  1. I’m not sure if Texas is playing that time of year but the wife and kids loved it when we went last summer.
  2. It really was. The guards are playing much better tonight defensively.
  3. Since 2005 our defenses have had the following efficiency ratings. http://www.espn.com/college-football/statistics/teamratings/_/year/2018/tab/efficiency 2005 - 85.0 (Chizik) 2006 - 71.5 (Chizik) 2007 - 64.5 (Akina) 2008 - 77.6 (Muschamp) 2009 - 89.1 (Muschamp) 2010 - 69.6 (Muschamp) 2011 - 81.9 (Diaz) 2012 - 58.7 (Diaz) 2013 - 70.2 (Robinson) 2014 - 81.9 (Bedford) 2015 - 66.0 (Bedford) 2016 - 61.2 (Strong) 2017 - 86.6 (Orlando) 2018 - 63.0 (Orlando) 2019 - 61.4 (Orlando) Now for context, or worst year on defense was 2012 Diaz. The following years had worse offensive efficiency ratings than that defense. 2010 - 28.5 (Davis) 2011 - 44.7 (Harsin) 2013 - 54.9 (Applewhite) 2014 - 33.5 (Watson) 2015 - 41.6 (Norvell) 2016 - 48.4 (Gilbert) 2017 - 35.1 (Beck) We could do worse than Orlando, we've done it on offense multiple times. Just about everybody is frustrated watching their teams try to play defense in this modern day college football era. We should be better than we are, but we aren't terrible. At least we are good at stopping the run.
  4. I think the kid is playing great, but let's tap the brakes. His longest run of the year is 8 yards. He seems to be a vision and effort runner more than explosive runner to me. And yes, I would like our RB room to get healthy enough we don't have to play our potential future QB at RB all year when he needs a redshirt to get his new throwing motion worked out. That way he competes with Thompson for QB1 fairly and not because he had to help the team by playing out of position. Just my opinion of what I'd like to see, not what we will see obviously.
  5. If they are healthy by Oct. 5th he can preserve it. I agree though it's unlikely he will if he keeps playing like he has so far.
  6. To me it appears Ingram doesn't trust getting hit in his leg yet. He probably wouldn't be playing if everyone else was healthy. He ran really hard last year, he was just to skinny to break tackles. This year he looks quicker and bigger but isn't running as hard. I think it's mental because of the injury. Johnson looks pretty damn good though, I'm good with him splitting carries until the other guys get back, then I'd like to see him hopefully redshirt. Against most teams I think we can get by with Ingram, Young, Johnson (yea I know), and eventually Whittington again. I'm not ready to pull the plug on Johnson at QB yet. I think we are getting RB covered starting next year, QB is always a crap shoot.
  7. Smoked tri tip for lunch, ribs for a snack, tiger for dinner. Fuck LSU
  8. It's crazy they fall for his bull shit every single offseason. He is their Chip Brown. Full of shit 100 percent of the time.
  9. If things play out like I hope they do and John Burt has a breakthrough senior year...It will be hilarious listening to the pundits drool over his combine performance when Collin Johnson has a LJH like performance (probably a little better) and Burt kills it. There is more to this football stuff than being a great athlete. I really hope LJH gets a shot to prove this day was irrelevant. And to be fair, as disappointed as many are, I know you guys still do too. Either way, LJH played a huge roll in turning the tide for this program back to national relevance.
  10. I mean, the dude did put up a 1,000 yard season with Collin Johnson and Duvernay on the field (who are also pretty good WR's) somehow. Just being able to catch the ball isn't all that's required to do that in big time college football.
  11. LJH and Collin Johnson both are guys who make contested catches instead of creating separation. I'm maybe a little surprised LJH ran a 4.75, but I didn't expect him to do all that well at the combine. Lots of people thought it was a stretch taking him out of high school due to his lack of position and lack of elite athleticism. He's proved people wrong once before, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he does it again in the NFL if he gets his shot. Dude is still pretty damn new at WR and is already good at the little things. That shows elite instincts and work ethic.
  12. That was a several minute stretch of how to play fast break defense by Chris Paul. Holy shit.
  13. We don't deserve it, but I'll sure take a win in OT. Fuck Arkansas.
  14. Shit guys, I just checked. We are 7-27 from 2 and 8-26 from 3. Bomb away I guess...
  15. Man, get Osetkowski ass to the bench until he stops with the turnovers. You've got to punish careless play at this age.
  16. Coleman is really having a poor game. We've got to get more off of penetration this year. This team can't live with 3 pointers Sims/Osetkowski being the playmakers.
  17. A little upset about the choke job today? I would be too. It's okay little fella. This shit is a faux sooner aggy troll.
  18. aggy surrender cobras are the best surrender cobras
  19. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/24045670/ranking-nfl-best-worst-offensive-arsenals-weapons-2018 ESPN had us 12 coming into the season without having a clue Coutee would look as good as he has. Seems I'm not the only one who thinks our offensive weapons are pretty damn good.
