  1. You’re right, I should have said the most diverse large city in the nation. “And according to a new study by WalletHub, Houston is among the most diverse places in the nation. Houston is getting some time in the spotlight in WalletHub's annual ranking of the "Most Diverse Cities in the U.S. (2024)," maintaining its position as the No. 1 most diverse large city in America,” Apr 22, 2024. And, while the genocide of Comanches is, indeed, horrific, it remains unique that the greatest military force on Earth at that time, the Spanish army, was no match for the Comanche and their fluid war machine on horseback, and yet the Texas Rangers defeated them in a pitched battle. The first time that happened. I’m not making bumper stickers, I am answering a question. Enjoy Vegas. I’m sure it will be real.
  2. Texas has the most diverse city in the nation, has ten eco regions, and the flora from the west coast is on the southern side of hills near Utopia, going no further east, and flora from the east coast on the northern sides of the same hills, going no further west. Texas is the wintering grounds of North America’s tallest bird, the whooping crane. Texas’ Rangers were the first force on Earth to defeat the feared Comanche in a pitched battle. Texas’ Alibates flint was mined and fashioned to hunt, as far back as mammoths, and its trade reached as far south, and as far north, as have humans native to the continents of America. The oldest prehistoric human skeleton found in the New World was found in the Brushy Creek watershed, near Leander, TX.
  3. Debt? You don’t know history, bucko. Republican presidents explode the debt. The tax cuts are well in excess of the lie of savings. turnip stopped all cyber surveillance of Putin’s own tech bros. I hope it is your bank account that gets wiped clean, and not mine. I voted for economic growth, which Biden did deliver, and so would have Harris.
  4. You have to say the thing over and over to get it to stick in people’s minds.
  5. shocked/not that shock gif.
  6. Bitcoin is based on the consumption of energy. Evil is too benign a descriptor.
  7. So, you are fine with one person being above the law? Because there are laws that protect federal employees.
  8. Republicans: Social Security is a ponzi scheme! Half of US citizens: No, it’s not! It has met every obligation it has promised. Republicans: We will see about that. Fixed it for the truth.
  9. Tell me you haven’t been paying attention without saying you haven’t been dialed in on what’s afoot.
  10. Too convoluted for the hoi polloi to swallow. They need pablum. This is easy serve and easy to digest.
  11. Receipts now coming in detailing that Mike Miles, now head of HSID, is a lying, corrupt, piece of shit. https://www.texasobserver.org/mike-miles-third-future-schools-midland-classes/
  12. Let’s not sleep on money laundering.
  13. Case in point:
  14. Texians were multinational and interracial. So, if you reject those qualities, fuck off calling yourself a Texan. Not saying they were harmonious, just that they worked together against a common enemy.
  15. I remember when the loons held out for a gold standard. Now they’re willing to abide currency level grift with no oversight.
  16. Daryl Hannah is supposed to have said: “Slava, Ukraine!” (Glory to Ukraine).
  17. Bet you think you can define God, too. You are so knowledgeable about women, you back a party that consistently sides with rapists, from Tate, to Epstein, to abortion.
  18. When this pope dies, I am not optimistic about his successor.
  19. I prefer to rage that there are caps on how much a disabled person can earn but no caps on how much a billionaire can earn. Tax those threats to national security on their wealth, not their income. They have too many ways to earn without those earnings being declared as income. And any reluctance to see such wealth as a threat to national security ought to be seen as fucking foolhardy.
  20. Despite having learned how to plain text, and despite mostly remembering to do so, I fucked up. As I mentioned. And for which I have already offered an apology.
