  1. I agree with everything you wrote. I just don’t see Vic taking Fulwiley and starting her over both Rori and Preston when Rori decided to come back.
  2. Yeah. We went 3-2 and our loses were 2-1 and 4-3. Pitching, while thin, wasn’t the issue that trip.
  3. That’s true, but Texas ultimately lost because we couldn’t hit/stop striking out against Will Bednar and Landon Sims in either of our loses to MSU. Game one where we lost 2-1 and struck out 21 times still haunts me. We get past MSU and I think we would have beaten Vanderbilt for the title.
  4. Nah. His stats aren’t any better than Bert’s.
  5. Yeah, to be clear, I'm certainly not worried at all That's the spirit!
  6. Looking forward to the star-fucker response and fallout from some of those current recruit ratings.
  7. A loss doesn’t really hurt Texas as long as we keep winning series in the SEC. However, a win really helps UTRGV.
  8. Texas is going to have three players 6'4 or taller next season that will actually see the floor. That'll be a nice change.
  9. Damn. Texas going to have three capable players 6'4 or taller next season. That's going to be nice.
  10. Yeah, but not only because they're jacked up to play Texas. They're a legitimately good team trying to improve their RPI and this is their final game against a Q1 opponent. That's more why I believe they'll pull out all the stops.
  11. This'll be a really interesting game. I can only assume UTRGV will pull out all the stops to try to win this game. RPI currently at 35, SOS at 94, and only 1-3 vs. Q1. Texas needs to be ready to play ball.
  12. That could be top overall seed territory. Regardless of how it looked, they took two of three from Arkansas, and head-to-head results matter. In the grand scheme of things, these rankings don't mean anything though. Postseason seeding will take care of it and the collective résumés will matter more.
  13. Nice. That’ll help our RPI.
  14. Yeah, if he didn’t have plus speed, he probably wouldn’t have made the roster this year. Granted, we certainly didn’t foresee Winfield sucking this badly. Dup wouldn’t be playing had that not happened. Texas is a virtual lock to host at this point. Already have 12 SEC wins. Should get five more plenty easily. Belyeu should be back to full strength for a regional too. Then, time to fuck shit up in the postseason.
  15. LOfuckingL at those of y’all who are complaining about winning a road conference series without arguably our best two bats (one for the series, another for one of three games).
  16. Never in doubt. Let’s go UGA.
  17. Yep… thought the same thing. I know he was excited, but that was boneheaded.
  18. This is true. But I can’t imagine her wanting to go anywhere she won’t start. She *could* start over Rori and Preston, but would that actually happen? I’d also believe Preston would transfer if we brought Fulwiley in.
  19. Lmao. Sam Cosmi was a recent example of exactly that, even in his senior year. Connor Williams may have played around there his junior year as well. But, I know you’re trolling.
  20. I’d imagine primarily as a center to spell Oldacre, but I bet we’ll see more minutes with each on the court this upcoming season than we did with Jones and Oldacre together this past season. Cunningham is more athletic than Jones. However, get another guard who can shoot and it’ll really open the interior up for those two. Teams just sat back in a 2-3 zone and clogged the interior because we couldn’t shoot threes. A healthy Phelia, another year of development for Lee and Booker, some minutes for Crump, and hopefully another portal guard who can shoot will solve for that.
  21. UGA holds on. Texas needed that.
  22. After leading 12-2 in the T6, SCar gives up 1 in the 6th, 2 in the 7th, 2 in the 8th, and a walk-off grand slam totaling 8 in the 9th to lose 15-12 and gets swept by A&M.
  23. Man, that list looks like ass past Arch.
  24. Golden was fast in high school, as well as at Houston where he returned multiple kicks for TDs. I don’t think anyone projected him as fastest at the combine back then, but his speed was no surprise.
