  1. No shit. Also, how many turnovers did Sterlin Gilbert commit?
  2. All of this and the fact that Gilbert had a grand total of one season to implement and get the players familiar with the stuff.
  3. * hoarse
  4. Let me guess...you aren’t saying that the op-ed was written by the USC student. You are “just asking questions”, right? So, are you saying that some USC student came to the NYT, said, Hi, my name is...and this is an op-ed I wrote...and then the NYT published the article written by a college student, pretending to be a senior WH official?
  5. That's way more common than it should be. The Oakland transit cop and Oklahoma "volunteer deputy" or whatever made the same error. Every cop I know (which is quite a few) can't fathom how someone could fuck that up. They carry the taser on opposite side from their sidearm.
  6. Ahem...according to the official statement in the OP, the officer had "BEEN WORKING A FULL SHIFT"!!! A full. fucking. shift. Side note: If that excuse was valid...what are we supposed to think about her capacity/judgment one hour before that full shift ended? I guess "it" (whatever makes you accidentally commit a home invasion) just kinda pops out all at once at the very end of said "full shift".
  7. Jonathan Gray played because he had to get the play call from the sideline, explain it to the qb and then direct the O to the proper formation for EVERY SNAP. This wasn’t some secret.
  8. Why would you think that?
  9. I have a question for trumpkins (even though no one admits to being on here): Which stance are you/POTUS taking? 1. Trump is being undercut by treasonous insubordination, or 2. The anonymous op-ed is fake news so none of that shit is happening. You/POTUS can not argue both, though it wouldn’t surprise me (real leaks of classified fake stuff).
  10. I have a thing for Rebecca Berg.
  11. I definitely agree that a truly informed assessment can not be made at this point. However, this is nothing like the NCST thing, for many reasons.
  12. No coach inherits a team that won _____ games the prior season, unless every single player returns. The immediately preceding records are a terrible gauge to use. You have attrition, “purge” type shit, etc. to consider.
  13. The food, especially the raw bar, at your reception was all kinds of kick ass.
  14. Wrong. Detroit Pizza is fucking awesome. It is also NOT Chicago deep dish.
  15. Alignment laughs at your suggestion. Your last sentence nails it. TH is an OC/HC. He is not going to bring in an OC like Bro, who would install a completely new and different offensive system than the one Herman KNOWS (in his ego-centered existence) is the best EVAR!!! He has held back from meddling with the defense because he isn’t a defensive minded HC.
  16. I would be really concerned about this issue, if it was legitimate and not just Mensa bullshit.
  17. Regarding the slow handoff, not only is it useless when the QB rarely keeps the ball, it’s even worse when the QB does such a piss poor job of ball handling. His fake keep is laughable and indicative of either poor coaching of poor coach-ability. Watch the clip in the OP. His fake is so half-assed. Motherfucker even stares at the RB as he jogs out his “fake”. In what realm of bullshit do Sam’s movements and actions after the handoff give even a remotely possible impression that he still has the football? yeah. If you aren’t going to utilize the advantage of an option appearance, then there’s no reason to take on its disadvantages (flat-footed backs receiving slow handoffs.
  18. I guess no one else will, but I’ll tell you, Mensa’s first game at Texas, last season, featured a fucked up coin flip. The ref bailed our captain out so we ended up getting it right, thanks to a sympathetic official. FYI, I think the coin flip thing is/was way overblown, regarding assigning blame to the HC. There are lots of much better reasons to question the abilities of Charlie and Herman.
  19. Dad?
  20. Regarding “players quitting”, the fastest, surefire way to lose a squad is playing some clearly undeserved fucksticks (Porter). The motivation for them to prepare and practice goes to shit if they see their staff flat out shooting themselves in the dick. I’m sure some will say “fuck those players”, but that’s reality.
  21. We lined him outside most of last season. Glad it’s finally starting to sink in with more people how truly shitty this “system” is.
  22. OMFG. So, in his “brain”, it IS ok to throw the ball away on FOURTH down last year in the RRS, but not on 3rd down? Wait, why is anyone shocked by this? It isn’t new. Exactly one week after the 4th down throw away debacle, he forced a ball in OT on 3rd down, where we only needed a fg to extend OT. Said pass was intercepted and the game was over.
  23. This is, as mny have posted, very similar to the Strong/Watson problem. Not that it matters, but tome, this is on higher level of suck, becauseHerman is an offensive minded coach.
  24. What a good is a QB that can extenuate a “legitimate scheme” when we don’t have such a scheme anyway?
