  1. Triangle of Sadness. I really loved Force Majeure and The Square, but was lukewarm on this one. There were some real laugh out loud moments, but it had nothing original or interesting to say about class or wealth, and I fear that was the goal of the movie.
  2. Rapidly approaching Andre Coleman territory
  3. I tried to watch RRR. People I respect really love it, but I just couldn’t last all three hours. I wish the original language stream was available instead of the Hindi dub.
  4. That’s nobody’s business but the Turks.
  5. Having witnessed the end of the Mack, Strong and Herman eras, we all know how hard/impossible it is to win back recruiting momentum once it starts falling to pieces like it is for Jimbo right now. You absolutely, positively, hate to see it.
  6. We aren’t going to have an elite defense as long as PK is in charge. He is not a good recruiter (see a million examples, but Drew Sanders being Exhibit A), and clearly not elite at scheme/play calling. We can hope to match an elite offense with an average to above average defense, which I would certainly take.
  7. You can reject whatever you want, but us having more talent isn’t a “false narrative”. It’s demonstrably true based on recruiting rankings, the merits of which have been statistically proven time and time again. Maybe our talent is inexperienced and unbalanced across positions, but it is an absolute fact that we have more talent than virtually everyone we play.
  8. The good news is that he is always dead wrong about his declarative statements, so maybe Sark is the guy notwithstanding all evidence to the contrary.
  9. All the same ridiculously frustrating shit of the Sark era, so not sure there is improvement to speak of. But fuck it. We’ve lost a lot of football games over the last 12 years. I’ll take the win and enjoy the bourbon night cap.
  10. Well you were right about one thing.
  11. The Banshees of Inisherin. A feckin good movie
  12. Depends on how the season plays out I would assume. There has to be a fall guy if we go 1-3 or 0-4, the former of which is a very real possibility. 3-1 or even 2-2 and I agree with you that Sark probably keeps status quo.
  13. Sir, the Weigmans are notoriously tight lipped* *Other than with respect to yokel high school football fans
  14. Doubt he plays another game for them. Guy is such an ignorant dipshit
  15. They should just start answering these questions assuming we go 1-3 or 2-2 down the stretch. It’s certainly the more relevant analysis.
  16. Tar was excellent. Cate Blanchett locked up yet another Oscar.
  17. I remember the olds on hornfans being fucking outraged by this
  18. Accusations of “Allegiance-based” mudslinging and “not pledging fealty to a team” from the guy spinning himself in circles defending non-”biz/financing” related positions from Musk. Being a stereotype must be fun.
  19. I don’t understand what you are asking. Musk’s holding company agreed to pay $X per share, and that’s what the shareholders get, nothing more nothing less regardless of Twitter’s cash balance, working capital or debt. Some of that $X is funded with equity capital coming from Musk (more or less), some of it is coming from new debt put on twitter’s balance sheet.
  20. The debt is classic LBO debt that will go on the company’s balance sheet secured by its assets. Nothing more nothing less. Supposedly Musk borrowed cash separately to fund part of his equity, which may have been secured by Tesla shares, but that’s not Twitter debt.
  21. What? There is no purchase price adjustment in a public deal. The per share price is the per share price. The poster you are responding to is lambasting the LBO construct. Middle school indeed.
