  1. I guess the confusion come from me saying we "shorten our rotations" and you consider that the number of players who log any minutes.  Dudes getting 5 minutes here and there are not rotational players.

Been a lot of lopsided scores so far in Minny/Utah series, so D'Antoni's rotations haven't been as tight as in the past.  We've seen glimpses, with only 7 guys playing 10+ minutes in Game 1 vs. Utah, and 6 guys playing 30+ minutes in Game 2.

Our starters will log really heavy minutes vs. Golden State, assuming the games are tightly contested.  Gordon will get a lot of run, Luc and Anderson depending on how effective they are.  Green and Nene most likely don't play much, if at all.

  2. Proud and fired up that the Rockets won both games in Utah.  Team did a great job of countering any runs by the Jazz and keeping the crowd out of it. Something was clearly wrong with Harden last night. CP3 did a great job of picking up the slack and that's what makes this team legitimate.

Will be very interesting to see what our rotations will be vs. GS (assuming we get there, no jinx).  Typically we go the small lineup and use Anderson at the 5 vs. the Warriors.  Hope RA is fully healthy and ready to go. I don't want Nene getting minutes vs. GS.

You are either a fucking retard, or posting stupid shit to reverse some jinx. You obviously haven't been watching the Rockets much in the playoffs if you are thinking they have a short bench.

The Rockets have a set 7 man rotation. Nene, Green, and Anderson can add to it based on foul trouble and match-ups.

I guess you've come to your senses and agree with the "retard" now.

What politicians are evil (as opposed to being good people with whom you just happen to disagree about politics)?  Or deplorable, despicable, unethical, bad, ...

Stop arguing about the definition of evil.  Tahoe stupidly titled the thread and defined it above.

Is Trump a good person? No.

How insane that republicans are so inherently racist and are self aware of their racism to the point they will actually pay off black people to sell out their own people just so republicans can feel better about themselves. Rationalization becomes easier if you rig up situations to pay minorities to tell you that you aren't racist.

    What a country

In the case of Candace Owens, Trump/Republicans didn't start paying her to talk a certain way.  As a young, presentable, and educated African-American woman, she correctly predicted if she spewed anti-Black Lives Matter, anti-Ferguson, and "liberals are the real racists" rhetoric that there would be an audience for it.  So she started a YouTube channel, went on InfoWars, got hired by Charlie Kirk, and boom. She's now pulling Kanye's strings and hanging out with Don Jr.

Her YouTube name is "Red Pill Black", as she quickly, conveniently, and magically turned from liberal to "conservative" right around the time Trumpism was in full bloom. She speaks exactly like an old, white Trumpkin.  I'm telling you, she is gonna become a big deal for the Trump campaign. Investigative journalists need to do their homework on this woman.

It's become a hustle for some black conservatives (I don't even think these two are conservatives, they're like a parody) to co-sign right wing or alt-right/white supremacist rhetoric. That's why you have these two, Paris Dennard, Jesse Lee Peterson, Sheriff Clarke etc  popping out of the woodwork.

Don't forget Candace Owens. I actually think she will be the biggest beneficiary out of this hustle and is currently being groomed to be a weapon for Trump in 2020. She's already hanging out with Don Jr. and there are alt-righters calling for her to be a part of the Trump administration.

  7. Yes, but at that point, it's too late.  Trump is lying 95% of the time he opens his mouth, but none of his supporters give a shit.  The MSM can be reporting facts 95% of the time, but that 5% where they fuck up ANYTHING will immediately deem them as "fake news" by Trumpkins.  It's obviously ridiculously unfair, but that's the reality.  There is a war on truth and it's been obvious ever since Trump won the Republican primary.  There is no need to rush any breaking news, as it's a 24 hour cycle of shit everyday with Trump.  Get it right. They should be striving for perfection right now in this fucked up timeline we live in.

Already happened. Eric Garland. I despise these people on the far left that say stupid shit almost as much as the far right. Not helping in any way.

Trump's phony doctor's note should be getting more attention.   I know Trump has normalized lying about everything, but the health of a presidential candidate, particularly an extremely old and fat candidate, is important to voters.   If Hillary had won and it turned out she falsified a public medical report vouching for her good health, there would be a nuclear meltdown, and rightfully so.

It would be a term long scandal with any past elected president. Nothing matters anymore.

  10. Look, we can scoff at the old people that have been affected by Trumpism, as we know they'll die off sooner than later.

Trumpism infiltrating the youth is a troubling scenario.

  11. Fondren, I think you underestimate how young Americans view Kanye. It's not just about his music.  It's the brand he's built for himself over the years. To us olds, we see it as just a money-making mechanism. A significant portion of the younger generation is inspired by it.

He wont be the first and wont be the last to retweet a fake quote.  I think his heart is in the right place and like it or not, he's getting people talking and discussing this issue differently.

Maybe there is something to the argument that lower expectations create worse outcomes.

When I was growing up I was told by my father, "If you are shooting for the moon, aim above it, not at it."  I am sure he got it from somewhere else but the message got through to me.  Shoot high so you'll be happy where you land.

If you understand that, he's made his point.  He's made it in such a way that you are being forced into talking about him and what he said.

Candace Owens tweeted the fake Tubman quote as well.  For a "free thinker", Kanye sure is latching on to everything Candace Owens spouts.

  13. Well, Kanye actually believed that fake Harriet Tubman quote that I posted from his Twitter.  Apparently being a "free thinker" means the truth really doesn't matter.

  14. I've dabbled with some of Kanye's discography, and generally like it.  A lot of musicians/artists I truly respect think he's very talented, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in that arena.

Didn’t care about him when he was saying GWB doesn’t care about black people either. That guy has the IQ of a lima bean.

And that's fair. But he is a HUGE cultural influence on millions of young people. His opinion matters, and it's important for this shit to be addressed.

Kanye's mom was a professor. His dad was a Black Panther.  I don't know if he's mentally ill, or if that's even an excuse for his rhetoric lately, but I'm interested to see the resolution with this shit.
