  1. As was mentioned above I've always enjoyed R&G Lounge, Swan Oyster. Go to Brenda's French Soul Food (recommend during lunch as it' on the edge of Tenderloin) Hard Water for the Bourbon Tony's (North Beach) for pizza Mama's for breakfast Other bars that I've been to recently Monk's Kettle Velvet Cantina Lolo's (Mission) for tacos
  2. Netflix 4K, Hulu Live, HBO Now, ESPN+ Amazon Prime NYTimes Spotify, Audible ClassPass Damn, these really add up
  3. I know... week flew by and I forgot about that until the last day. By then I was just too tired and hung over to do anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Another great trip in the books. For the most part the weather was really good too. Out of six rounds it probably rained 6 holes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. late 2017?... we went from 10K to 20K in like a week. Not sure it's quite like that.
  6. Wait, is this a thread where the Sales guys can vent or where we rag on sales guys? Closed out a great Q1 and even took the last few days off to golf. Still working on the comp plan and Annual quota looks like it will be at least 35% higher than last year despite under performance so getting a big start was essential.
  7. Very nice... I've driven a Ford truck for the last 14 years and my wife is telling me it's time get something like this. Second kid will be here in a few months so a third row would be handy but I still need something that could handle ranch roads in West Texas. Tahoe check those boxes?
  8. Nice... heading to Bandon next week so I'll make sure it's in good shape for you
  9. Any Dr. recommendations here in Austin? Not sure I'm comfortable with Dr. Peter Ruff.
  10. Find a Headhunter, tap into your network... that's likely the best way and you won't have to rely as much on the appearance of your resume. There are a few SaaS headhunters I'm connected with in the Austin area and several in Boston depending on your search. What type of SaaS selling? Large enterprise deals or mostly inside reps selling transactional? Did the Work in Sales, need to vent thread make it over to Surly?
  11. I had plane changes several time this year... AA seems to be rolling out 777s on various domestic routes and I've tried to grab a premium economy seat but many Times is switched to a 2 class. I found this previously to help figure out the difference. https://thepointsguy.com/2017/07/aa-inconsistent-777-200-fleet/
  12. JTC Kitchen is pretty good as well... has a nice bar with bocce going in that same development too. Unfortunately I think Clermont Lounge is now closed as that might be fun. Surprised no one mentioned Cheetah lounge yet
  13. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/this-airline-sued-a-passenger-for-skipping-his-flight-why-we-should-all-take-note-2019-02-13
  14. If going Intl the Flagship lounge in MIA is nicer than Centurion. I think centurion in MIA is closed for remodeling right now anyway.
  15. Headed to South America in a month for work... likely taking AA but wondering if there is any sneaky way to get upgraded? Don't have any systemwide upgrades but do have status. 500 miles won't work there I don't think.
  16. Are you looking to spend time in Paris? Why nonstop only? Lufthansa through Frankfort to Lyon/Nice might be an ok option using chase points. Get you closer to Monaco than CDG. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Finished product right before I carved it. Unfortunately no pics once carved but the breast held its juices quite well. Happy with the inaugural cook. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Here is my turkey I’m working on: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Kicking off my first try at a Thanksgiving Turkey. Butter injection and salt and pepper rub. Let’s see how this goes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Heading to Europe for two weeks in Feb(flying in and out of Paris) Since Winter I'm thinking I skip south of France and instead do Lyon then head to Switzerland to stay in some mountain towns. Any recs? I'm guessing I'll just take the train around so looks at a multi country pas on EuroRail... does that work pretty well buying in advance and flexible travel?
  21. Finished product... not a great smoke ring but probably one of the better ones I’ve done. Total time on the BGE was 14.5 hours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Smoking a 14 lb brisket for the game today. Put this thing on last night about 11 and have it steady at around 250. Wrapped this morning in butcher block paper. Normally just do foil so trying this for the first time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I have an older Ryobi 24V string trimmer that used to work well but now the string replacements I'm buying must not fit right because it lets too much out... always end up with to long of a string and I go through the whole roll quite quickly. Have you seen this? I feel like they might have changed the fit recently.
