  1. Heads should roll for this BS. Do any of the tool bags running TPWD remember 2011? JFC
  2. I guess I'll watch the last 30 minutes of that POS before watching 4. Ugh. My mind seems to have blocked out that movie.
  3. No. They only send positive or negative in the text message.
  4. I had a similar experience. After receiving the text, It took a few hours for my lab results to appear in my CPL account.
  5. The most chilling account for me was the guy placing "deceased" tags on the bodies and one mangled woman responded, "I'm not dead. Call my daughter." I got chills. Damn.
  6. 2nd Pfizer shot 4/1. My COVID-19 antibody test results from Texas CARES are: N-Test: NEGATIVE S-Test: POSITIVE - 785
  7. Thanks to Equifax, I have to deal with random calls about a "case" against me. The dirt bags threaten to send someone to pick me up at home. They've even called my parents and my boss with the same BS. Maddening.
  8. It has to be BS. My parents over by Parmer/Mopac have never lost power or water. We're going over later to take showers.
  9. I'm so cheap that I'm filling my bathtub with snow in order to flush toilets.
  10. Welp, snow is coming down again in 78749. Fuck everything.
  11. I'm starting to collect snow for toilet flushing because my filled tub is getting low. I haven't seen any updates on when the water will be turned back on down in SW Austin. I'm planning on it being out until this weekend.
  12. Damn, I've been in this house 21 years. I had no idea they were putting the customer cut off valves in garages, now. That makes way more sense.
  13. What does that mean? Is that different than the box in the ground by the street? My house was built in 2000 and has a customer cut off valve and a pressure regulator valve (?), too. The city has their own manhole with the meter and cut off valve. Older places probably don't have customer side cut off valves.
  14. I went out Saturday and removed all the dirt that was covering my cut off valve. It fell apart as I tried to turn it. Doh! I had to dig out the accumulated dirt covering the city's cut off valve, too. I used a crescent wrench to test turning it off. I've been team stream on both my hose bibs since Friday with no freeze up, yet. 48 more hours to go...
  15. I the first shot was a non-lethal weapon. I think a saw a beanbag or something similar bounce off him.
  16. I closed my Protax account. This new fee structure frightens and confuses me.
  17. The GF tech that installed my service asked me which room to put the fiber jack. He ran it through my attic down to my office I ditched the GF box for a Netgear switch, Linksys unmanaged switch, enGenius AP, and Asus router. http://itnutt.com/how-to-bypass-google-fibers-network-box/ I like hard-wired connections for everything but mobile devices and laptops. Wireless is flaky. The hardware: Netgear GS108T-200NAS - Only thing plugged in to this is the network cable from the fiber jack. Don't plug in any unprotected devices, unless you're setting up a honeypot for attackers. Linksys LGS108P - Plugged into the Asus router so all clients are behind a firewall. enGenius AP - The wireless converage sucked using the Asus router. Plugged the AP into the PoE port on the Linksys. Ausus RT-AC68U - The wireless is turned off. This router has CTF so 1 gbps is possible. If I had to do it over, I'd buy the Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite or PoE instead of the Netgear switch and Asus router. Link I hit 940/940 from wired clients and up to 300/300 with wireless AC clients. I was happy to ditch TWC.
