  1. Let me go ahead and get my hopes up. Does Sanders project as an off the ball linebacker or an edge player in our defense? We've had so many defensive coordinators I can't keep up with all the stupid Mike/Sam/Will/EDGE/Fuckface nomenclature.
  2. Not that anyone should need more proof on the efficacy of vaccines, but to further illustrate the point, some trends in NYC and Seattle during the recent Omicron surge.
  3. Holy smokes it’s better than I imagined. You were absolutely right. It looks brand new without knowing exactly where to look in the right light.
  4. Yeah, this show is ridiculous and per usual Showtime will run it into the ground, but what the hell I'm enjoying it. I don't really care about the "present day", but I do enjoy the balance of the show because it gives me LOST vibes.
  5. The entire strip of beaches in that area is awesome. I was there for Thanksgiving, and one of the best days was spent hanging out at Waimea Bay Park jumping off a 30 foot rock into the ocean.
  6. Guy comes on a thread to spike the football on having “natural immunity” and not getting vaccinated, and his evidence is that he’s had COVID twice, one of which was “brutal”? It’s truly incredible how stupid a large swath of the American population is.
  7. Sacramento is one of the handful of truly dumb teams left in the league. Almost any other team, and I would say zero chance of a Halliburton for Simmons deal, but with Sac you just never know. I don’t think Morey would do Simmons for Fox.
  8. Breaking Bad is PrEsTiGe Tv for knuckle dragging troglodytes. Throw on your Oakleys and fire up another episode. Long live The Wire, Sopranos, and Mad Men, the pinnacle triumvirate.
  9. I thought 8 was terrific. 9 was a bit of a let down for a reveal I was looking forward to.
  10. I also liked the shape of the first one, but think I favor the color of the second a bit more. Will keep poking around
  11. Thanks. As long as they are versatile with denim and something like a olive/navy/khaki nicer chino (which I can never pick), should be good. I’ve worn the Bedale as my fall jacket in nyc the last 4 or 5 years. Great jacket.
  12. Watched Coda on Apple TV+ last night. If you are amenable to being emotionally manipulated into happy crying like a woman for an hour, it does the trick. I regret nothing.
  13. While I won't argue the greatness of Kurosawa, I'm re-watching Good, Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West and Once Upon a Time in America before I'm re-watching Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, and Throne of Blood (underrated).
  14. Would you be able to give some high level advice/suggestions on the right pairings for Suede loafers? For example, I love the look of these and these, but I worry that I wouldn't know how to appropriately match them with the right pants (color, material, etc.). I'll hang up and listen.
  15. Once Upon a Time in the West, The Searchers, Good, Bad and the Ugly, and For a Few Dollars More. No Country if it’s allowed to be counted. Also a special shout out to the Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, which isn’t in the same class as the aforementioned, but I love nonetheless.
  16. This is one of the worst sentences I’ve ever seen constructed. My eyes are bleeding.
  17. Done. Can't wait to get it in. Dealer sent tons of additional pics. There were a few scuffs on the outside of the case with the close up photos, but I decided I didn't mind given the price point and how much I like the watch. Dealer sent the timegrapher reading and it looks to be functioning great. Thanks everyone for bearing with.
  18. I continue to believe it is more likely than not that he is very successful there (and in fact he was my preferred choice once we whiffed on Urban), but he is absolutely making some puzzling decisions thus far.
  19. Strongly considering pulling the trigger on this IWC. <10 years old with original papers and what appears to be very good condition, and I like the thinner case (~9mm) compared to the De Ville (~13mm). Seems like a good price after shopping around a bit.
  20. She is, it's just not rapid so won't know for several days (the nyc PCR backlog is silly at the moment). But, I had read that you can produce a positive result with a PCR test for weeks/months after having COVID due to its sensitivity, even though you may not necessarily be contagious for that long. She went to a primary care doc about a week ago, and they told her that the recurring fever for several weeks is actually pretty common. She was still testing positive at that time.
