  1. I think they’re splitting broadcast rights between NBC and Fox now with some games being broadcast on Peacock and USA Network throughout the season
  2. Who needs Michael Dell or Elon Musk when we’ve got GreenspointTexas and his Nursing money at our disposal
  3. The fact that the Cosgroves even considered working with Darlene instead of offing her after she shot off the boy’s dick made no sense to me.
  4. 4 hours would be a lot of time for Babers to fill but when he had the "Rodcast" with just him and no other cohosts he was pretty good. I think it was only a 2 hour show though. I didn't mind Dunn but there were a lot of times when Rod would try to make a point and Dunn would interject something not even really related and completely sidetrack the whole point Rod was trying to make. I'd imagine they'll have to bring in someone new to the station and shuffle the lineup. No idea who though.
  5. Hopefully the fresh blood doesn't involve bringing FCB back to the radio business. Agree though that they need reshuffling. Chad and Trey are unlistenable and the afternoon show has been bad since BK left.
  6. From a pure football standpoint, NFL is head and shoulders more entertaining. If I want to just casually watch football with no rooting interest, I'll go NFL but I get way more invested in Texas football games just because of the emotional attachment of being a lifelong Austin-area kid and a graduate of UT
  7. Unbelievable. I’d be sick to my stomach if I was a Bills fan

  9. Wendy is unstable and erratic. She’d have gotten Walt caught very quickly. Now, if Walt had Ruth instead of Jesse, that’d be a different story. I love how Marty has a deadpan reaction to pretty much every situation and conversation regardless of what is happening. It’s like watching Michael Bluth break bad. The PI is a horrible character and I hate whenever he’s on-screen. Surprised he hasn’t gotten offed yet.
  10. Revenge of the Sith has some really solid action sequences. Of course some of the dialogue and progression is a bit off but it’s still the best of the prequels and it’s still stronger than any of the Sequel Trilogy movies. As far as this show, it’s solid Star Wars content, but I miss season 1 Mandalorian when it felt like a new story with new characters separate from the original story. While last season was solid of course, I miss when Mandalorian wasn’t directly tied to characters from the animated shows. They still did a decent job of exploring new planets and general world-building. I get that the story here is Boba as the Daimyo of Tattoine, but damn I’m getting tired of seeing nothing but Tattoine. And then I dislike how Boba is constantly needing to heal in the Bacta Tank after minimal combat, while in the Mandalorian, he practically single-handedly wiped out a platoon of Storm Troopers. I wanna see more badass Boba Fett and less talking Boba Fett. I suspect that’s where this is headed once he recruits Pedro Pascal as was hinted at the end of this episode and goes to war with the Pikes.
  11. She’s at least slightly better than Skyler White. So she’s got that going for her I guess.
  12. I forgot how weird and uncomfortable the whole Wyatt and Darlene thing is
  13. The Mississippi schools both beat the team who beat Bama, who beat Georgia in the SEC Championship Game…..so by aggie logic the Mississippi schools are the best teams in College Football
  14. Calling him an “Average college coach” is generous
  15. Agree with all of this. I had a hard time getting too invested because I knew this team didn’t have what it took to win a championship. Teams that lead the league in penalties typically don’t win Super Bowls and I have no faith in McCarthy to clean that up. McCarthy having a history of being straight up inept with regards to managing the clock in tight situations also didn’t give me much faith that we could win right games like yesterday. He was an uninspired hire who wasted most of Aaron Rogers career.
  16. That’s cherry-picking one game. The Bengals-Raiders game was a solid game. Not to mention the Raiders-Chargers game last week was as fun and exciting as any college football game this season.
  17. Hard to argue those 2 seasons. Mags was my favorite villain of the show. Season 6 did a great job of wrapping everything up. Sam Elliot was good in that season too although it was distracting seeing him without his trademark mustache. It’s been a while since I watched the series, but I remember thinking the show was on a downhill slide in season 5 but they recovered nicely. I should probably rewatch it before the new limited series comes out.
  18. Also been rumors connecting Ryan Day with the Bears job but I’ll believe that when I see it. Harbaugh is much more likely to leave in my opinion.
  19. Agreed. Having the championship game on a weeknight is stupid. Have it on a Saturday where College Football games belong. If it must be on a weekday, put it on Friday
  20. But they were the only team to beat the team who beat the champions, so advantage aggy
  21. I’ve never been a Switch guy before. Nothing against it, just mainly played Call of Duty and Madden which aren’t on Switch. I heard there was a new Metroid game so I decided to borrow my girlfriend’s Switch to play it and it’s such a smooth game. Some of the boss fights can be challenging but once you figure out their patterns, it’s doable. Now I’m absolutely hooked on the Switch. Very smooth console. Anyone have any recs for other games? I’ve heard the Super Smash Bros game and Legend of Zelda BOTW are great. Any other ones I should check out?
