  1. Thanks... I think I will go with a smaller plant as I just don't have the space to have something that get's 10' tall. There is some shade where it's located but I could try a shade cloth. My planters are irrigated so I can give as much water as I need. Have 3-4 bubblers in each tank right now going off for 1m each morning.
  2. Man, all these pics make me want to go play golf soon. I've barely played this year outside of my trip to Bandon in the Spring and Torrey Pines a month ago. I'm heading to Boston in a few weeks and will try to play a course in that area but am going to be rusty as hell for my club championship in Sept. Young children kill your golf game
  3. Bakkt has some good news and is trying to save the day. I've got some long positions open on Dec Futures and will start adding if this rallies over 10.8.
  4. Do you only get the confirmation email from USPS if you have opted into something special?
  5. Will keep in mind if I don't end up going to the game... nice to know about the bar connection though since I work around the corner from there.
  6. I think I chose poorly on the variety. The one on the right did great and started producing some fruit but out grew the cages and then the string I put above it. Got so big it killed the other plants and now is dying. Next year I’ll change varietals... any good ones that don’t get as big and grow well in Austin area? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Damn, I should have hit that buy button harder earlier this week.
  8. I didn't measure it but I think it rained pretty good for at least an hour in East Austin last night. Another wave today would be very welcome.
  9. Extra Malt Vinegar and Tabasco
  10. Has anyone tried the Buffalo Trace OFC 25yr? $400 for a 2oz pour but bartender claimed it was really awesome. Had some of the WLW instead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I used to love Chicken Express but I don't come across them very much. Bojangles has top notch stuff IMO if you are in or near NC.
  12. So much good advice here... climbing is a lot of fun but get some good equipment. Don't take your external frame pack from 80s boyscouting; get/borrow one with new technology and lighter weight. Same goes for sleeping bag and stuff sack. You won't want some 100L bag that end up being 50lbs. Light weight clothes that are versatile (get pants that you can zip the legs off to convert to shorts) Good wool socks.
  13. Got that email this morning as well... when you buy through this program do you have control over where the seats are or is it just "best available"? Also, damn I just looked at my loyalty points rank and I have some work to do to get into top 5K.
  14. lol, nicely done indeed
  15. What do they need all the tents for? Weather is perfect in LA and it's barely rains. In all seriousness that Skid Row area is a complete shit hole and I've driven through it several times. But it does seem concentrated and not near major businesses. It's not like that downtown LA where all the "normal" people work and hang out. Austin is starting to have this everywhere that actually encroaches on people in their normal lives.
  16. I had seats in the Terrace Club from the time they first opened until a few years ago. Seatbacks are nice and they are high up enough to have decent views of the full field. The actual club has improved over time going from a somewhat private area to one that is now Temp controlled and includes food. If you are in section 13/14 you get a break from the sun for afternoon games but this year the first few are night games so that doesn't matter. Ends up costing you around $600 more per seat for included food so questionable if that's "worth it" versus getting something in another section. I recently re upped my tickets and opted for Section 19 (new Longhorn Lounge) for considerably cheaper than the Terrace. And for those looking at the Home opener I may be out of town that weekend and open to selling.
  17. Not over quite yet but I do think the top is in for this year. Guessing we revisit 8.8K - 9 and then grind back up slowly until next year halving. If we hold here and find a way back up to 12K we might have a shot at a new year high. I've got positions open from mid 9's that I'm holding and will resort if we retest 10.7
  18. This... go here and then after go upstairs to the Dessert Room. I didn't do too much in Tampa, played a few golf courses while I was there but stayed at the Don Cesar in St Pete Beach which was a good spot for family.
  19. Fuck it... Bit the bullet and just bought back into the Foundation. Ok Cool Hook'em
  20. On this topic, I have a dual zone HVAC unit and on one of the zone I have a simple Thermostat so the dampers know how to control the air flow. I was trying to switch that to a smart version that would allow me to control the setting however having wiring issues. The house is fairly new (2007) and there are several wires coming out of the all in that location however only two were getting any reading. So with two I can run the simple thermostat but with a smarter device I need 4 including the 'C" wire. At the unit in the attic there are plenty of wires running into it but it's hard to know what is happening from there to the ends coming out of the wall. Tech said they could open sheetrock or pull some new wire but looking to avoid that if I can. Anyone dealt with similar or have some ideas?
  21. Do you really need them anymore?
  22. I went with Masters weekend... only downside is that I ended up missing the opportunity to take kids to Orange and White game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
