1. I've told this story before, but my mom used to send me the FW:FW:FW: emails. I started hitting reply all and inserting the Snopes article to help my older relatives better discern the facts of a situation, and I'd even write my own response to go with it. I only did it 3 times. I only did it 3 times not because they started coming back to reality, but instead because they didn't want to be told they were wrong, so she quit including me. My biggest concern is that we are living with a bunch of people who have completely checked out from reality and are just not open to coming back, and that those people are going to take this view of needing a revolution and starting a civil war over a bunch of shit that is completely not true. I have no idea how we're going to avoid this eventuality, but I know if we don't figure it out, it's coming.
2. That’s actually public record. United let’s you check flight status on all flights and upgrade list is included, you see the poor sob’s that haven’t gotten an upgrade yet until the flight takes off. I bet it’s about the 6 am rebook. That’s the one that wouldn’t be public.
3. Yeah, no shit involved. Might have been some semen left over. I expect they washed out the tub before the next baptism though.
4. yeah even that narcissist Trump went to Puerto Rico because he thought he needed to be seen "helping." His idea of helping was shooting paper towels out of a t-shirt cannon, but he at least showed up. When you can't even rise to the level that Trump did, you have serious serious problems.
5. Did you just out a sock or are you still so drunk you can't tell that's a different username?
6. Profile picture checks out.
7. This dancing for Rush's death is not surprising. I was reminded today of his regular segment in the late 80's and early 90's called the AIDS Update which had a theme song of Dionne Warwick singing "I'll Never Love This Way Again" and celebrated all the gays that were dying of the disease. By the way, he wasn't celebrating the life of the gay people who had died in these segments, he was celebrating the fact that another gay got what was coming to him. He was a terrible person in life and I will remember him as a terrible person who I am happy will not be able to pollute the eardrums of my family any longer. I'm going to just leave it at that. I do have to give him some credit, though. As a young stupid idiot, I listened to him a fair bit. He blatantly lied about something that I accidentally found out was just a straight up fabrication. I knew if he'd lie about something so easily falsifiable he was someone that could not be trusted and quit listening. That was the beginning of me opening my eyes to the idea that what believing things just because my parents believed them was not a good look, and I needed to start thinking for myself. So thanks for that Rush. I'm a much better person today because you were a filthy liar.
8. Apologies. I was reading a thread about the national anthem, so I thought when you said this:
LOLz. C'mon man. There are a few willing to stand, regardless of how many folks on this board hate America.
you were talking about the national anthem, since that's the topic of this thread. Since I don't follow you around and read all your posts, maybe I missed the context that you didn't provide here. Like I said, you can be better than this. Provide better context if you want people to draw different conclusions, man.
9. Best part of that video "I'm me, I'm not a cat" lol
10. Nah your implication that those that ignore the national anthem hate this country was the stupid bit I was commenting on. You could be better than that.
11. It worked for LadyG in the Cavanaugh hearings. It wasn't going well until he started yelling, then suddenly Dems backed down and Cavanaugh got confirmed.
12. I just can't get over how terrible that is. Looks like someone was using a hand square as a guide. Maybe we should start calling him #SenHandSquare
13. So these people have broken my bullshit detector. I can't tell if that is real or not. And it's even better when presented in concert. I'm not a big Madonna fan, but she puts on a fantastic show. God damn I miss going to concerts.
14. Wait, you aren't allowed to call someone a cum dumpster piece of shit on Twitter? What kind of outfit do they think they are running over there?
15. slorch, come on man.
16. If your business relies on gay clientele, blasting that song in the open doors of your business is a good way to draw us in off the street, FYI. Also, I'm not watching, why is Madonna being discussed?
17. I mean, this is as obvious as Trump having a legal defense fund that was actually for paying off debt. Anyone who gave money to either the defense fund or LP had all the tools they needed to know better.
18. I'm old enough to remember when TV stations went off the air every night for a few hours. The last announcement they would make every night was how they were going off the air and a flag would pop up on the screen and the national anthem would play.
19. Well that's the problem, right? Off the record they all agree he's guilty. It's getting them to agree he's guilty on the record that will prove LadyG correct.
20. Yeah growing up in a small town, you had to go to church if you were in business. People wanted to know what kind of God you worshipped I guess. I was First Baptist church had a gym with a basketball court. And it wasn't the first time, even with that guy, but also did trade blowjobs with a friend in the baptismal of that church once. As soon as I figured out I wouldn't ever have to go to church again to be successful in business because I'd left the small town, I have only entered churches for weddings and funerals, with a couple of exceptions like visiting a cathedral in Europe to see the opulence.
21. "He's terrible at business, just like me!" So that's the guy making it possible for us to have bird tuesday.
22. Or make it the very first thing they do as soon as they open the doors to the public.
