  1. We are making the two versions as close to the same as possible so that there is less disruption when someone has to quarantine 14 days because someone in their house is positive. It will also make the transitions easier when people start switching from remote to in person. Or if a campus has to temporarily shut down.
  2. I believe I'm all ready to go for kids returning to my classroom tomorrow. About 60% of our school is staying remote. We are doing one way halls and stairs, classroom desks are spread out but no barriers or plexiglass. Lunch tables are spread way out and limit numbers at tables. Different entrance/exit procedures, etc. Everyone in masks the whole time. I have as few as 4 in a class and as much as 14. Everyone else online.
  3. I haven't paid attention to the videos so it may have happened but I'm surprised there weren't jet skis and wave runners launching 40 feet into the air. Some of those dudes are nuts and see big wakes as their own personal stunt ramps.

    NES Thread

I believe all the games mentioned by the OP are on the Switch online NES thing
  5. 100 bucks each. That would be a little steep for my two daughters and their two switches. They would likely have a blast and terrify the cat, but 200 bucks to have a race is a lot.
  6. That does look cool. RC car racing but with the shells and weapons and stuff. I wonder how long you can go on a charge, and how expensive is it...
  7. not exactly a big job, but I successfully replaced two breakers in my panel without electrocuting myself. So that's good.
  8. I plan on getting it once I get a next gen console. I had thought that would be a PS5 but now I'm leaning towards XBoxSeriesX
  9. Some newer arcade games had endings. I remember myself and a couple friends reaching the end of The Simpsons beat-em-up game.
  10. You're kidding right? That was in no way a restrictor plate race. The field spread out within 2 laps of a restart. The lead swapped a lot between Dixon and Rossi and then again between Dixon and Sato. There were multiple big movers. Farucci went from 19 to 4. Castroneves went 28 to 11. Jack Harvey went 20 to 9. And 8 different teams filled the top 10.
  11. That particular spot is the most dangerous spot on the track, they can't run green until it's properly fixed, and it would have taken way too long to then come back and run a couple green laps.
  12. Alonso finishes 21st. OWard finishes as the highest rookie and 1 of only 2 Chevy engines in the top 10.
  13. Huge day for the Letterman-Rahal team.
  14. Sucks for Dixon, dominated all day, was my pick to win but Sato was on rails in the last stint and the yellow cut it a bit short. Dixon may not have caught him anyway but oh well. Congrats to Sato.
  15. Holy cow. Huge crash with 5 to go.... Is that going to be Sato win? Or red flag?
  16. Dixon won't pit. I wonder who might.
  17. Rossi crashes out, probably overdriving to try and recover from the penalty
  18. Wow, that's a huge penalty for Rossi.
  19. Yeah, wonder if that will be some kind of penalty.
  20. Rossi takes the lead, Dixon let him by pretty easily, they want to save fuel behind him a little bit
  21. Dixon radio still worried about fuel mileage.
  22. I dunno, I think they're getting out about as fast as always, a couple guys have been a bit clumsy with the air hose on the helmet but they'll adjust to that. The belts and steering wheel take the longest and they're unchanged.
  23. Askew slammed hard. Man his rears just kicked out on the brakes.
  24. Geeze Daly, just dipped low and lost it.
  25. Listening to Dixon's radio on the app and this second extended yellow is going to help Dixon on fuel mileage. They were already talking a lot about having to save fuel while also leading the race. Now it'll be easier for them to hit their numbers and take two more stops.
