  1. "Conference was great to be a part of for the short time we got to be a member with Slive. Great leadership, no sips, respect among member institutions." Lol, no one ever respected them. They were admitted into the SEC because A&M would never pose any threat on the field and would pave the way for SEC teams to recruit in Texas. It was the ultimate disrespect.
  2. If anyone has a recruits ICQ handle, post it here and I'll message him.
  3. Also losing Sanders. We should have Cook, Moore, and Cain, but none is proven yet, and even if all play well, we'll need additional starters, not to mention depth.
  4. As much as I hate Jimbo, I'd love to see aggy fire him, the Big Money Ags pay off his contract, and then Jimbo wins a natty within a couple of years at his next stop. The meltdown would be epic.
  5. Remember those guys who repeatedly shit the bed last year? They're going to be starting for us again this year!
  6. If these deaths are simply people getting too drunk, wandering off, and falling in the water, then wouldn't we expect to see roughly a 50/50 split between men and women? I'm not sure why the decedents would all be men unless someone is targeting men in particular.
  7. That's what's so strange. Ewers had a lot of bad throws last year, ngl, but this was not one of them.
  8. SIAP, I saw on reddit that DeAndre Moore suffered a leg injury yesterday. The info is attributed to TFB if anyone has it. Edit: Monday, not yesterday
  9. Fact: the weight of Ketch's rankings is inversely related to the weight of his FUPA.
  10. Damn, I still remember attending the business school's naming ceremony as a student. Great guy. RIP.
  11. I guess I'm in good company, lol
  12. Totally get it. It's funny how different things affect people differently. I've been drinking NA beers for long enough to know that they're safe for me. I drink 1 or 2 and don't feel a thing, but they help me fit in for social situations.
  13. Well I'm not here to advocate anything, but for me personally, gummies were hugely helpful in dropping the alcohol. For about 2 weeks, I took one every night and timed it to kick in when the cravings would start. It mellowed me out enough that I got through it. Now I take them as needed, usually a few times a week, but I never have cravings for them. Part of the issue, I think, is that I genuinely enjoy over-consuming alcohol, whereas I do not enjoy over-consuming THC.
  14. Man, the withdrawals were bad, especially the cravings. I don't ever want to go back there. Now, I drink N/A beer regularly. Normally one or two a day. It's not a slippery slope for me, but it makes me feel somewhat normal I guess.
  15. Lol, so I negged Porterhouse twice because he deserved it, and he retaliated by going to my post history, pulling up a couple of random posts from the recruiting board, and negging them. Petty much?
  16. I haven't posted in this thread (as far as I can recall), but I'm about 19 months without a drink, after drinking daily and heavily for a couple of years prior. I blame the stress and ease of access during covid lockdowns, but whatever. The first year was hard with holidays, vacations, weddings, etc., but after a while everyone knows I'm not drinking, and it got a lot easier. I wonder sometimes if I'll ever drink again, and what limits I should set (e.g., only on vacation), but I'm enjoying being sober and don't want to mess it up.
  17. You new around here? Because your comment implies that surly has "boundaries" or "limits".
  18. Awesome. He clearly has a good heart.
