  1. Yeah, I don't give a fuck how he looks in practice.
  2. As far as football goes OU is our biggest rival. But for all other sports it's definitely A&M.
  3. Not necessarily. That means you can't contact him personally but you're still able to contact his agent/representative, in this case his dad.
  4. After last season I don't understand how you can go into next season with Bert/Stone
  5. Bobby Burton As of this 12:01 this morning, the transfer portal has officially opened. It promises to be the wildest ride of college football free agency that we've ever seen. Around the nation, teams and their personnel departments are literally scrambling to make it all happen. But hopefully it won't be so crazy for Texas. The Horns, far from being in any sort of rebuilding mode, are looking to hold what they have while adding a few select pieces to one of the country's most talented teams. What pieces exactly? Steve Sarkisian has mentioned WR, TE, and the defensive front. Granted, Sark spoke about WR before the Horns landed Stanford transfer Emmett Mosley V on Monday. Therefore, we don't expect the Horns to go after another receiver, not with the emergence of Parker Livingstone in this camp to join Ryan Wingo, DeAndre Moore and Mosley, as well as the promising young freshmen. The one caveat at the position might be if there's a potential, high-level return specialist who is also a receiver that comes available thereby addressessing a clear need. At tight end, the Horns would love to find someone as talented and proven as Cal's Jack Endries, who had 56 catches for 623 yards a year ago and was the Golden Bears' leading receiver. But most in the recruiting industry believe Endries is headed for upstart Indiana where his former college quarterback has already transferred to. Plus, he's expected to be heavily recruited across the country with Oklahoma, Alabama and Miami all giving chase. Just remember, Sark calls the tight end possibly the second most important position in his offensive scheme, so the Horns are going to try to find the best tight end possible. And, if history proves correct, likely land someone that fits. On the defensive front, the needs are perhaps a tad more vague. A rash of injuries has hurt the depth at edge, with both Colton Vasek and Zina Umeozulu out for much of spring and Trey Moore spending more and more time at off-ball linebacker. While Texas likes its true freshman on the edge (Sark has mentioned them more than once), there's still a long season and so many snaps to consider, especially if another injury were to occur. The interior DL likely needs at least one, if not two, new faces, too. Gerry Hamilton likes to mention the need for a penetrating three-technique, a disruptor of sorts. Those will be admittedly hard to find. And if they're out there, the recruitments are likely to be ultra-competitive. This is where General Manager Brandon Harris and his staff have to really beat the bushes to find someone who not only that fits their needs but also matches the quality of play required to make a run at a national championship. Texas could also just use more depth generally on the interior, that's why I always say two, not just one, DLs are a possibility. On top of the "select" positional pieces mentioned above, Sark always makes it a point to go after what he sees as unique opportunities, like Andrew Mukuba a year ago. So if someone who Sark or the staff sees a player they think can help the Horns win another game, then don't be surprised if Texas makes a real run at them. That could come at virtually any position on the roster. The portal is open. For Texas, the goal is for the madness to ensue all around you, yet stay steady and meet (or potentially exceed) your specific needs.
  6. Why it seems all the major programs are going to set an example of Nico for the hold out. It’s not something any school wants to become a thing.
  7. If I remember correctly Neyor sealed his fate when he refused to enter the game vs Wyoming.
  8. I don't think we minded losing Brooks
  9. Walton and Trill are the only legit ones I can think of.
  10. With Vasek being a constant health risk edge is fairly thin but very talented.
  11. Have you seen how well the teams who are in Vegas are doing financially?
  12. That Texas state kicker seems like current best in portal
  13. Roster is in a lot better place now imo.
  14. Do you not like Texas having a competitive advantage?
  15. Try to get there when they open because seating inside is very limited unless you don't mind standing outside in the heat
