  1. That missed shot at the net up 40-0 broke her brain
  2. That’s a dive. Not sure the Denmark guy even touched him
  3. Leicester fans torn on that one.
  4. Yeah if you give Norris his, you have to give Perez one too. Seems harsh but needs to be consistent.
  5. Verstappen already getting separation. He is in the fucking zone right now.
  6. That pass on Denmark’s second was unreal. First time on the outside of the foot and it just floats to Dolberg. Beautiful.
  7. I never understood y'alls hate for Dawn. Maybe I was watching a different show. She did kind of screw Sarah on the Restaurant Wars, but it wasn't on purpose and she admitted the next week that she should have handled things differently. Beyond that, she seemed to be intense, but well liked by everyone around her. Her inability to plate was frustrating. I did read an interview with Tom and he said that contestants miss items on plates all the time. The issue is, all of the guests this season were the ones being filmed, so it seemed like a much bigger issue than it normally is. As far as her abilities, I don't think she was that far behind Gabe and Shota at all. In the elimination challenges (before the finale), this is how it looked (Win/Otherwise Top/Bottom): Gabe: 3/3/2 Shota: 4/5/1 Dawn: 1/6/2 She also won 3 QF, compared to 1 for Shota and 1 for Gabe. Overall, before the finale, she performed below Shota but about the same as Gabe, and maybe better if you include QF. Anyway, I was rooting for Gabe (before the AAS story this morning), but would have been fine with Shota or Dawn. I thought it was a really fun season overall, especially considering the limitations due to COVID. I liked having the old contestants back to judge and I'm not sure you can do that in normal times.
  8. We had a 3pm flight today on Southwest to Denver for the family (me, wife, 1 YO and 4YO) and they canceled our flight at 10:30am. By the time we saw it and got on the site, everything was booked until late tomorrow. That would basically waste a day of the trip and had a layover in Houston, which is not ideal with two kids that age. So, we booked a flight on Frontier (ugh) tomorrow morning. Anyone have any info on the South Terminal? Our flight home is on United, so is there a car issue on where to park. Is there a shuttle between the terminals I can pick up? Just grab a cab?

That’s a weird one to judge.
  10. Arnold too “…MY HOLIDAY FILM CLASSIC “JINGLE ALL DA WAY!!!””
  11. I just want to add how much I love Jon Champion. He is so good at this.
  12. Zuber skinned that whole side of the French team and that was clearly a pen. How did he not see it at first?
  13. What's the view on the 2 stops for Perez? I know he ran out of laps and was right on Bottas at the end, but did he need that second stop? I could be wrong, but I feel like he was right on top of Bottas and gaining on him right before the 2nd stop.
  14. This is my first season watching race to race after catching up on Drive to Survive, but I do not understand the love for Ricciardo. He is getting embarrassed by Lando this season. All things considered, the Ferraris were great. LeClerc having to take an extra pit stop and still finishing that high was impressive. Just coolly moving up all the way through the race.
  15. This is correct. That movie fucks.

    Conan

I got into his podcast during the pandemic and it’s great. It’s closer to the Conan Without Borders than the normal show since it’s mostly him just riffing with a guest with no structure. He’s so ridiculously quick witted.
  17. Pardon My Take podcast had a couple of fun interviews with Horner (about a month ago) and Ricciardo (last week) for anyone who is interested. The hosts fully admit that they know nothing about the sport, so the interviews are short on detailed analysis, but are fun insights into both guys.

Went last night and had a great time. So many chances went begging, which was frustrating, but an entertaining game for a 0-0 draw. The stadium is beautiful and is really intimate. I also liked all of the local brands all over the place. Really adds to a sense of community. Definitely some crowd control kinks to work out, but it's the first home game for the team, so that's going to happen. I know there was the USWNT game, but a mid week game is a different animal than a Saturday night franchise opener. We were in the Lexus Lounge area on the west side and agree on the earlier comments about the west side being like the UT games. Not the most into it crowd and definitely want to spend some time in the Supporter's Section in the future. The Lexus Lounge has a pretty average group of "free" beer options and the good stuff was extra. The Electric Jellyfish was $17, which is just fucking wild. More than $1 an ounce. LOL. I'll stick with the free shit. After the game, we met some friends in the beer hall for a post game drink, which is a cool place. By the time we got to the car, there was no traffic, so I think that's the play at future games.
  19. Awesome, thanks. Ordered. Badass shirt
  20. Great to see. I stopped tracking daily as it was making me all ragey. I guess people are seeing the benefit of being vaxxed in reentering normal life?

Got the invite for Saturday's game. Super excited. What's the play pre-game? There are all of those breweries around the stadium, but looking through their sites I didn't see any special events planned. Just show up to one and see if I can get in? I'm sure they'll all be zoos.
