  1. 9-1

Except that isn’t true. On offense, 9 out of 11 starters are at least third year players. Depends on the formation but defense is also 8 or 9 of 11 starters being at least third year players. We have some talented younger guys getting meaningful snaps, but the young team excuse doesn’t fly this year.
  2. Oh, I get it now. You don’t understand what it means to control your own destiny.
  3. Texas absolutely does not control its own destiny. We're in a decent spot, but we need some collection of team(s) to lose even if we win out. And, a 1 loss team sitting right above us is better positioned with respect to "controlling their own destiny". If Oregon runs the table and beats Wash in a rematch, they are almost certainly getting priority over us.
  4. Pretty clear what we need: (1) keep winning (preferably with some impressive wins instead of the heartbreak kids); and (2) either (x) FSU losing, or (y) Bama beating Georgia. (x) > (y), but either should get the job done. Wash/Oregon too unpredictable.
  5. It looks awful, but in their defense, they would probably be deaf if they sat outdoors under the jumbotron all game.
  6. He was awful, no reason to mince words. Does it mean he won’t put it together someday and become a very good quarterback? Of course not. Young quarterbacks improve by leaps and bounds all the time (see Ehlinger, Sam). But, right now, he is a bad quarterback in danger of making a disastrous play every single pass attempt. Klieman was insane for going for it yesterday instead of making Sark try to manufacture points in the red zone with one hand tied behind his back. A gift from the college football gods.
  7. I flew down for my first game since LSU 2019. The jumbotron volume and consistent onslaught is insane (including the dumb ass DJ on the field), but otherwise the atmosphere is vastly improved. The student section in particular is miles better compared to when I was in school 06-10. Fun time with this heart attack team.
  8. When Evil Lurks is fucked up.
  9. Yeah, well, cocaine is a hell of a drug.
  10. I can’t feel my body
  11. Just because you made a poor inference doesn’t mean I’m moving the goalposts. But I am glad to see you’ve become more trusting of the coaches in your older age.
  12. My rhetorical tactic was pointing out that the tight ends this staff have recruited have yet to prove anything on the field (which is perfectly fine at this stage), in response to you feigning disbelief that someone dare question the judicious recruiting offers of this staff. But I get that you don't like your silly comments being dunked on.
  13. Excellent straw man you’ve built there. I’m sure it felt good to win that argument against yourself. The jury is out, that is all. And discussing measurables in a recruiting forum is perfectly acceptable whether or not Jeff Banks has been “judicious” with his offers.
  14. Didn’t realize we were already at the trust the coaches phase based on Spencer Shannon and Will Randle.
  15. This bullpen is truly infuriating
  16. If you are set on being near MSG, can’t go wrong with Keens. Otherwise, MSG is right in the middle of the worst part of Manhattan so better off getting a 6pm dinner in another neighborhood on the west side and make it back to MSG in time for the show at 8. I had to go to the Billy Joel show 2 weeks ago with clients. Pleasantly surprised.
  17. BoBigRed/HuskerinKingwood was a good poster. FCHorn in the PCL forum was great, and I really enjoyed quite a few exchanges with him on that board in the 2012-2013 range. FCHorn in every other forum was bat shit, and the sheer volume of posts made it near unbearable.
  18. maybe a top 10 movie for me all time. bat shit crazy is right. My life for Isabelle Adjani.
  19. Hey fuck cunt, if you can't handle Rangers fans clowning on shit bag Astros fans of all stripes, feel free to go hang out in the San Antonio baseball thread of dominance.
