    TCU game week.

SMU came into Amon Carter yesterday and rushed for 350 yards!!! I am inclined to believe that Texas can do that if the Ponies can and that should open up the passing game for Casey. Until the cockroaches are run over by Texas, they can really make life miserable. The last time I went to see Texas at AGC was in 2015 and it was 30-0 after the first quarter and 50-7 final. Not quite as bad as some of the OU blowouts, but worse living in FW and having to hear their fans talk about a team that hasn't done anything since they were matched against Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl.
  2. Nice to see that the FTAB has embraced the trangender population.

    Casey Thompson

Casey has my vote to finish the season as numero uno. Will be watching from the upper deck here in Cowtown next weekend and hoping that the cockroaches don't fall into what has become a reason for all of us to be optimistic the following week in Dallas. Fatterson will have the froggies spitting blood after the home loss yesterday to SMU but as mentioned previously, Texas will be circled on every opponent's calendar and will be getting the max effort from everybody. Happy that Casey has stepped up and lifted this team in performance and attitude. Hudson's time will come, either here hopefully, or somewhere else.
  4. I'm sure Chloe was watching highlights from the Tech game yesterday.
  5. Give me the under on how many times you could resist this tag team.
  6. All 7 pts scored by Longhorns!!
  7. This! We adopted 5year old brother/sister miniature poodles and they do just this. Nothing like having two lap dogs to watch football with.
  8. I bet her owner is a happy as she is. Great doggo.
  9. The Card Counter. Currently 86% critics/25% audience on Rotten Tomatoes and that should have told me something. Oh well, the popcorn was just being emptied and was fresh.😎
  10. Was by there Tuesday night and you are correct-I can't imagine they were not full up with a one hour wait list last night for the Cowboys game.
  11. Pick of the Litter on Hulu. If you love puppehs, this one will have you ten minutes in.
  12. Hope you were vaccinated before venturing to Collie Station and that the PTSD therapy from those trips is helping.
  13. Thank you for posting this article. Jack Crain part of the story cracked me up and didn't surprise me one bit. CSB-my parents retired to Nocona, Crain's home, in 1975 and they became friends. He preached my mother's funeral in '85 and was a great comfort to my family that day.
  14. Having been a CPS caseworker from 1985-86 in two small counties along the Red River, I can promise you this is spot on. The burnout rate for staff was 18 months back then and I bet it is even less these days. Unfortunately, because the victims of abuse, abandonment, and neglect don't bring a lot to the table in terms of political clout and therefore funding for services is not in the top ten priority wise.
  15. Doesn't get any better than this. Rescue dogs just seem to show their gratitude more than others.
  16. +Rep 'cause at 3am, here in FW, the strippers come in from their clubs. Don't think any of those ATL gals were making it rain in da' club tho.
  17. In the words of Janis Joplin, "Get it while you can", Clark! Good looking doggo.
  18. You try finding couture footwear to cover a cloven hoof!!
  19. No pics but Bill Williams Steak and Oyster Bar was a go to whenever we came to Houston back in the 60's. And went to a Greek club called Bacchanal in 1972 with my girlfriend, her sister and brother in law who was a partner at Arthur Andersen. Still have PTSD from that hangover.
  20. I know that the former fire chief and his wife here in Ft. Worth currently own two and had two previously. Whenever Mrs. PCH and I would visit, they were immediately in our laps vying for affection and attention. They worked with them diligently to house train them and they took to the crate within the first six months. They walk them twice daily but they don't leave them outside as they prefer indoors. That's my experience fwiw.
  21. From the town of the Cow-Hook 'em and TEXAS!!! Stay safe at the game ladies & gents
  22. Pity that Fled Ted and Screwy Louie didn't join this heroic patriot☠️
  23. 3rd Pfizer 8/31. After 69 years on this mortal coil, I am not about to give a virus any chance to prevent my 70th or any other going forward.
  24. Spent many an afternoon sitting in the park listening to him play while in school in Denton. Wisdom like this was regularly involved.
  25. How was your flight across the pond?
