  1. Dude got ktfo'd, with no punches thrown!
  2. tree:1 man:0
  3. He looked like Danny Devito in that hat
  4. Possibly but he eats so many shots. If he doesn't learn to slip better he may win a belt like Charles O but he'll lose it, like Charles O.
  5. Wait, Logan Paul got his energy drink into Walmart? Dude is gonna make bank.
  6. Cody man. So talented but so gun shy due to his glass jaw.
  7. On second thought, he might have been trying to knock the guy down so that they could smother the flames. Not a bad idea, but bad execution.
  8. Not a fight, just shenanigans and a major wtf. First of all, I'm not at all surprised to see a dude in Berkeley walking down the street in flames. That town is cray. But, WTF was the guy with the bike thinking?
  9. Ayayayayay
  10. Jake Paul can keep making money fighting YouTubers. Fury at some point has to stop fighting Uber drivers and fight a real boxer and then he'll get destroyed.
  11. I'll watch. Tommy sucks. Jake Paul sucks. Should be a sloppy good time.
  12. I made my wife watch Battlestar Galactica from the beginning (recent one, not the one from the '80s) because she'd never seen it. She loves Sci-Fi and she'd been watching Halo (so bad) and she watches all the Star Wars crap shows. Mando's okay, I haven't seen Andor, everything else blows. It's been a long time since I'd seen BSG, but I really wasn't prepared for just how much better it is than current sci-fi shows - the writing, the acting, the pacing. They developed characters and they let scenes breathe. They used subtext, and character reactions rather than exposition (basic show don't tell). The only thing it didn't have is special effects. BSG really belongs up there as one of the best shows of all time, I would say top 10 IMO. Yeah I know, it ended terribly because of the writer's strike. Oh, and also the fact that they took care to have the military comms sound like a real military would. That was a nice touch.
  13. Yeah, its really a shame how sport specific things have gotten. Once in a while you get throwbacks like Roger but he's the anomaly. And he's also all the way in London. I'm really out of it so I really don't know, but I think Rickson's organization stays true to roots. Straight Blast professes that they use old style but I don't know if it's just talk. The best training I ever got was with guys from Carlson, but that's old news.
  14. Whoa, sorry I'm just seeing this now. Just watched this interview and it's like deja vu. I started around the same time, maybe a little before the first UFC. I kept seeing these Gracie in Action ads in martial arts magazines and I ordered one. I was mesmerized and I had to learn it. So I called around to see if there were any schools teaching it and I finally found one way the fuck down in San Diego (Reylson Gracie). I think I called Torrance but they didn't pick up the phone. I was in SF so San Diego was a no-go but the guy that answered the phone told me that his brother was teaching out of garage in SF. So I gave him a call and showed up at the garage. They were all like these huge dudes that turned me into a pretzel and I was hooked. I still have my Krugans gi! I eventually got to train with several Gracies after that. btw - I never thought I'd see the day that Austin would become the epicenter of BJJ. Back when I was there, the closest we had was a Judo club. You guys living there are lucky. These days my knees are too bad to train but it's fun being a spectator.
  15. How it started: https://houstonfamilymagazine.com/i-am-houston/hayim-cohen-bright-light/ How it's going: Harris County adoptive father of 9 arrested after son accused him of sexual abuse on podcast
  16. New season of You, or at least the first half. It's a completely different show now. Joe went from killing innocent women to protector of innocents, an antihero kind of like Dexter. It's pretty good and the new setting in London is a nice change of pace.
  17. Baseball cap dude punches like a girl
  18. Are they fighting over the blue-green haired girl? She is quite fetching. For two guys who don't know how to fight this is pretty entertaining. Nice attempt at a body slam and nice mid-air head and arm lock by the guy getting thrown. Big defends the only way he knows - with the dick grab.
  19. NSFW windmill vs titties
  20. Love both these guys. Could go either way.
  21. Volk seems stronger than Islam.
  22. Didn't matter I guess.
  23. Della Madalena and Brown look like two different weight classes. Brown is huge.
  24. Boy had it chambered and ready to go
  25. Dunno why I find this one so funny. Maybe it's everyone shouting instructions, or how they cheer when they hit the ground like it's the UFC.
