  1. Lol I was just looking at VaTech Enter Sandman videos earlier today.
  2. Flagg block + dime for the lead. Yeah I'm very comfortable with the Bird/Bron comps.
  3. I mean - are you watching the game? He's just trying shit out there and isn't shooting the ball well. It happens. 5 boards 3 dimes 3 swipes 0 turns (and he would have more dimes if he was playing with NBA players). His activity on both ends of the floor is stunning for an 18 year old. It's all-time shit for someone his age. If you want to short/fade this kid then go ahead. He's going to be a top 10 player by his 3rd season.
  4. Flagg is a menace on D. Very Birdesque the way he is always in the right spot and gets his hands on shit.
  5. I think this one is pretty obvious.
  6. I'M NOT SAYING WE'RE THE 90S BULLS WE COULD JUST AS EASILY BE THE 00S SPURS Dude shut the fuck up.
  7. Bronny and Flagg in iso - Bronny actually plays some pretty good D - jars the ball loose but gets called for a foul. Dallas inbounds the ball right back to Flagg. He wastes zero time and hits a 19 foot turnaround straight in Bronny's face. This kid is a fucking savage. He also tried to bang on someone from like 10 feet out - I thought he got fouled but they let it go. He's going to put up 20 in his sleep next season.
  8. Everyone that was too afraid to comp this kid to LeBron is a fucking bitch. Cannot believe Dallas fell ass-backwards into him.
  9. Let's tone the smugness down a little bit, please. Michael Jordan isn't on your team and you just got taken to 7 in two series and debatably needed a torn Achilles to get you the title.
  10. Um. Can we talk about this weather? It's fucking 87 in Kyle right now. And sunny. 87. In July. At 5 pm.
  11. I mean even Jesus was gay once in awhile.
  12. You don't understand the "current state" of the NBA because you don't watch the games. I know twice as much about every era of the NBA and how they relate to each other as you do. And that's being generous. You casually watched the NBA for like 15 years growing up and think you know as much as someone who is obsessive about the sport. Curry has been getting targeted and getting his ass kicked his entire career. He has not gotten protected by officials. That is part of why he is one of the 10 greatest players to ever pick the ball up. Shut the fuck up, Slorch.
  13. This is fucking hysterical. How many NBA games do you watch every year? 4? I need @aggie08 to see this.
  14. I've been very down to help this entire time but I keep hearing that there really isn't need for volunteers and that most people are just getting in the way. I already did what I could financially. I'm pretty young and lithe and can get after it for hours at a time. I don't have a wife or kids. I can't take like a week off work but I could chip in a day or two at a time. Just let me know I guess - feel free to send a pm.
  15. I'd take Freese over Steffen. I just can't trust Steffen. This is what we need from a CB. This kid is slowly winning me over and slowly becoming less of a liability at his position. That he is homegrown makes it better, imo. We should always have at least one AMERICAN American CB. Shit like that matters. Your grammar here is consistently trash. It was trash throughout the comment that I just quoted. I like you as a poster but miss us with calling out Chris Richards' "grammar". We fucking need that kid to step up next year. He needs all the support, karma, juju - whatever the hell we can give him.
  16. Dude - I don't draft the CBA or negotiate media deals or set the cap. That 70 figure kicks in in 2028. If you think Book isnt worth the max number - for Phoenix, especially - then I can't help you.
  17. Shit. I don't know. This may be his masterpiece. I hit send before the end of credits scene. Steinfeld with the lollipop does something to a man (and it isn't just that). Maybe a 9? I think I'm going to watch it again right now. I rarely do this - I remember doing it with Drive.
  18. Thoughts after my 2nd watch: The first part - 40 mins or so - before they get to the night at the juke joint is probably my favorite part of the film. It's masterful filmmaking with the world-building and character introductions and cinematography and dialogue. Frankly I think the setting is just prettier and it makes for more aesthetically pleasing shots. It's still very good and very fun after that. I also think it lags a bit in the middle - the pacing isn't particularly good for awhile. The last 30 minutes are pretty powerhouse. It's overall extremely brilliant but a little messy. This is the best thing Coogler has done by far but I think he has something better in him. I also don't understand the political bitching about the film - I probably need a couple more watches to sus out what exactly the societal commentary is but I know for a fact that it's more complex than "white people are the devil". e.g. the white - lead - vampire is Irish and talks about his own persecutions and struggles. They also include a couple of phenomenal songs sung by him and his crew. There is also a lot of black people fucking other black people over throughout. It isn't "black vs. white" and even if it was who gives a shit - it's a great film. 8/10. Very fun and unique. This will be in my rotation for a long, long time and the type of film that I insist that people that haven't seen it watch. We need more movies like this.
  19. This team is fucking loaded. Miller just needs to prove he can coach.
  20. That's overrating it but it's a good movie.
  21. We are fucking leading MLB in team ERA. And in runs against. And in WHIP. Maybe I'm not picking up on the sarcasm and this comment is a joke. Oh - also - we're the best fielding team in baseball.
  22. What I'm realizing in an at-home setting is that it borderline requires a very proper setup - especially the audio. I'm housesitting watching my mom's dogs and her TV is fine but the TV speakers weren't cutting it. They were nearly ruining it. I figured out how to get the sound on my Bluetooth headphones instead - fiddled with the settings - and now I'm in business. It's a rare film where the audio is just as if not more important than the picture. I'll post some more thoughts once I've watched it through again but I'm leaning towards the idea that this probably becomes one of my all-time favorites.
  23. Live look at @ztejas dialing in his headphone settings for his second viewing of Sinners. (btw highly recommend JBL and its associated app)
  24. Face Off is a good movie but like you said basically nothing else in his catalog is very redeemable.
