  1. He's accusing Longhorn $9.95ers of calling up Aggy Freshmen to try to get dirt on the aggy program, and perhaps even sowing discord.
  2. The McCoys The Shipleys The Griffins The Boyds The Duvernays The Foremans Just fucking say what you're trying to say.
  3. Wilson, Shelby, Akana. Maybe check in on Uiagalelei, Bai Jobe. I guess I'm just not sold on Vasek.
  4. If we beat OU, then we're likely exceeding expectations on the field, and going after bigger edge targets than Vasek. If we lose to OU, we ain't getting Vasek to flip. Either way, I don't see him coming here.
  5. And this is why it was so dumb for DL recruits to pick aggy when they didn't even know who the DC was going to be
  6. Yup, you're right. I had it backwards. I was thinking he wanted to be an OL, while his potential is at DL. I was wrong.
  7. We should check in on Desmond and see how his picks are doing ...
  8. Obviously Texas covets everyone from the 2022 fightin' texum aggy class, you stupid sip. It was the greatest crootin' class in the history of mankind.
  9. From the link... OT Kelvin Banks – Texas Texas left tackle Kelvin Banks is the lone repeat standout from last week. Holding your own against Alabama and Will Anderson – one of the college football’s best pass rushers in recent memory – is certainly enough for recognition on consecutive weeks. Banks was a key part of a young Longhorn offensive front that held up quite well in the 20-19 loss to the nation’s No. 1 ranked team. On3’s top-ranked tackle in the 2022 cycle gave up just one pressure and zero sacks in 45 pass blocking attempts against the Crimson Tide front, per Pro Football Focus. Banks was not the only true freshman offensive lineman to perform at a high level for Texas. Cole Hutson started his second game at right guard and also gave up just one pressure on the day. The season is very young, but Banks’ performance as an 18-year old true freshman left tackle is certainly fitting of his No. 6 overall ranking from On3.
  10. You forgot Anwar -300, who in complete seriousness says that Cole Lourd is taking all the snaps, and then is proved blatantly wrong on Saturday.
  11. I guess there's always a chance that the boosters ask Hill to take down Jimbo the same way Tenn did to Pruitt. "Keep the money, rat out Jimbo so we can get rid of his $85million contract, and go anywhere but Texas."
  12. — Hale is still slated to make an official visit to College Station next week before making his decision. Though the Aggies seem to be reeling a bit coming off of a loss to Appalachian State, his relationship with former Longview quarterback Haynes King is enough to garner a trip. If the fans turn on King like they did Calzone, then being friends with King might be a negative for aggy trying to reel in Hale. — Due to a rainout in Arizona on Friday night, five-star Phoenix (AZ) Pinnacle Duce Robinson could not make it in to Austin for his official visit. Rain in Arizona? — keep playing well up front, they could add Deal to the class by the end of the cycle. So Deal finally sees himself as a DL? Good. I assume he's an interior guy that liked what he saw on Saturday. — One particular person I spoke to who was there with a prospect for a visit said it was the craziest environment he’s ever seen. This person is a skills trainer who regularly spends weekends on college campuses with his kids. So, Margin Hooks or FWK was there? — Javien Toviano opted for a trip to Baton Rouge to see LSU face Southern. We’ve heard some things behind the scenes that would indicate some confidence in Texas landing him, If Roach can't figure out that Toviano is gone after he skipped Texas/Bama for LSU/Southern and there should be Zero confident on the Texas side, then he might be clueless. — . I’ve been told by multiple sources that Austin Westlake EDGE Colton Vasek was in attendance at Texas over the weekend. I’m still working to confirm that myself, Yep, he's clueless. He had multiple sources and yet he's still not sure and needs to confirm it himself. C'mon Roach.
  13. I'd love to see the camera turn around and show the "crowd" that is showing up for this.
  14. He might. I'm guessing Sark will put Card in for 4th quarter mop-up duty when we're up by 30 against Bama in the CFP Semifinal.
  15. The problem is that they can't fire Jimbo, or else they'd have to spend all of the money tied up to pay their recruits for the next 5 years.
  16. In other transfer news, Jordan Addison put up 7/172 & 2TD against Stanford last night.
  17. Fong with some updates: https://247sports.com/college/texas/Article/Texas-Alabama-Steve-Sarkisian-football-recruiting-193050351/
  18. https://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore/_/gameId/401405072 Regardless, I'm not sure if Mathis is any better than Ovie, and all of the bellyaching and crying about not getting more OL and edge portal transfers might have been premature. We'll see if our lines can keep playing with a similar intensity the rest of the season. Our OL acquitted themselves well. Late in the game when we got more predictable and the OL got tired, Bama was able to disrupt us more, but they still held their own. The pass blocking was better than our run blocking for the most part, which was a bit surprising to me.
  19. I mean, sure, "losing to App State" is certainly some kind of floor.
