  1. Kuch is -4, after 3 holes....is that any good? So 50 alert - and if there is anyone I'm comfortable with jinxing it could be Kuch (paying his caddie $5k in Mexico when he won will kinda stick in one's memory)
  2. Love to watch clips of Lee - he was amazing, and the old caddie in me really like to see Herman Mitchell get some time on camera as well.
  3. They seem to have an unlimited ability to print money and make bad hiring decisions. That seems to be what their brand is really all about.
  4. This is the way
  5. Not to Sports up a CR thread - but I think you may have it wrong, I think RFKjr is a huge Jets fan and this whole campaign is just a way to get out of the Rodgers contract. Prove me wrong....
  6. more like FAFO
  7. On the other hand - the drop in this stonk is dropping couple of days like someone really wants out starting at $2.40 and continuing. That being said what Trey posted has my interest up... (don't do it Wally, swear to god it would suck to pull the trigger
  8. I'm not saying it is @Nicole44 , but I am hearing people say it is Nicole
  9. not looking to jinx Scottie - but I feel like that was is a great description for Jordan, it was so much fun watching him in 2015, looked like he could do it all, because he did. And then it just wasn't the same. Golf is a quirky game, swings come and go. Tiger was always changing his swing, coaches, equipment, and he still was top dog - until his body wore out. Right now Scottie is the hottest thing in the game, but to be the best of the generation will take being able to do it year after year after year. I hope he can continue at this pace because the game is better when there are super stars.
  10. Truth
  11. LOL - I remember having to change about 15 clocks when time change hit, and then cell phones and the internet happened. And I am down to the microwave, the oven, and my wifes car. Everything else syncs up - the DVR, the computer, cell phones (which among other things replaced the alarm clock), we got rid of a couple of wall clocks, answering machines, etc. I am team #daylight savings, don't mind getting up and driving to work in the dark (in the winter) but I hate leaving work in the dark. And the later it is light is okay with me - more time to play golf, mow my lawn, work in the garden, be at the beach, sitting on the deck grilling & drinking beer. And actually I am okay with changing times, as I've done it most of my life and seems like I've survived.
  12. Have we started a gofundme for this guy - I mean he wants to save the world, and he is reaching out to Surly posters. Or maybe we could use some of the money in the wreath fund; I forget do we need to vote on the release of funds for non-memorial purposes? Can someone check the by-laws, or just PM Derka or Immamac
  13. and it looks he won't break 40 on the front 9 today - this is an example of why we all have a love/hate relationship with this game
  14. This is a score that impresses me and Romeo (and it is why Jordan doesn't have the high score today)
  15. Early forecast from Accuweather (maybe 2% better than the Old Farmers Alamanac a month out from the eclipse). I hope it is true - because that is looking good for Wally! https://www.accuweather.com/en/solar-eclipse-2024/solar-eclipse-weather-forecast-accuweather-provides-1st-cloud-outlook/1628495
  16. Investing is like riding a roller coaster I like the roller coaster ride...
  17. More like making friends while bonding over the shared life experience of losing money on shared stonk investments
  18. What are the odds that I (and my fellow Surly posters) would be on the same message board as someone who can stop WWIII? Who in Austin Is the modern day equivalent Archduke Ferdinand?
  19. I didn't ask who to do it, I asked if anyone had searched, or called? Give it a try, record it and post the response - tell whoever answers you are a friend of Joe Stang and are concerned about his mental health
  20. So anyone else google that phone number? anyone give it a call?
  21. Seems like the speech writers did their job, Grandpa Joe did better than anyone thought he would/could last night. Now the trick will be to see when he stumbles while out stumping in the next few months. In all honesty he was elected because of strong Democratic voting and getting out the Never Trump vote; both of those had been slipping for him as he and his administration had faller over the past year. Will last nights performance be enough to elect him to a 2nd term? (and likely get Kamala Harris as the first woman as president when Joe has to step down). No matter what happens Trump will get his supporters out to vote - the question in my mind is will enough people get out to support Biden to get to 270
  22. Maybe he borrowed some from Boebert
  23. Speech writers have done s great job so far
