  1. Jesus, those Stars unis are horrible.
  2. Found some grillos on vacation at a grocery store in Michigan. They’re good. But to me take a backseat to clausens and the GOAT - Best maid.
  3. Iowa State red head is the GOAT. But I do appreciate the UT "oh my gosh" girl and the "fuck!" girl
  4. I guess I really haven't seen that many, especially since moving out of Texas. In person, the best I ever saw was Justin Blalock, former UT lineman and Atlanta Falcon. He went to Plano East.
  5. Owl Drug Store. Coleman. Get the fried pickles too.
  6. Where is MS Paint? I really do miss that thread. OU sucks always.
  7. Went to the race on Saturday. Really meh. But it was so fucking nice to be back at IMS and in the stands with other people. Had me a big ol' pork tenderloin with the cooler full of beer I carried in (still one of my favorite sports traditions, being able to bring coolers in). I strongly dislike W Power, so perhaps that's why I disliked the race. Also was hoping Dixie could close out the championship but Josef climbed too many spots and Dixon couldn't quite catch up enough. I also went to the Iowa race and took my 10yo for his first in-person race. He loved it. We had our radios and he brought some binoculars. That's an awesome track there in Iowa just outside of Des Moines. Next year we may camp there. One cool part is that my buddy is one of the radio broadcasters for the series and during the race gave a shoutout to my son - who lost his mind when he heard that called out over the radio - "And here today cheering on Indy native conor daly are a couple friends of mine from indy, shout out to little BGS jr who's here watching his first race with his dad."
  8. No problem. Your affinity for pickled things is like my hot sauce addiction. The entire door of my fridge (except the egg shelf on top) is hot sauce. Probably close to 40 different brands.
  9. I thought that was a flawed study that only tested one type of gaiter?
  10. It's my school account - come on this isn't amateur hour. I can assure you nothing in my browsing history on that laptop/account has anything slightly questionable. My phone and home computer... well, I'm posting here - that should tell you enough.
  11. Fucking youtube. Showing a video in class today to my freshmen and in the middle of a 12 min video in pops a commercial for a bra. Fucking hell. One time last week we were watching a longer video and I stepped out to go get some copies from the printer and while I was gone youtube played a 5 fucking minute commercial. My poor freshmen just sat there and watched commercials until I got back, lol.
  12. If it's not Best Maid it's competing for 2nd place. I buy 5 jugs at a time when back in TX to take home to IN. Make popsicles with the juice - you're right, it's great after a run. A couple times when I've run out before a trip back to TX I've bought them on Amazon. Both the dill and the sour. Oh, and B&B pickles are the devil's dick.
  13. I would think it would have to be 3 days or less because otherwise wouldn't the negative tests suffice to clear them?
  14. Our school just announced we aren't back full on Monday as planned. Hybrid through the first quarter (Oct 23). Sigh. We haven't had a case in 2 weeks and right now I am not sure we even have anyone home in quarantine. Yet, let's be sure to play all our fall sports in full, especially football which exponentially increases the number of people those boys have second-hand contact with.
  15. Reminds me of 2007ish Trinity University had a crazy play like that to win the game; buddy of mine was the QB. I think that play won an espy.
  16. My cheap ass school won't pay for the tricked out version of Zoom so we're stuck with shitty google meet.
  17. I'm gonna out myself as a taco bell patron every once in a while. A version of the double-decker is back but instead of refried beans they use nacho cheese.
  18. Whoa whoa whoa. I may have migrated up here for a while, but Texas is and will always be home. And to answer an earlier question - I am in Indiana at a private school with 800 students.
  19. Week 5 starting tomorrow for us. 5 cases, about 1 per week. The one we got last week was again from activity outside the building, so we're not spreading it here. We're back full on the 21st. Sports continue to be fully back - XC, volleyball, golf, tennis, football. Indoor sports no attendees other than parents. Outdoor events no restrictions for the minor sports because they don't attract big enough crowds. Football is limited to 1k as long as that is not more than 50% of a stadium capacity. Gotta say, I am shocked at how well it went. If you had asked me Aug 1 I would have said we'd be closed within 2 weeks.
  20. Still have mine and a small stash of my favorite games... Legend of Zelda, Tecmo Bowl, RBI 2, TMNT, Mario 1-3, Contra, MegaMan 1-4, Castlevania series, and a few others. What we use now is one of those mini-Nintendo systems we grabbed at a mall kiosk this Christmas for $40 and it has 500+ games on it. Pretty much everything in the NES catalogue.
  21. New challenge - one of my soccer playing students got a concussion. How are they supposed to do virtual learning 50% of the time when they can't look at a screen? We have been notified that we are hybrid until the end of this month then back full, hopefully, as long as CV numbers continue to trend downward in our city/county.
  22. Indianapolis has a great city flag representing the traffic circle and civil war monument at the center of downtown.
