23 and '24 carrying him. He wasn't Ehlinger out there trying to do it with only a couple of dudes that would even be drafted. Sark, PK, and the defense raised the bar. The QB and offense lagged. It's time to for that to be corrected in 2025.
  11. That's just kind of the Internet. I've been calling out Ewers here since the 2023 season when he just wouldn't take the next step and wasn't showing improvement. People shit all over me for it. Blacklab bans me about once every month or two. Who cares? It was obvious to anyone who could put aside the homer blinders that the guy wasn't improving, and especially this 2024 season where he held the offense back a ton. Everyone wanted to believe he was the perfect 1.000 rating QB they were told he was. I wanted to see him develop into that guy and win us a national championship with the best defense in the country this season. He never did it. We ended up being right. So just bring it up, take some shots, and move on. No reason to get upset about it.
  12. Talk about a dude that should have come back to put a 2nd year of SEC tape up.
  13. Run game. He just can't anchor against the run. Neither did Connor at guard, but in the NFL he'll project to center.
  14. He's under investigation for rape or sexual assault or whatever you want to call it. He's radioactive right now. No one wants that.
  15. You missed Hayden Connor
  16. I never heard this, was it just off-season training with a dedicated QB coach? In 3 years under Sark he never improved much. Not sure if due to injuries or something else, but everyone improves under Sark. That had to be a giant red flag to GMs
  17. They'll pick up another UDFA QB for camp. Quinn will compete with that guy for either a 3rd QB spot if one of them really shows out, or a practice squad spot. Don't be surprised if he's cut loose completely in August. 7th rounders don't make the 53 very often.
  18. He's right. I don't know if he would have made $4 million, but it would have been a lot bigger than the non guaranteed contract and likely training camp cut he's going to get now.
  19. No kidding, he turned down several million dollars to transfer to enter the draft. Dude thought he was going to 2 rounds most likely, and instead he's going to be fighting for a practice squad QB spot for a few hundred thousand dollars as a 7th rounder. Several people were saying he needed to transfer to maximize his earnings because he just isn't a QB the NFL takes high round pick chances on.
  20. "This helmet's amazing" "What? Fuck man, you can't do that, we'll get sued by Notre Dame" "Ok ok. Just stretch a black jock strap over it and paint Iowa on it"
  21. i fully expect the FBI to arrest an NFL GM any day now
  22. Gabriel is much more polished (should be, he's several years older) and could step in quickly into a backup role like Penix did in Atlanta. Milroe is benefitting from Jalen Hurts. He's big, he's fast, he's strong, he throws a great deep ball. I doubt he has the mental side that Hurts has, but a team will always fall for measurables. Ewers has poor measurables, an ok arm, is always injured, and can't move well. That's just a disastrous recipe for the NFL.
  23. Yeah, but a team can easily cut a 5th or 6th rounder no problem. Happens all the time. Cutting a 1st or 2nd rounder sets the franchise back. It's why no one talks about 5th rounders being "busts" Sanders will never be a long term backup. He doesn't have the humility, work ethic, and head down team first nature to do it. I think Ewers could be that if he keeps his head on straight the way Colt did and Sam appears to be doing.
  24. Major props to Vernon, the surprise of the 3rd round. Gerry and Bobby were thinking he'd be maybe late 5th or 6th. 2 straight years we put 2 starting DT in rounds 1-3. Big time love to Kenny Baker who had a major hand in these 2 going 2nd and 3rd round. While a lot of the Surly recruiting "experts" said he was shit 12 months ago.
