  1. That, and it undercuts the assertion that Ford concocted this lie as a political stunt to keep Kavanaugh from being seated on SCOTUS.
  2. And Trump/the GOP senators are cowards for reducing to let the FBI investigate the claim.
  3. I never said that they were reliable enough to be admissible in court proceedings. You would know that if you could/chose to read words and understand their meaning.
  4. Setting aside the absurd irrelevant Cruz comment (becUse he’s about to make his move)...you would agree with me that they should also have the better, more experienced individual question Kavanaugh too, right? I really hope they aren’t so ill-advised as to have her only handle Ford’s examination.
  5. Bless your heart. Point me to where that case hold that polygraphs have zero probative value? You do an excellent job of proving that it is not admissible, which no one has claimed otherwise.
  6. I kinda feel like I should be able to hold my senators accountable for their words and conduct, but that’s just me. Also, the willingness to bring in “independent” outsidelegal resources to aid in the SJC “investigation” seems tough to square with “fuck no we can’t have the FBI address this allegation.” And again, I REALLY want to know if the same attorney will question Kavanaugh.
  7. I agree with the importance of the actual questions asked. The issue I was addressing was Iconoclast being the latest graduate of the Rocko School or Law, Wikipedia Campus. I will say though, that it’s disingenuous to assume as fact that “if they were legit questions...”. Of course, if you subscribe to that school of thought, then it would follow that only a credible person would DEMAND and FBI investigation, and that MORE witnesses be involved.
  8. I think that the two entities are unrelateda that this website is not a medium of communication for the Federalist Society. I could be wrong though.
  9. Still waiting for your citation in support of the assertion that “SCOTUS has ruled that polygraph evidence has zero probative value.”
  10. If I were Ford, I wouldn’t testify either at this point, ESPECIALLY if the senators are going to personally question BK, but not her. If I were her attorney, I would show up, read my statement, throw around a ton of copies of my polygraph results, and then throw up deuces. Kavanaugh is going to be confirmed, because either he is innocent, or because the process is being rigged. There is no purpose or upside to her participation in the shit show. As far as the general public goes, her appearance isn’t going to convince anyone that won’t feel the same after hearing her statement or seeing her go on 60 Minutes.
  11. So they are afraid to ask the questions, because they do not feel that they are able to do so without fucking up? They are probably correct in that assessment, but that’s an indictment in them and not anything else. Also, where is Crusher, who earlier called us morons, insisting that Ford was insisting on the outside counsel option instead of the Senators?
  12. Have any of the GOP’s who sit on the committee given an explanation for why they refuse to ask the questions of Dr. Ford. Follow up: Will BK also be questioned by the same outside counsel?
  13. His thread is an abortion now, but I just want to jump in and point out how chickenshit it is for the senators to refuse to do the actual questioning.
  14. It’s one fucking day.
  15. That has not a thing to do with who requested the female outside counsel option, which is what we were discussing.
  16. What if...they don’t let her go second, but she shows up to testify anyway? Any conclusion to draw from that? You definitely are making some with your presumed scenario.
  17. The fuck are you talking about? Ford WANTED TO BE QUESTIONED BY SENATORS. The SJC is the party that requested female outside counsel. Don’t just make shit up.
  18. Explain.
  19. Disagree. POTUS has told us a million times that the Failing New York Times is nothing but fake news. He wouldn’t base a decision on more false reporting by that worthless rag.
  20. This isn’t a court/legal proceeding so your question is pretty irrelevant to the issue at hand.
  21. Pretty much the way I see it. And that’s exactly why I think doing 60 minutes AND releasing the polygraph results now would be the move to make.
  22. If Dr. Ford is not going to be able/choose to testify, she should just release her polygraph results. Would not matter in a court of law, but let the GOP senators explain at town halls the nuance of the Daubert line of cases, scientific certainty, etc.
  23. Doesn’t the mistake of fact have to be objectively reasonable? I haven’t run into the issue, so I honestly do not know.
