  1. I'm sure this will all end well for the parties involved
  2. Ranked: Everyone on that list, but one... Hayden Connor whiffing on a trap block, sweep pull, pin and pull, or power
  3. Nice that Texas finally decided we have a payroll to meet. Tamp, tamp, y’all.
  4. Booker: Lee: Phelia: Judd: What stands out to me about these is: 1. Booker should have been taking more threes last season. I didn't realize she shot 40% from deep. However, she basically only attempted about one per game. We should be creating more set three-point attempts for her and fewer contested off the dribble at that percentage. 2. Lee should have been taking more, too. 3. In WCBB, FG% and 3P% seem to be pretty close for most decent shooters. Texas needs to adapt their offense to attempt more threes for any player shooting 35%+. The statistical payoff is there when FG% is only marginally higher for most of these players. Keep the defensive identity, feed the post, and shoot 5-10 more threes/game, and this team should increase the average point differential. With our post depth this season, disallowing teams to collapse down in the lane without the threat of a three-point risk because we actually can - and will - willingly shoot threes would be a huge difference maker. With who Vic has been targeting in the portal, I'm optimistic this is somewhat his plan, as well. Also, another year with more experienced, polished, and healthy versions of Harmon, Booker, Phelia, Lee, and Preston is going to be fun. If Preston and Lee get confidence in creating their own shots (think Preston late at home against SCar, as well as Lee the final few games of the season), we're going to have some serious offensive weaponry.
  5. That's what it appeared like to me, as well. They each had to adjust some right before the catch on multiple fly balls on Saturday.
  6. Stanford is 49th in RPI but is 6-15 in ACC play (in 15th of 16 teams) and 19-17 overall. They have Wake (RPI 26), @BC (RPI 50), and @NCST (RPI 33) left in conference, as well as a series against Grand Canyon (RPI 64). Plenty of room to secure good wins, but I doubt it happens. They likely miss the tournament.
  7. Cool. I just figured if anyone here had, it would be you. Seems like we may be trading Kneepkens for Judd & Sidberry.
  8. That's big for Tennessee. Both of the above are positive news for our prospects with Judd. Have you watched Sidberry's film/her play live? I'm curious how she might compare to Mwenentanda. Obviously, her lines are better from those game stats you posted.
  9. We'll see. Texas is apparently a real threat here.
  10. As of today, they're 37th in RPI. For comparison: aggy is certainly improving. Taking the series would be a win. I'm not sure a sweep is likely, but it certainly could happen. Without Spencer and with the improvement in play across their roster, I'd be thrilled with a series win.
  11. Only because she was seen eating a meat stick in the dugout...
  12. Would seem like Tenn would have the natural advantage in terms of scheme.
  13. From where? I wouldn’t doubt it, but hopefully not true.
  14. Remember when Xavier was super high and they were like 12-13? RPI tends to do a good job overall, but it also tends to have some obvious WTF rankings. Texas swept UGA. Texas should be number one, easily. But it won’t matter. The selection committee doesn’t only go off RPI
  15. Yep. What Chase25 said.
  16. According to the Al Gore's internet - Television schedules. "The league allows schools to move some series to start on Thursday to accommodate national broadcasts, as The Advocate noted. ESPNU began airing a Thursday night SEC game in 2011, and this practice became more common as the league gave schools more flexibility."
  17. I fully agree with your first sentence. Somehow, however, Texas is still #2 in RPI: https://www.warrennolan.com/baseball/2025/rpi-live https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/baseball/d1/rpi https://d1baseball.com/nitty-gritty/ Maybe you're looking at a source I am not.
  18. Huge shout out to @BillyGoatHill for transferring his tickets for today's game to my wife. I was already taking my 4.5-year-old son, but my wife also got to take our 2.5-year-old son. It was both of their first games in person (however, we do watch most of them on TV). They got to experience one hell of an offensive showing, including the ultra exciting three-run walk-off HR, saw Jonah Williams continue to ball out, ate a ton of ballpark food they normally don't get to eat, ran the bases after the game was over, and even got to see Surly cult hero DDA in the flesh! I am an ever-increasingly sentimental person since becoming a father. I grew up going to the Disch often with my dad. The memories and pictures from today will last many lifetimes in my family. I cannot thank you enough, good sir.
  19. I was just about to say the same thing. ND's classic blue or green jerseys with their base uniform set up are fantastic. However, Under Armor has put out some unbelievably horrible shit for them the past 10 years.
