  1. Underwood needs to keep running
  2. Yeah, these are both true. However, the rest of the OU roster is pretty much ass.
  3. Yep. Practice squad players make $13,000 per week or $234,000 for 18 weeks. Veteran players with over two years of experience make a minimum of $17,500 per week or $315,000 for 18 weeks, and a maximum of $25,000 per week or $450,000 for 18 weeks. The minimum salary in the NFL for the 2025 season is $840,000 for a rookie, increasing with each credited season of service to $1,255,000 for players with 7+ years of experience. 2025 NFL Minimum Salaries by Credited Seasons 0 seasons: $840,000 (Rookies) 1 season: $960,000 2 seasons: $1,030,000 3 seasons: $1,100,000 4-6 seasons: $1,170,000 7+ seasons: $1,255,000 This is Sam's fifth season, so his minimum salary is $1,170,000. That's prorated to $65,000/week while he is on the active roster instead of around $20,000/week on practice squad.
  4. You just hit. Nice
  5. Maybe. We've shown no ability to really get to the QB yet. Zero sacks against OSU. Two against SJSU. Thus far, the defense hasn't been getting to the QB like we thought they would. Otherwise, we certainly can beat OU, but it's looking like it'll be a closer game than we first suspected. Still a month left before the game though, so we'll see what may change.
  6. Not going to gain trust that way. Have fun being on the bad side of the coaches for another year, Gibson.
  7. Fourth string. He's likely done here.
  8. I'd be down to take Scudero in the portal.
  9. Nah, he went to Tennessee State in Nashville.
  10. TBF, Texas A&M is still in the name. They're just trying to copy the UT System naming nomenclature.
  11. They've been changing a lot of the names recently. It changed from Texas A&M Commerce in 2024.
  12. "Livingston" over and over. These commentators are regarded. Even Booger got it right at the half.
  13. @closetojumpingshitting himself right now.
  14. This team, other than the defense, seems like it sucks.
  15. Texas begins three-game stretch in which 'internal focus' is of utmost importance - Howe

  17. Holy shit. Their OL is garbage. Also, LOL at Kanak being worth a shit as a TE, at all.
  18. That's a reasonable take. Coaches need time to build their systems, culture, and recruit. At the same time, it can also be true that there might be real concerns with DeBoer's program at Bama. Either way, as has already been mentioned multiple times, a quick hook with DeBoer will scare off plenty of qualified candidates, especially with Saban still sniffing around that program. And you're 100% correct about the expectations among fans. No one is going to replace, or emulate, Saban. He's one of one, but also, times sure have hell changed in college football and Bama doesn't have the myriad advantages they used to.
  19. Steve Sarkisian Thursday Availability (San Jose State 2025) - OTF
  20. Steve Sarkisian Thursday Availability (San Jose State 2025) - OTF
  21. Dude could do whatever he wants and get paid handsomely. He's only 50, though. I imagine he'd want to keep coaching, especially since he previously won everywhere he's been. I wonder if Bama has the typical "income offset" clause in his contract, or not.
  22. Thank you - that makes sense. It would explain the variability and uncertainty regarding when he'll return.
  23. Why is this injury so hush hush? Obviously, you don't have the answer to it, but it makes me think it's not something standard. Otherwise, why don't wee know what it is?
  24. While I appreciate much of your take, your love and resilience for your team, and do agree that small sample sizes and variability certainly apply to college sport outcomes, you have to see the cracks in the DeBoer foundation right now at Alabama.
