  1. I was down to both as well and really the exterior look of the AT4 plus the possibility of ~30mpg on the highway with the diesel is what made me mind up for me. The interior of the king ranch is so fuckin nice though. The AT4 feels very cheap in comparison.
  2. Well I’m not going to argue with you regarding your experience, but every copy cat recipe for the spicy version out there has the Cajun buttermilk marinade as the difference along with the sauce.I also saw the filets in separate trays (like they do with the spicy vs reg tenders and OG chicken) depending on which one you ordered at my local Popeyes, with a noticeable more red hue in one of them. Obviously YMMV All this talk is making me hungry.
  3. It seems to me like Geno’s East Texas ventures are an abomination to the Chicago originals. Almost all the reviews match the two experiences I had. Hostess was nowhere to be found when we walked in on a slow afternoon, when one finally surfaced she went up to the podium, grabbed something and walked off. When I saw her again I had to flag her down to get her to seat us. Drinks took fifteen minutes to arrive. I was prepared for the long wait for the pizza which is par the course but when it did come the waitress set a boiling hot pizza pan on the table directly in front of my then three year old’s reach. I had to block him and tell her to come back with the tongs to move it. At that point the waitress disappeared. No refills, no welfare check, nothing. I had to get up and go to the bar and have them pull up my ticket and paid there. The waitress got nothing of course and I let the manager know, who was largely disinterested in what I had to say. All that is the direct opposite of my experience at the downtown Chicago location that made me a huge fan of theirs. It’s a damn shame really, because I love Chicago style and it’s hard to find another place that does it right in DFW
  4. Um, they do. At least the two that I have had so far did. You can tell because they marinate the filets in their spicy buttermilk so the outside of the chicken (under the crust) has a layer of red. Sounds to me like you got a lazy dipshit cook that ran out of the spicy and subbed a regular thinking you’d be none the wiser.
  5. 64k including tt&l. I will say that if you value a luxurious cabin above all else, the king ranch is the clear winner. After researching, the at4 out performs in almost all other areas from what I could gather.
  6. Pulled the trigger on a 2020 AT4 1500 Sierra with the turbo diesel. Got 500 miles out of my first tank in shitty Dallas traffic. Just got a 2” leveling kit to take out that horrible rake and put a bakflip tonneau cover on which are the only mods I plan on doing. This thing is a blast to drive.
  7. MIL (no pics, pervs) is a TCU Alum and a grade A shit talker. The past decade has been like I've been trapped in a horrible fucking nightmare.
  8. Alice Goodwin, there are pleasant pictures all over the interwebs.
  9. Haven’t taken a Papa Murphys pizza home in years because they use cheddar in their cheese blend. I just can’t do it on pizza
  10. Would love to get him back in the class. The guy is just a straight up baller
  11. And, more directly, TVondre Sweat and Gerald Wilbon
  12. What’s the feeling on princely? Any way we can get him back into the fold?
  13. The amount of people that think Harrell would come in and run a full blown Leach air raid is astounding. Leach is the only one who runs a Leach air raid where running the ball is optional. Every disciple to come from his tree at least attempts a balanced attack.
  14. Thanks for the sleuthing. I actually wasn’t paying attention to the year on your invoice but that’s still a damn good deal. I’m opting for a 2020 so I can get the diesel engine that’s been getting good reviews.
  15. Damn, the closest ones I can find I'd have to pay for transport across state lines.
  16. Damn, that price is like $6k less than any discounted prices on the web. How'd you manage that? I'm looking at upgrading soon.
  17. We need linebackers in the worst way and he’d be awesome there
  18. Fucking LOL like any of that was ever about that motherfuckers health
  19. Just watched Tell Me Who I Am............ Jesus Christ. It’s definitely a must watch, but once and only once similar to 12 Years a Slave or something. It boggles my mind that there are human beings that horrific walking the earth. Just wow.
  20. Dropping in to say ya'll need to go try Emilio's Kitchen, new tex mex in Lake Highlands. Took the wife (no pics, heathens) and the boy and was actually impressed for once and I'm originally from SA so I know my shit. The portions are huge, the "kid's" meal is enough to feed to grown man and the regular meals you'll end up taking some home. Usually the verde sauce on enchiladas is bland but I found mine to be awesomely tangy with just the right amount of salt. Only a couple beers on tap (Shiner and Miller i think), hopefully they'll expand their taps a bit. Prices were fair and worth it in the end considering you're essentially getting 1.5 meals for that price. http://www.emiliosmexican.com/
  21. Strange, I thought he was really good in it.
  22. What I do in my own home is none of your concern, sir.

Looks like it was one review by conVINCED on here and another review thru the observer that mentioned consistency issues. After searching this thread it looks like the vast majority here thought it was good to great. I’ll probably be stopping by tomorrow for lunch. Much appreciated
