    Shane Buechele

Shane has been a great example on and off the field at two outstanding universities. I look forward to seeing what unfolds in this young man's future.
  2. Lawrence has serious competition for the Heisman but I agree with you. He is a more than adequate rushing qb and his decision making/ability to make all throws define him as what I consider the best player in CFB this year. ND had no answer for his ability to avoid the rush, move the chains, and hit the open receiver consistently. Big time player whose record in big games speaks for itself. Who knows what the voters are going to do here-after the decision to award the 2005 trophy to Reggie over Vince the significance factor went down the shitter for me. Loved it when Vince said no thanks in 2010 when offered the vacated 2005 award.
  3. Sigh. . . .that just kicked the good old days syndrome in for me.🙁
  4. We think not!!
  5. A true piece of Texas ranching history. Ann Marion was a benefactor to many causes here in Ft. Worth.
  6. Best truck alarm system in the world right here! Good boy Rambo.
  7. Off topic but damn, I didn't know he committed suicide.
  8. Maybe Briles was pardoned by Trump. . . .no cloak room.😂
  9. Channeling your Mitch Cumsteen now are ya?😀
  10. Perfume, piss, and pestilence is still strong in that room I bet.
  11. Was that shitty strip joint Showgirls? Vaguely remember a time or two while doing the white trash pub crawl back in the day. Maxine's was on that tour as well.
  12. I'm stealing that one-it says so much without saying a word don't it?
  13. Danced at the VFW in Corpus to his music, saw him at Billy Bob's numerous times, and met him in person at Caravan of Dreams when I worked there. Nothing pretentious about the man and willing to talk to everyone who spoke to him. The world lost a wonderful human being as well as a great singer. RIP Charlie.
  14. That's the life I want if there is an afterlife! Good boy Tigger!!
  15. As bad as this season has been with Texas once again not living up to expectations, games being cancelled due to COVID, and having to watch the worst lineup of games today (including this travesty in Waco) in CFB history, I think my sock drawer needs to be re-organized.
  16. This game should be COVID cancelled to prevent the #5 team who I will not mention a chance to slip into the final four.
  17. Dick Lowe, Chris Farkas, and others were the bagmen during this time for TCU. Fred saw that their return on investment was negative.
  18. Endorsed! My high school friend who went to UT and became a writer for the Statesman said that Fred knew the full names of every reporter present when doing post game interviews. Class act who represented the University with pride and dignity. RIP Coach Akers and thanks for all you did while leading the Longhorns.
  19. God blessed our country with men who had the right stuff. Yeager was definitely in that group and undoubtedly stood out. RIP to a BOSS in the air and on the ground.
  20. Good boy Dobbs! Sending good thoughts your way Clinton in this time of loss. We are waiting till January to find our next canine kid after saying goodbye to Zeke this year.
  21. Again, a mere mortal against the GOAT, no shot.
  22. Went to Los Vaqueros new location on University for lunch today at 1pm. Never went into the location before LV became the new occupant. We were the only customers in the whole place from 1-2pm. The parking is limited to spaces available in the complex which could be a problem. Not sure this move from their former spot is going to work out. The meal was fine as usual, just concerned about lack of customers and limited parking maybe posing a problem. What say you people?
  23. Seemed like 4th and forever. You are correct sir!
  24. Well I'm sure Mack breathed a huge sigh of relief when it was 4th and 14 in 2004. Course, it didn't hurt to have the GOAT playing against mere mortals that day.
