I’ll take the bet and put up tree fiddy. If I win I’ll just give it back because I don’t want to run this place. Edit: I agree with you that we don’t pass Oregon- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
I meant do the rankings for why Oregon is ahead of Texas using the same math as the post I quoted- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
Now do 1 loss Oregon you’re applying math and logic where the committee has shown that it’s a popularity contest or an eye test- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
In the unlikely event of a Michigan loss, we are in.- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
We need two play in games and make it 66 teams- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
SEC Championship - You know an SEC team is getting in, that is either 13-0 Georgia or 12-1 Alabama The SEC and PAC champions are both getting in even if it is Oregon and Alabama.* Our only hopes are on Michigan and/or FSU losses * There is an outside chance of jumping 12-1 Oregon or Alabama if they play like shit and win a 5-3 OT game while we cruise over OK St. Spots will go to teams in about this order: 13-0 Georgia 13-0 Michigan 13-0 Washington 13-0 FSU 12-1 Alabama 12-1 Oregon 12-1 Texas- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
Tuesday's ranking don't matter If 12-1 Alabama beats #1 Georgia they are in. That win vs #1 Georgia is better than our Win against Alabama. If #5 Oregon beats #3 Washington then Oregon is in. The Conference Championship game rankings matter and Texas will not jump the winner of these top 10/top 5 conference championship games. Only if Michigan or FSU loses or some outside chance is the Alabama or Oregon wins are very ugly and we steamroll.- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
There is a thread: no chance- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
Here are how I see the four spots broken down: SEC Champ (13-0 Georgia or 12-1 Alabama) Top 10 game PAC Champ (13-0 Washington or 12-1 Oregon) Top 5 game Michigan if they win (13-0 Michigan is in 12-1 is out unless FSU and Texas lose) one team is not in top 10 FSU if they Win (13-0 FSU is in, 12-1 is out) one team is not in top 10 Next up if Michigan and/or FSU lose: 12-1 Texas 12-1 Georgia (if it was close) 12-1 Michigan (if it was close) 11-1 Ohio State 12-1 Washington (think of the dumb and dumber gif, "So you're saying there's a chance") No chance: 11-2 Alabama 11-2 Oregon Iowa Louisville We could possibly jump a 12-1 Alabama or 12-1 Oregon if they look bad while winning a 12-15 OT game and we crush Oklahoma State. Oklahoma state is ranked too low and does not help us as much as a game against a top 10 OU would but everything else being equal that doesn't really help this year over the advantages we already have.- Tell Me About Texas a&m
Well they sure owned Duke on that one! He'll still be talking to ducks. No but New Mexico State is. Either way the B/CS Herald will get to run the headline, "Aggies win!"- Coaches need to be aware that losing the next game will leave them without a Big 12 Championship
Stillwater = No Austin = Yes- Coaches need to be aware that losing the next game will leave them without a Big 12 Championship
I thought it was Bill in Sinton- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
Agree PAC and SEC champs are in. Michigan and FSU are only guaranteed as conference champs. Texas as a conference champ jumps a 1 loss non conference champ.- THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
If we are left out I hope we play a 1 loss Georgia again or tOSU in the bowl game.- tOSU @ Michigan
Hired by Aggy with a big raise- Fuck Big 12 refs
