Aliens play college football? They looking to schedule some home planet and home planet series?
  5. I hope the powers that be way his NCAA tournament showings more heavily than the first BigXII championship. This was Shaka ball in all its glory tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I do know it was a thing around that time. Youngest daughter was in high school around that time. The thing was that it was a friend of hers and her friend's 2 aggie siblings that did it. So, I thought it was another aggie tradition that I was not aware of...like 'Fork t.u.' or similar
  7. She needs to lighten up... he did include "With all due respect..."
  8. This. Homicide:LOTS, Alien, Midnight Run... One of my favorite roles of his was in 'Brubaker'. Father of the "slow clap" perhaps? Anyway, RIP Mr. Kotto.
  9. I hope he gets the nod eventually. I was on campus the same time he was. He never struck me as 'athletic' when I saw him walking around but he was dominant on the field.
  10. Sequel checked all the boxes save for appearances from Darrell and the queen's little sister and the landlord. Laughed out loud. WTF'ed a couple of times. Overall, enjoyed it.
  11. Right now, according to www.suppose.tv, FoxSports regionals*** are all in the realm of AT&T. ***Fox Sports Southwest for my search.
  12. Do you even, 'Duel', 'Brian's Song', 'Jericho Mile',etc... ,bro?
  13. Put me in the camp of WTF for 'I Care A Lot'. As others stated, it was a decent ride until the lake scene. You've spent the entire movie portraying this woman and her girlfriend as ruthless people praying on elderly people. Now, you want the audience to sympathize\empathize with the same women after they escaped what they truly deserved? Nope. Was I the only one who had to IMDB Alicia Witt? I was like, the voice is quite familiar but I can't quite place that face....
  14. Watched the Bee Gees doc. It was worth the watch. That last clip of them on stage coincided with an allergy flare-up.
  15. Realtor - 'Their is also a cistern in the basement that the owner had installed years ago...'
  16. That last pic of the fireplace... does anyone else get a minor serial killer vibe from looking at that?
  17. The Lost Girls - starring Amy Ryan (The Office, Gone Baby Gone), Gabriel Byrne. Based on a true story - Girl goes missing, ends up uncovering the work of a serial killer(s). The main arc is around the police and their handling of the cases and their interactions with the surviving family members. Overall, I though it was a good movie. Depressing material though.
  18. The Crew - got 5-10 minutes in on 1st episode. Thought,"Nope". Got up the next day, "I will give it a few more minutes." Watched probably 2 minutes... Nope.
  19. Saw this type of shit in The Woodlands after hurricanes nailed stations on the coast. They would announce rolling blackouts. We were like, OK, lets roll with it. Every time this would happen in our neighborhood - Copper Sage in Cochran's Crossing - our house and about 3-4 others would be without power. I could literally look across the street and see folks with their lights on. Them and the rest off the neighborhood never saw their lights flicker over the course of a couple of weeks. This was during August... you can only get to one layer of naked to try and cool off. Bottom line, this shit sucks. It sucks more for others. I know what you are feeling.
